Alesandro knocked on the door he presumed Emilia to be. His mother came out of the room.

"Oh son" Rose engulfed her son in a hug.

He hugged her back "I didn't expect today to end quite like this" he muttered.

"Neither did I but its done now, you need to consider there might be some truth in Lexi's words though"

Alesandro pulled away from his mother "mai bambina is not dangerous, mentally ill and she does not hurt herself and blame others"

"I meant that there will be alot of emotional damage and trauma from everything, but yes it wouldn't hurt to check into her past"

Alesandro had never been one to give his mother a hard time, he respected her to much but at the moment, he simply ignored her knocked on the door and this time Ellie anwsered. She smiled but it was a sad smile "can I see her" he asked.

"Yeah she's just finished but Alesandro she's terrified right now so please be careful" Ellie was worried for the poor girl in the other room.

They had come for a few days so luckily they had packed and Ellie always packed too much. So right now she was in a pair of leggings which were too big and one of her T-shirts which was also way to big. Emilia was tiny for her age and still quite malnourished, anything she wore unless it was her own clothes would always be too big.

Alesandro nodded and entered the room.

Emilia was sat wrapped up in the duvet on the bed.

"Hello Emilia" he carefully said.

"Hi" Emilia whispered.

Alesandro smiled, she was adorable. "Can I come sit with you" he asked.

"are you sure you want to do that" Emilia asked.

"And why wouldn't I want to" Alesandro asked.

"Because I'm dangerous and violent and hurt others for my own gain"

"Oh really? Tell me sweetheart what have you done that's dangerous or in anyway harmed others"

"Well um I harmed damons ego earlier, I told him he couldn't do anything apart from stalk his family. I don't think he liked that"

Alesandro laughed "you're so adorable Mia bambina but I mean physically, like attacking someone" she was too inoccent for her own good. He couldn't imagine what dangerous would be like on her, he wouldnt be able to take her seriously.

"Well there was this one time " Emilia's eyes suddenly found the floor very interesting.

"Oh yeah? Do you want to talk about it" Alesandro asked wanting to know who had hurt his daughter so he could put a bullet between their eyes.

"It happened ages ago, I don't remember much" Emilia started, she was tired of holding everything in, they knew about the abuse now it was out, why not share more dark secrets.

Alesandro carefully sat on the bed next to her and Emilia found herself leaning on him with duvet still wrapped around her.

"There was this creepy man"

Alesandros eyes widened. No. No. No.

He said nothing but he hoped it didn't go further than creepy. Who was he kidding, she wouldn't have brought it up if it didn't.

"He wasn't very nice, he was Henry's friend, Henry um he couldn't afford his um drugs"

Alesandro tightened his grip on her.

He didn't like where this story was going.

"So he er gave him me"

Yeah Alesandro was going to straight up murder Henry and this man she was talking about.

"Well he tried to do stuff, so I um I kinda hit him over the head with a lamp and he was unconcious but I had to get out and I didn't have much time so I kinda used the rope he tied me up with to tie him up so I had more time"

Alesandro breathed a sigh of relief. "So he didn't you know" he asked for certain. Emilia shook her head "I got away"

"And I am so proud of you Emilia, he was the dangerous one, you are allowed to hurt anyone who is a danger to you without being considered violent or dangerous. That situation you was in shouldn't have happened, I am so so sorry I couldn't protect you but I am so fucking proud of how you handled yourself in that situation. You are amazing Emilia. I must ask though, how old were you"

Emilia hugged him tightly, it was a big compliment coming from him. She liked knowing he was proud of her too.

"Um 14" she eventually whispered.

"Okay Emilia thank you for telling me this" he came off as a little cold but that's only because he was planning the murder of this man out in his head in of detail

There was no argueing, Damon was a monster but this man, Alesandro would torture him just as bad as Damon could. Maybe worse in ways, Damon easily got bored and killed them after a few weeks but Alesandro could torture for months if he truly wanted too, and he wanted to.

"So what Lexi said about it being my fault, that I'm mentally unstable"

"Yeah that's a load of shit but if it was even remotely true I wouldn't care, I mean you would fit right in"

Emilia smiled "it's not true I promise I was only violent to him and Henry when I was younger, I fought back every time he hit me"

"That my girl" Alesandro said proudly.

