Emilia laid on one sofa watching TV whilst Damon was sat on the other sofa watching TV and working.

Dante and Matteo walked in looking pissed but their mood changed when they saw Emilia.

"What are we watching" Matteo said sitting down on the sofa Damon was on.

"Rapunzel"

"God anyone would think you were a baby" Dante said but also sat down, he chose to knock her legs onto the floor and sit down where she had previously had her legs.

"Why" she asked.

"It's a childish movie that's why"

"In case you didn't know, I didn't have a childhood"

"Surely you have seen movies though"

Damon looked up from his work, curious of the anwser but he already knew it since she had mentioned she didn't have a proper childhood.

"I've seen bits" she mumbled which was true she had seen bits of movies if Lexi was watching one whilst she was cleaning.

"Well it's good to do stuff kids your age do you know" Dante said just as Mason came in.

"What are we discussing" he asked sitting on the lounge chair.

"Apparently I don't do enough stuff my age " Emilia said.

"Look I'm not trying to be mean but the process of healing needs to be you trying new things"

Emilia nodded, she was going to ask Alesandro tommorow but earlier Antonio had invited her out once they were both ungrounded.

"So does that mean I can go out with Antonio"

"Out like a date" Matteo asked snickering at Dante's expression. He didn't expect that.

Emilia decided to mess with them. They were both in agreement it was just as friends but Dante's expression was too funny not to mess with.

"Yes as a date" Emilia lied.

"Damon..." Dante said.

"What? I don't see the big deal. She's 16, she will be going on plenty more dates and quite frankly as long as he doesn't hurt her it's none of our business" Damon said getting back to his work. He didnt care who her friends were or who she went out with just as long as she didn't get hurt.

"But what if they kiss" Dante said his face contourted into a look of disgust.

"Then they kiss. Stop making it a big deal. Emilia you will need to tell us when though, don't just dissapear off out"

"But what if..." Dante tried.

"No. We are not having this conversation. It is Emilia's life and we are not going to be apart of that side of her life....unless they hurt her of course " he said closing the discussion.

"Can't we at least have a word with him tommorow " Matteo asked.

"No. You will not interfere with her life. Now all of you out if you're not watching TV" he said and no more questions were asked but no one left.

Damon may have been the protective type but at the same time he couldn't care less who she hung out with. He was happy that she was social and not a recluse. He would never interfere with that part of her life unless they hurt her, then they were as good as dead.

Today being the exception, there was something off about that boy. He didn't like the boy one bit.

The film was almost over when Alesandro walked in followed by Adrian, Zach and Xavier.

"Look whos arrived" Alesandro said.

They were all then forced to formally great their uncle and cousins.

"I'm going to get started on dinner, Damon come show me where you put everything" Alesandro said.

Damon knew his father knew where everything was so he figured he wanted something else. He followed his dad and uncle to the kitchen.

"What is it" he asked looking at their grave faces.

"Zach's my son, it doesn't matter if he isn't biologically mine, he's still mins" Adrian said with a dark expression.

"Yes and all you need to do is say the word and I'll get rid of his mum" Damon said.

"Do it "

It shocked Damon slightly but he nodded. "Don't kill her though. He would never forgive me, just make her dissapear from his life"

"Okay ill have it done" Damon agreed.

"Also Adrian is moving back to Italy, so keep him updated"

"Yes it was a struggle to decide where abouts to move but we figured this area would be best as it's close to you guys and to mum and dad, Zach will be attending school with the kids"

"Well I'm sure Dante and Matteo will look out for him"

"I just hope he doesn't get into as many fights" Adrian said.

"I'm sure he will be just fine...I think it might do Emilia good too, they might open up to each other" Damon said.

"Yeah how was she today" Alesandro asked.

"Really good actually, she spoke whilst out. She's getting better. I'm unable to stay off work tommorow but I'm going to see if mason can take her with him, I think he's just at the shop tommorow " Damon said.

"Yeah it might be best, I have back to back meetings again " Alesandro agreed.

"Why can't she go to school" Adrian asked.

"2 day suspension for hitting a student, apparently she claims it was her fault but I don't believe it however all I have is her word so she's grounded " Damon summed up.

"Her first suspension, you will have lots more no doubt. Hasn't Dante been suspended like 30 times this school year" Adrian said.

"Yes well he's doing better now, it's not something we encourage. Anyway I'm going to start on dinner now" Alesandro replied.

"I'll get back to work" Damon said and left.

Matteo, Zach and Dante were gone from the room when he got back. Mason and Xavier were sat on the sofa now with Emilia asleep against mason.

Damon quietly walked in and grabbed a blanket from the other side of the room and covered her with it. "So you talked to my dad" Xavier said.

"Yes I'll handle it"

"Good, he doesn't need her in his life, he purposely made himself sick a few weeks ago just so he could get out of going. It's not like we would force him to go but he's convinced himself if he doesn't have a genuine reason not to go he's a bad person" Xavier said, he worried about his brother all the time.

"Well that's just fucked up, can I help Damon" Mason said.

"No, I have some people in Spain now, they will sort her" Damon said, if they were killing her that would be entirely different.

"What happened to your sister" Xavier asked changing the topic.

"She's fine just tired" Damon said.

"No the other one"

Damon and Mason shared a dark look. A shiver ran down Xavier's spine when he saw the look his cousins shared.

"You get to come with me tommorow Lia, isn't that exciting"

"Go away" Emilia whispered, his voice was too cheery considering she had just woken.

Mason laughed "come on Lia, you should be excited. Work with me is fun"

They seemed to have an inside joke or something because Emilia suddenly smiled and sat up. "Tommorow?"

He nodded "yes tommorow "

Damon rolled his eyes at this "just don't go turning her into a miniature Dante, he did get it from you"

Damon had always been a straight A+ kid with lots of extra curricular activities, he excelled in sports and was the captain of the basketball and football team, he didn't get into much trouble but he was also a popular kid.

Mason on the other hand was a A kid with extra curricular activities, including the captain of the football team after a few years. However he was also known to get into trouble. He was a mischievous child and although he had almost grown fully out of it, he hadn't hesitated to teach Dante and Matteo everything he knew.

"No promises, I love having mini mes"

"Yeah right, you are just boring now, a goody two shoes" Damon said.

"Shush, I can be both" Mason said, Damon knew this to be true, he had witnessed it.

Mason used to be exactly like Dante until he left school. He grew up alot thrn but every now and then his dark side would come back.

"Dinner is ready" Alesandro called after some time.

Everyone gathered in the dining room and ate, the atmosphere was relaxed and more pleasant. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the company.

Xavier, Mason and Damon mostly spoke to each other.

Adrian and Alesandro spoke mostly to each other

The others spoke amongs themselves mostly.

All in all everyone had a pleasant night.
