《Clementine x Male reader season 1》Chapter 36: Crawford Stories

Y/N Pov.
When Clem and I walked up to River Street we heard sounds of struggling, turns out it was Lee who was on top of another survivor and he had his gun pointed to their head.
Clementine: Lee?
Lee: Clementine?
Then he turns his head and sees me standing beside her.
Lee: Y/n?
Y/n: What's going on?
Before Lee gets to answer the survivor tries to get up but Lee holds them down until they lowered their hood and it turned out to be...a girl?
The girl turned to Lee and started to speak.
Girl: You're not from Crawford.
Lee: You're not the guy on the radio.
Girl: I'm not a guy at all. Full marks for observation.
Clem and I walk towards them both while Clem holds my hand.
Girl: Mind if I get up?
Lee: Slowly...
Kenny steps out from his hiding spot, pointing his gun at Molly.
Lee: Kenny, no! It's not our guy!
The Girl sweeps Kenny's leg, and he falls, dropping his gun as it fires. She then kicks his gun away and brings down her ice pick, stopping at the last second.
Lee: No! He's with us!
Kenny gets up and she too puts her weapon away.
Girl: Who the hell are you people?
Lee: I asked you first.
Girl: The name's Molly.
Lee: Molly, I'm Lee, this is Kenny, Y/n and Clementine. We're not looking for any trouble.
Clementine: Hi.
Y/n: Hello there.
Clementine waves.
Molly: You guys really aren't from Crawford, are you?
Lee: No, I'm from Macon. Kenny here's from Florida.
Kenny: She didn't ask for our life stories, Lee. What's the deal with this Crawford place?
Molly: You sure you wanna know?
Clem and I nod.
Molly: When everything went to shit, some people got together and sealed off that whole neighborhood. Folks willing to do anything to stay alive, stop the dead getting in. I try to avoid 'em.

Kenny: Why?
Molly: Let's just say they have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone who won't--or can't--live by their rules.
Kenny: So how'd you know we weren't them?
Molly: Because there are no children in Crawford. Not anymore.
Y/n: Really, Why?
Molly: No children, no elderly, no one with an advanced medical condition. Basically no one who might be a burden on the community. Crawford's all about the survival of the fittest. That's how they survived, while the rest of the world went to shit around them.
Kenny: Jesus Christ...
Molly: Well, just the opposite, when you think about it.
Lee: But still...children? You're not saying they...?
Kenny: In God's name, why?
Molly: No one stays in Crawford unless they can pull their own weight. Otherwise you're just another mouth to feed, another drain on their precious resources.
Clementine: What does that mean, "pull their own weight"?
Lee: It just means being able to help out. Like you do all the time.
Kenny: Doesn't sound like any kinda way to live to me.
Molly: Couldn't agree more.
Lee: How do you know all this?
Molly: Everyone in Savannah knew. What was going on inside Crawford got passed around like a ghost story. Except this one was true.
Molly: Look, I'm gonna ask you people again: you're not from Crawford, so who the hell are you? What are you doing here?
Lee: We came down here looking for a boat, hoping to get our people out of here and find someplace safe.
Molly: Yeah, good luck with that. Anyone with a boat took it out of here as soon as people started eating each other. Any that got left behind, Crawford stripped 'em for parts. Cars too.
Kenny: There's gotta be something.
Molly: If there was, do you think I'd still be here? I've been over every inch of this city, this whole place is picked clean.

Kenny: Goddamnit! Fuck!
Molly: Hey! Moron! You wanna keep your voice down?
Kenny: Shit.
Since you're not getting on any boat, I'd advise you folks to go back to where you came from, before--
Then before she could finish her sentence we all heard and saw walkers, A lot of them.
Molly: Great. Just great.
Kenny: Isn't that the--
Lee: The way we came.
Kenny: Fuck! Gunshot must've brought 'em back.
Clementine: Isn't there another way back to the house?
Y/n: Don't think so!
Lee: Molly, is there a--
We turned around to see Molly run into the alley. She wall climbs with her ice pick to get up to the fire escape.
Lee: Is there another way out of here?
Molly: Don't know, don't care.
Kenny: So what the hell are we supposed to do?
Molly: I refer you to my previous answer.
Clementine: But you have to help us! Please!
Molly turns around sees Clementine's sad expression and reaches out her hand.
Molly: Come on! Make it fast!
Clem looked at me because she was worried I assume.
Y/n: Just go Clem, I'll hold off the ones that get to Close.
Clem hesitantly nodded and as she did I ran up and sparta Kicked one walker into a group of other ones slowing them down as they fell like dominos.
Lee and Molly help Clementine climb up. Walkers start to fill the alley, more than I could handle at the moment.
Kenny: Oh, fuck me...
Lee: You're next Y/n, Come on!
I nod as I ran to Lee and he put me on his shoulders then Molly and Clem help me up.
Next was Kenny.
Lee: Come on, come on, hurry!
Lee, Molly, and I help Kenny climb up.
Clementine: Lee! Come on!
Y/n: You can reach, Just jump, Come on Lee!
Kenny reaches out his hand.
Kenny: Come on, man, one good jump!
Lee grabs Kenny's hand but is dropped to the ground.
Clementine: Nooo! Lee!
Lee pushes the dumpster to the side.
Y/n: Hurry!
There are walkers on the other side of the alley too.
Kenny: C'mon, Lee, get your ass outta there!
Lee tries to open the manhole cover.
Lee: Gah! Can't get it open!
Molly tosses down her climbing pick.
Molly: Here! Use that to pry it open!
Y/n: Damn.
They notice I was getting near the ledge.
Molly: Kid what are you doing?
Y/n: I gotta help Lee!
Kenny: Don't Jump!
Clem: Don't You'll get hurt!
Y/n: I'll be fine.
Before they could stop me I jump off the ledge and do a tuck and roll and I land without being hurt.
Lee: What are you doing!
Y/n: Helping you, I'll keep them back while you pry off the Sewer cover.
Lee reluctantly agrees and as he pried off the cover I took down around three walkers, as I got done with the Last he finally got off the Cover and He and I jump down the hole.