There was a moment of silence, the two of them holding each other for comfort.

"Does Damon hate me" Emilia finally asked.

"What? No! He could never hate you, he litterally adores you" Alesandro exclaimed.

"But the look he gave me after she said everything, maybe he believes her, even Dante couldn't look at me. Maybe they both hate me. What if they don't want me around anymore "

"Oh sweetheart, no. They love you so much and they never would want rid you of you" Alesandro said hugging his daughter extra tight.

"Why couldn't he look at me though, why didn't he anwser me, why did he glare at me."

"He is upset sweetheart but I promise he doesn't hate you. Ill speak to him and tell him how you feel."

"No!"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want him to see me as needy or clingy and I don't want him to talk to me just because you told him too"

"Very well I won't tell him but sweetheart you are not needy or clingy and you never could be"

"I am look at me now, god I'm sorry" Emilia said realising how she was probably hugging him to much, he was probably wanting to leave.

"Just let's hug a little longer...if it's okay with you"

"You're okay with that?" Emilia asked.

"Always"

Emilia was back in his arms in seconds.

"Emilia I love you so much, please never not come to me in fear I won't be okay with it because I would always accept a hug from you"

Emilia sighed "I asked Damon once, he said you might know" she was hesitant to ask but needed to know.

"What is it"

"Why did she leave"

Alesandro tensed at this. "Maybe this is a story for another time bambina" he said not wanting to have this conversation with her.

"Do you know why she took me and not just Lexi. Actually can you tell me anything" Emilia tried another question.

"Bambina you were never meant to be born, however when you were it was a shock but we were only prepared for one child, your mother wanted nothing to do with you but that didn't matter because I took care of you. You were my angel, however when your mother left and took you I always believed it was too make me suffer"

"Why wasn't I meant to be born" Emilia asked.

"You never showed up on the ultrasound, I think you knew and hid yourself away just to suprise us" Alesandro explained.

"But I'm so glad you were born, god can you imagine if I had just the boys, my life would be filled with them" Alesandro said in disgust.

"Stupid boys" he added.

"Isn't that a little mean" Emilia asked but she was smiling at how easy he insulted them.

"Isn't calling Damon a stalker mean " Alesandro countered.

"He started it " Emilia said.

Alesandro chuckled "see he's just stupid isn't he "

Emilia nodded with a smile. Alesandro had a way of making her feel loved and turning the deep conversations amusing yet they were still important to her.

Time past again, this time Alesandro was first to speak "we really should get up, we need to be heading home but first a trip to the hospital is needed"

"I'm fine though, nothing is wrong"

"Yes I believe that but your cast is ruined, you need a new one"

"Oh ok"

Alesandro and Emilia finally made their way downstairs, Matteo and Mason were there sat talking to Zach and Xavier.

Zach was the first to rush up to Emilia, since her brothers had their backs to her.

"Can I hug you" he asked.

Emilia nodded.

"Are you feeling better? I'm so sorry I left you. God if I had known what she was like. The things she said? I'm so sorry"

Alesandro looked at his nephew and he knew he needed to get his brother. He quickly sent him a message to come to the living room.

The boy was on the verge of breaking not just because if Emilia but because of his own relationship with his mother. She had maniplated him exactly like Lexi had just done. His mother blamed him, if he hadn't had been naughty, she wouldn't have left him and all that bullshit.

Adrian was quick to enter the room. "Puta" he muttered knowing exactly what was wrong with Zach.

"You know if you want the problem to go away we can make it happen" Alesandro whispered.

"I'll think about it. Zach, Xavier let's leave them to it" Adrian said knowing he needed Zach alone so they could talk

Xavier had been watching in concern, how he wished his dad would let his cousin handle the woman who harmed his little brother.

Xavier and Zach left with Adrian.

"Poor kid" Mason muttered then he turned his full attention to Emilia "how are you doing Lia" he asked.

"I'm okay" Emilia said looking back at the door Zach had left through.

"That's good"

"Yes it is, where is Dante"

"I'm here" Dante said walking in.

"Ok it's getting late, all of you say goodbye and then we will be off"

"What about Damon" Emilia dared ask.

"He's fucking busy" Dante snapped.

"He will come back in the other car later" Alesandro said softly giving Dante a sharp look.

"Okay boys of you go"
