Tell my story? Now that's an idea. I am called many things: the Lord of Souls, the Shadow of Death, the Undying Dreamer... I sired the Awakened of old. I have turned beggars into kings and kings into legends. I have argued the nature of man with the fathers of philosophy and spoken of gratitude with the first Sage. Since the dawn of my existence, I have walked the path of power with regard for little else. During the Great Trial, humanity's greatest hour of need, I dragged them from the jaws of their self-inflicted ruin for the sake of my beloved. Even now, few know the truth of it all. I am not a saint or a god. I am a watcher, a judge, a tormentor, and a killer. I am the Father. *** This is a cultivation story about an inhuman entity on its journey of power and self-discovery. The Father's story starts in ancient history and ends in a distant future but the majority of will take place in a near-future post-apocalypse setting. That said, the Urban Fantasy and Post-Apocalypse tags will be hinted at but won't come into play until Advent 3.1: The Great Dream. They'll come fully online at the start of the 3rd arc or 4.1 (story isn't there yet).

Is It Too Late To Move My Lair?
A legendary dragon... It has been told in the stories for hundreds of years. Some say it keeps a mountain of treasure in its cave, some say it is a vicious beast, some say it protects the village nearby, some claim it can grant their wishes, and some just think it's nothing more than a fairytale. He is not. The dragon is very real, although he isn't bothered by what people think of him in the slightest. He also doesn't have a grand treasure, nor does he grant wishes, like a magical genie. He is not interested in eating humans either. And as for protecting them… well. This is the story of the time before the legends, how they came to life and a dragon in the quest of his snooze. In a nutshell, this is a simple, light-hearted story with a dragon in it. What I have in mind is a relatively short one compared to most of the works on this site, but we'll see where it goes. This is my first attempt at writing something like this, so please be patient and kind in pointing out mistakes. As for the posting schedule... let's say it will be sporadic. You were web surfing on RoyalRoad, wondering about what kind of crap you will stumble across while you searched for your daily dose of stories, seemingly with nothing better to do in your life. While scrolling down that never ending list of novels, you noticed a novel named ‘You World’ which immediately grabbed your interest, and decided to click on it – yeh, you and that curiosity of yours. You waited for the page to load, then began reading the synopsis with maximum concentration.