THE ENCOUNTER
One day in 2022, a mysterious Alien Entity arrives in Melbourne, Australia. What is their purpose of coming here? How will our world react to their arrival? The story follows the footsteps of Jack Geralt – a Royal Australian Regiment veteran who, along with his friends, is recalled into active duty in response to this event. P.S #1: Because this is my first time I write and post my novel here, I will wait for your reviews before posting more chapters. Whether you like it or not, I still hope you enjoy reading my novel. P.S #2: I am sure you noticed that the Cover Art is not mine. I simply chose from my collection of favorite Concept Arts. If whoever designed this art sees this, I thank you very much. Since I am doing everything myself and have to alternate between my work and writing, this is the best I could do. P.S#3: If there are any inconsistencies with what you know (for example, location’s names, recent world events and properties), please remember: This Story takes place in a fictional and alternate reality.

Dip$h!+s in Space
An eccentric comedy novel (that thinks it's a TV show) about space, and the Dipsh!+s that end up stranded in it. This hyper-self-aware comedy of stupid proportions, centers around Captain William T Lawg (no relation) and his adventures as a guy who managed to afford a refitted soft-top ice-cream truck, in space. Explore the universe with his trusty crew of valiant randos. Marley, the tech-bro, stoner spacebunny, who just wants to get away from his home world and the bullies it harbors. Duffy, the plump and sassy female mechanic, who has had every job in existence totaling far more years than possible. Roy, the frigging fabulous, flamboyant android, and former spy…or possibly current spy. (dun dun, daaaa!) And lastly, but certainly leastly, that other chick the captain keeps trying to bang. Ride with the crew of the notorious Tast-E-Chill, to a world of wonder that a lot of other space travelers have already been before, but probably not Lawg, so it's still exciting. This satirical joke on itself and every sci-fi trope ever to exist, will be sure to either thrill you or disappoint you, because COMEDY…IS…SUBJECTIVE! With a crew of 3-10 and an IQ of also probably 3-10, The captain putters along to uncharted lands, where history, loot, drama, innuendos of the sexual verity, and various Technicolor hoes shall surely be waiting, usually with some form of trap. Each season brings new and interesting crewmen, like: Menace: the adorable genderless frog-child-thing with the heart of gold and the dialogue vocabulary of a slightly trained parrot. Greg: the 8 foot tall, ancient, thermonuclear, semi-retired alien overlord who just wants to prove he still has a purpose…and also to rule the galaxy. Izzy: a 3rd generation, age-reversed reboot, accidental clone of her own mother/sister/older self, who happens to be Greg's daughter-in-law…and much, much more. Prepare yourself for shallow adventure, moderately-to high offensive dialogue, and overwhelmingly childish scenarios. Tag along as the crew battles, fierce enemies, lack of food and survival tape, and occasionally their own incompetence. Teen Romance, current politics, subtlety, dignity, this sucker has none of those, and it darn well knows it. Raise the sails and grab the rails as a bunch of dipsh!+s find themselves...IN SPACE. (Roll dramatic tapering credits, to royalty free trumpet music)

Luster
Growing up with her recently deceased mother’s addiction and her own struggles with gender identity, June Fujiwara was not a nice person. Gaining powers from nearly being murdered didn’t change that, and neither did becoming a mercenary to fund her transition. It took horrific manipulation, the resulting trauma, and the family that helped her through it all. Luster is a derivative work based on Worm by Wildbow (John C. McCrae) that begins prior to Worm and although it doesn't show straight away, the story is very AU.
