《The Sun Dragon》Death of the Usurper

"Word from the capital." Aaron announced, entering the common room of the Martell quarters. Oberyn entered as well, his new squire Arya hot on his heels.
He had visited the capital, and had taken Arya Stark as his squire. Along with Gendry, whom he recognized as a Baratheon bastard.
Gendry was currently left with one of the blacksmiths in Sunspear.
"What is it?" Sarella asked.
Eliana Sand and Obella Sand looked up at Aaron from where they had been playing with Elia and Aeryn.
"The Usurper is dead." Aaron said. "Joffrey has executed Eddard Stark, while both Stannis and Renly have crowned themselves king. The North is declaring independence as well. They are calling Robb Stark the new King in the North."
"They'll need allies to stay independent." Tyene mused.
"Well, we all knew Westeros was on the verge of war." Nymeria said. "Robert being alive was the only slowing it down."
"His reign was the calm before the storm." Arianne added.
"Well, know the storm is here." Jacaerys said.
"This is the best time to take the Iron Throne." Visenya said. "The Game's board has been messed up, we need to make allies before the lines are drawn again."
"Aaron, get as many troops as you can get and go for the Stormlands with Jacaerys. Kill Renly if you need to, but take Storm's End." the Golden Dragon said. "Take Nightreaver as well."
The Dragon of the Desert snapped her fingers, destroying the illusions on the four she dragons.
Aaron nodded and Jacaerys left the room with him, Nightreaver following them.
"I'll go meet the Young Wolf." she said.
"I'll come with you." Arya said.
"Very well then." Visenya nodded. "Send word to the Tyrells, Tyene. Tell them to call their banners.. for House Targaryen. The Iron Throne is mine."
"Let the Targaryen restoration begin." Arianne cheered.
"I have a question." Arya said. "How will we get too Robb? It will take us days, if not weeks or months."
The Sun Dragon smiled. "Ever heard of portals, Arya Stark?"

The Good Crash: An Oral History of the Post-Scarcity Collapse
"Don't we all feel, deep down, that we deserve the apocalypse?" APRIL, 2028—Global capitalism has collapsed. America has sealed itself off from the outside world, and inside its borders, a revolution rages. All it took was one incredible little machine. That machine turned into two, then four, then eight... like a virus, the replicators spread. As a work of oral history, The Good Crash features over 50 interviews with key witnesses to the events of 2027. The text is rendered in the words used by the interviewees themselves, with light editing for clarity and concision. As such, the book contains language and themes that are not appropriate for children.By capturing the voices to the people at the very root of the revolution, journalist and historian R. Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.

Cowboys and Wizards
Currently in queue: Episode 12 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Wednesday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. Cowboys and Wizards is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his crappy smartphone, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.
