Damon spent his day with his IT people. They had last been seen driving out of down. All three of them much to his annoyance.

Meanwhile Alesandro was using some of his contacts to find out if they had seen them. After talking to the prison yesterday, they had confirmed it was Henry who had impersonated him. They had been found not guilty when it came to a prison sentence, instead they had to pay quite a big fine.

Alesandro found this odd so he was also checking with his contacts of they knew Alice and Henry to have any contacts.

Alesandro was pissed that they had passed Henry of as himself but on the positive side, Alice knew tons about him but he knew just as much about her. He knew everything there was to know down to her favourite places to go.

His family was well known and so Alice and Henry were on borrowed time, someone would spot them and report them to the family.

On the plus side, they no longer had to go to America to deal with Alice and Henry. They wouldn't be letting them leave the country so they were certain they would deal with them here.

While they worked, Mason, Dante and Matteo usually spent their Sundays relaxing, no one ever did much on the Sunday.

However today was different.

Mason said he had to go to work

Dante was meeting friends.

Matteo had to pick up some school books in town

All three were lies.

The three of them found themselves at the café in the late afternoon. They expected to be alone so they were all shocked when they saw each other.

"What are you both doing here" Mason said.

"Well I just wanted to check on Emilia" Dante said.

"Me too" Matteo said.

Mason rolled his eyes, they had all ended up in the same place.

"It's not like we made it obvious, they have already been out a few hours now " Dante said.

He managed to spot Emilia inside with all of her friends.

"Well they look to be having fun. Let's just go" Mason said.

Matteo and Dante glanced at their sister and friends again. They were talking, even Emilia and having fun.

They both agreed with mason and followed Mason as he led them away.

Mason suddenly stopped which caused Dante and Matteo to look at him with a curious expression.

"Black car, tinted windows, on my left" Mason said.

Dante and Matteo slowly looked over and saw the car.

"What do we do"

Mason memorized the number plate. "We do nothing. You two wait here, I'm going to check it out" he said.

"But you need back up" Matteo protested.

"You both are not old enough. Now you will both wait here. If something happens, your first priority is Emilia, do not even think about helping me"

Matteo and Dante shared a look but nodded. They wouldn't leave their brother if something happened.

Mason approached the car his hand on his holster hidden beneath his jacket.

The car seemed to spot him and sped off as soon as he drew his gun. He didn't get a good look but he was certain whoever it was, wasn't Alice or Henry.

He made a mental note to have Damon check it out.

"We can't leave now" Dante said.

"One minute" Mason took out his phone and messaged Damon first

Then he messaged Emilia

Emilia saw the message. She didn't know what to reply. Part of her was tired of socialising but the other part wanted to stay out longer.

"We should go to Rachel's party tonight" Hailey suddenly said.

That made Emilia's decision for her.

When her friends agreed, she replied "I think I'm going to go home, I don't think I'll be much fun at a party anyway"

Antonio who hadn't said whether he was going yet also replied "yeah I have a family meal tonight too"

"Oh okay well maybe next time you can join us" Hailey replied respecting their decision.

"Yeah of course " Antonio said, Emilia nodded in agreement.

She then messaged Mason

Mason smiled reading this.

Emilia replied giving him the address.

Mason then turned to his brothers "I'm going to go pick her up, you both go home, she doesn't need to know we came here" he said.

Dante and Matteo reluctantly walked away.

Mason didn't go straight away, he hung around the street for a bit. Then he got himself a coffee from a cafe across the street

20 minutes later he left the cafe and went across the road. He walked into the cafe and silently judged her friends. He had never met them before and he was intrigued.

"Hi" Mason said approaching them.

His focus went straight to the boy who he suspected was Antonio. He was judging him. "You're here" Emilia exclaimed.

"I am" he smiled then turned to her friends.

"We haven't met, I'm Mason, her brother" he said with a smile.

After introductions, Mason turned back to Emilia "are you ready to go if not i can always give you more time" he said.

"No it's okay, it's getting late anyway" it wasn't getting late but it was already 4pm, she had been out since 11ish.

"Great. Well it was nice meeting you all, come on Emilia"

Not much was spoken on the way back and it concerned Mason.

"Are you okay Emilia" he asked once they got back.

"Of course I am, why wouldn't I be. I've had a good day with my friends" she said a little to enthusiastic for his liking. She got out the car and went inside with Mason following behind.

Emilia wasn't okay, she rarely was but right now she felt guilty for feeling this way, she was with her friends, she was having fun and yet there was still that thought at the back of her mind...well it did dissapear when it was just her and Antonio.

"Is Damon in" she asked, he and Alesandro knew the most about her so it was only right to go to them.

"I don't think so. Why don't we watch a movie until he comes back though" Mason replied. He saw leaving her on her own wasn't a good idea.

