《The Sun Dragon》The Wedding

"Are you ready?" Mellario asked her niece.
"I am." Visenya said.
Jacaerys started to officially court her, and the Martells nor Dorne opposed.
Their union would unite House Blackfyre and House Targaryen, and Jacaerys would try and usurp her position as the ruling Queen when Visenya reclaimed the Iron Throne.
Now they would be wedding today.
Visenya nor back in past life, Victoria, had jitters when it came to love. Victoria had ever gotten married, killed defending her daughter she made 'birthed' through a magic ritual.
So this would be her first time in both lives getting married.
Doran and oberon were hell bent to make sure nothing went wrong. Only the best of the best was good enough for the wedding... and that included her dress.
The purest shade of white silk made up the dress from Yi Ti, and it exposed the tops of her breasts and collarbones. The sleeves stopped at her elbows, where fingerless white gloves that reminded her of spiderwebs covered her hands, and the back went down into a sharp V to the small of her back, covered with a lace mesh.
Rubies decorated the skirt to make the three headed dragon of House Targaryen, and she wore a ruby necklace as well. On the bodice was rubies decorating in the patterns of flames, and she wore white sandals on her feet.
Her white-gold hair was up in a complicated braid, the rest flowing down her back.
There would be no maiden cloak but a white veil. Jacaerys would becoming Prince Jacaerys Blackfyre Targaryen after all.
"It is a beautiful gown." Arianne said. She was garbed in a turquoise and gold gown. "Anything else?"
She had married Daemon Sand, now Daemon Allyrion Martell, three years ago, and had a baby girl named Jessica.

"Tell our dear cousins to save me from the bedding ceremony." the Dragon of the Desert said.
Arianne nodded and slipped out of the room. Mellario put the veil on her niece as Oberyn opened the door.
"You look beautiful." Oberyn said, seeing his Targaryen niece dressed up in her wedding gown. Since Rhaegar was dead, her uncle would be escorting her down the aisle. "I wish your mother was here to see you."
(She remembered feeling through her magic, her death magic, three lives snuffing out. Elia, Rhaenyra, and Aegon, gone and dead dead dead.)
Visenya breathed in deeply, recollecting her magic. "So do I." she whispered.
Oberyn offered her his arm, and she took it, leaving the room.
The sept in Sunspear is very different to the Great Sept of Baelor, which she had visited back in King's Landing for the sermons. Like all septs of course, it's seven-sided, and icons of the Seven stand at each wall.
And like the Sept of Baelor, it is flooded with sunlight from the huge windows. But there the similarities end.
While the Great Sept of Baelor had great stone statues of the Seven frozen in austere majesty, huge and towering above the minute humans at their feet, the Dornish have made their gods alive.
The Seven here are carved of wood, and small enough that Visenya could see their faces without having to crane her neck until it aches.
They stand still in mid-motion, with open hands and warm eyes that give her some obscure comfort. Her mother grew up praying to these gods with their kind eyes, and she felt as though they recognise her somehow.
With typical Dornish attitude, the old Rhoynar who first adopted the new faith gave the seven the faces of their old gods, and the tradition has continued all through the centuries.

Each and every one of the Seven had been given aspects of one or more of the old Rhoynish gods of her mother's people, even the Stranger.
And today, the Sept was packed with Dornish lords coming to see the last child of the beloved Princess Elia, married.
Jacaerys stood in a doublet of red and black, hair combed back but still slight spiky, the silver-gold color shimmering softly in the light. His deep violet eyes met her own amethyst purple, and they both smiled.
She was sure he could see her smile under her veil.
Both of them tuned out the Septon's long speech, barely listening. After the speech ended, the septon made the seven-pointed star sign between Jacaerys and Visenya.
"You may unveil the bride." the Septon chocked out. After all, it would be Jacaerys taking the Targaryen name, not Visenya taking the Blackfyre name.
The Black Knight unveiled the Golden Dragon, taking off the veil.
"My lords, my ladies, we stand here in the sight of gods and men to witness the union of man and wife. One flesh, one heart, one soul, now and forever." the Septon declared.
The couple hold hands as they stand side by side, and the septon wraps a crimson ribbon about their joined hands. "Let it be known that Princess Visenya of House Targaryen and Martell and Prince Jacaerys of House Blackfyre are one heart, one flesh, one soul. Cursed be he who would seek to tear them asunder."
He wraps it around their hands for the final time and announces, "In the sight of the Seven, I hereby seal these two souls, binding them as one for eternity."
Then he unravels it, and prompts them to say their vows.
"Father, Warrior, Smith. Mother, Maiden, Crone. Stranger." Jacaerys smiles, looking carefree as he says the words to his bride, and hears back them from her. "I am hers and she is mine, from this day, until the end of my days."
They pause, and then he proclaims the final part of the ceremony in a clear voice. "With this kiss, I pledge my love."
Then the Black Dragon dramatically gave the Sun Dragon a kiss dip, earning whistles and laugher for the crowd.
"Love you Vis." he whispered in her ear once he stopped.
"Jacaerys fucking Targaryen—"
The deep violet eyed prince smirked and picked her up bridle style, laughing with his bride as she demanded to be set down, laughing while she said those words.
They were happy. And nothing would ruin their wedding day.

Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com. This piece of work, after all, is only a first draft and by no means an end product by an amateur (beginner) writer. Mistakes are bound to happen. With that said, I will strive to improve as I write. Feel free to point out errors and inconsistencies as you read. I thank you for your time. Finally, I pledge to not rewrite this novel until the first draft is completed.
