After I promised Clem I immediately turned to look at Ben and when we met eyes he was terrified, without a second I swept his feet out from under him and put a knife to the his throat. This shocked everyone who had seen including Kenny because I was never the violent type.

Carley: Honey, Calm down.

Y/n: I should kill you right now!

I said to Ben.

Lee: Come on bud, you don't want to do this.

Ben was terrified of me and he remember how I was back on the train, how I looked.

Y/n: You left us to die, more importantly you left Clem!

Christa: Y/n, sweetie calm down...

Y/n: If I wasn't there she could've died or at least been hurt! In my opinion I should do us all a favor and make you into walker food!

Ben: N-No please, I'm sorry!

Y/n: Sorry doesn't cut it, unlike my knife.

As I said that I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and when I looked back I saw...Clementine.

Clem: Please don't Y/n! He's our friend.

I was still holding the knife to his neck but I eased of a bit and everyone noticed.

Y/n: But he left us, He left you t-

Clem: He was just scared, please don't, for me.

She gave me those puppy dog eyes I could never resist.

Everyone watched in anticipation of what would happen.

I finally take the knife away from his neck, but I look at him to give him a reminder.

Y/n: The only reason you're still alive is because of Clem and what she means to me but If you ever do anything that puts her at risk again, I'll make what walkers due to humans peaceful compared to the hell I'll unleash upon you, got it?

Ben shook his head really fast, I got up and Clem wrapped her arms around me, as did Carley and Lee.

Clem: Thank you for not killing Ben.

Lee: You were the bigger person, I'm proud of you.

Carley: Good job kid on controlling your anger.

We release from the hug and I walk over to the fence and sit down, Clem comes by and sits down, so I put my head on her lap as she strokes my hair.

Y/n: I'm sorry Clem, I didn't mean to do that...

Clem: I know you were just worried about me, it's okay, and to be honest if the roles were reversed I think I'd act the same.

I tease her a bit.

Y/n: What, You'd unleash your tinyness on Ben.

Clem: Oh haha, dork.

I love to see her smile, it always brightens my day, Y'know like a personal ray of happiness.

Y/n: I'm so lucky to have you as my friend.

Clem: Don't you mean "Best" Friend.

She said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

Y/n: Obviously, your my best friend.

Clem: Well good, You're my best friend too.

As we were talking, Lee came over with a shovel and started to dig into what appears to be a grave for a pet, most likely a dog.

Y/n: What are you doing Lee?

Lee: Just digging for a Collar.

Y/n: What is it?

Lee: Whatever it is, it's been here a while.

Clementine: Ew, I can smell it from here. Gross!

Christa: Clementine, Y/n, come sit with me and Omid, let Lee work.

We got up from our spot but instead if going to Christa I went to Carley.

Y/n: Hey Carley

Carley: Hey kiddo, how are ya?

Y/n: I'm fine but I wanted to talk to you, so how are you and Lee.

Carley: Amazing, I can't believe his ex-wife cheated.

Y/n: I know, Lee deserved better and he ended up with the best woman around.

Carley: Aw, thanks kiddo, I bet you'll be a real smooth talker when you get older but seems like you're already taken.

Carley said with grin as she pointed at Clem, but unnoticeably.

I got flustered and pulled her hand down.

Y/n: C-Carley, you know we're just friends.

Carley: I know but I also know you love her.

Y/n: Of course I do, with all my heart but now just isn't the best time considering we're only 8 and 9.

Carley: So you're telling me that if she asked you, you'd say no?

Y/n: What! Of course I'd say yes.

Carley: Well, look, you just think about what it is you like about her and try to express your feelings.

Y/n: I know...

Carley gave me a hug.

Carley: Good.

Then as we got done with our hug, Lee pulled the dead dogs corpse out of the ground and got the collar off of it. He then went up to the door and it unlocked the doggy door but he was too small and then Ben was about to try until Clem went in through the doggy door.

Lee: Clem! Are you okay? Say something!

Clementine opens the door.

Clementine: (raises hands) Ta-da!

I gave Clem a high five and she laughed.

Y/n: Good job, Clem one, Locked door zero.

Clem shoved me playfully.

Lee: Good work, Clem. But don't go shooting off like that without asking first, okay?

Clem: I was just trying to help.

Lee: I know. And you did good. You just had me worried there for a minute.

Lee gently warned Clem.

I walked over to her as we went inside with the others.

Y/n: No matter what anyone says, you did good Clemmy.

Clem smiled and pulled me into a hug as we walked around in the house.

We sat by each other on the couch that was in the living room, and this time she laid her head on my lap as she looked up at me.

I Chuckled and I poked her nose, which made her giggle.

Clem: Y/n, why did you poke my nose?

Y/n: I didn't poke your nose, I booped your snoot.

She just rolled over and acted like she was pouting so I decided to tease her a little.

Y/n: Well if Clem's gonna be so pouty, I guess I should get up.

As I acted like I was about to get up she turned to me.

Clem: No, you stay mister.

Y/n: Yes ma'am.

She giggled and during all of this Lee and the others started to Check the house, Lee and Carley went together. Though they probably just wanted some alone time so it's cool you know right.