"Sure"

Matteo and Dante joined them with snacks, unfortunately Matteo didn't eat any of the snacks. Mason didn't say anything but he decided to talk to his youngest brother later.

The four siblings watched the movie peacefully. Sometimes Dante and Emilia would playfully mock each other which included throwing there snacks at each other. Of course Mason quickly put a stop to that. Emilia Dante and even Matteo had then teamed up and threw a bunch of snacks at Mason. Mason had not been happy and he swore to get revenge.

When things calmed down again, Emilia rested against Mason who still had a frown on his face but ot eventually faded.

Emilia was practically laid on Mason by the time Alesandro and Damon walked in.

"I see you kids had fun" Alesandro commented looking at the mess on the floor.

"It was mason" Dante and Emilia said at the same time.

Mason just glared at Emilia and gently pushed her off, she landed on the floor.

Dante and Matteo laughed whilst mason , Damon and Alesandro smiled.

"He pushed me Damon" Emilia said.

Damon chuckled.

"It's not funny"

"Of course it's not funny. Come here darling" he said in a serious tone but it was obvious he was trying not to laugh.

Emilia got up and went to him. He pulled her into a hug "are you hurt, only a serious anwser" he asked.

Emilia shook her head "good, what are we watching" he asked and sat on the sofa next to mason.

Alesandro had also sat down but he had chosen the sofa with Dante and Matteo on.

They had started a new film just before Alesandro and Damon came back so once mason said what they watching and gave a little summary of what had happened so far, they continued to watch it.

Emilia was now next to Damon.

During the middle of the film Damon decided to speak "did you have fun at work today" he whispered to Mason who gulped.

Of course Damon knew.

Damon had tracked down the car and decided to look on the street cameras, of course he wasn't happy when he saw all of his brothers watching Emilia from a distance.

Damon switched to Italian, Emilia was half asleep by now so she paid no attention to them anyway.

He added smiling down at her.

The boys didn't argue despite the car incident they knew what they did was wrong.

"Shes half asleep, I'm going to take her to her room" Damon said standing up.

Mason stood up to "I'll come".

Damon looked at Mason with an emotionless expression as he tried to work out what mason wanted but nodded once he saw mason wanted to talk about something.

Damon carried a half asleep Emilia up to her room with mason walking by his side. They made conversation about nothing in particular.

As soon as Damon and Mason left Emilia's room with Emilia no longer with them the atmosphere changed.

"Ok what's happened" Damon asked.

"Why would you think somethings happened" Mason asked.

"You wanted to come with me clearly you wanted to talk"

"Maybe I just wanted to put my little sister to bed"

"If that was the case you would have said and you would definitely not have nervously hovered at the door whilst I put her to bed. So I'll ask again what's happened"

"Oh it's nothing really she was just asking for you earlier"

"Why"

Mason sighed "ok so maybe it isn't nothing, I might be overthinking things but I'm certain her mental health is much worse"

"It is" Damon said looking at the door.

"You know already? Why didn't you tell me"

"It's not something she asked me to tell you. Besides dad and I have it under control. Did she say anything concerning"

"No but she wasn't speaking much"

Damon nodded "I'll speak to her tommorow about it. I have a feeling it's going to get alot worse now that Alice and Henry are in the country "

"Okay good. There's another thing too"

"Yeah?"

"I noticed Matteo never had any of the snacks and hes usually the first to get them. I know you and dad are on top of it but I thought I'd just let you know. I was thinking maybe tommorow Dante could take Emilia and I could take Matteo and try get him to eat on the way"

Damon nodded "that's a good idea, it's not like he's stopped eating, he will eat if you make him but I don't think it's healthy for us to be forcing him to eat that's why we have been letting him himself. He's struggling too, we really need to be there for dad too"

"What's wrong with dad" Mason asked with worry.

"Nothing is wrong, he's just got alot on his plate, Emilia is going through stuff, Matteo has a eating disorder, Alexia is missing and with Henry and Alice. He also has work and a ton of meetings, he's got a lot going on" Damon explained.

"I see your point. What about Dante?"

"What's wrong with Dante" Damon asked.

"Nothing, I know we have to prioritize Emilia and Matteo but I think we should also check in with Dante just in case"

Damon nodded "Agreed, I'll check on him later on"

"Ok good. And what about you Damon? Are you okay?"

"I'm okay just stressed. I want them found. The car wasn't any good, it was a stolen car, the person who stole it decided to crash it on one of the little roads with no cameras so we have no leads"

"I'm sure you will find something. Alice knows this place sure but she has no idea what you are capable of"

Damon nodded "and what about you, are you okay"

"Yeah I'm okay, just the whole situation is frustrating"

"We'll catch them, sadly dad wants to be the one to end Henry but we have Alice"

"I look forward to it"
