"Are you sure this is a good idea" Mason asked.

It was a Saturday afternoon and they were all about to get ready for the barbeque. It was a perfect day for it, the sun was shining, it was hotter than normal.

"If it isn't we will leave no big deal" Alesandro said. He didn't want to go but he didn't want to disappoint his mum. He had made it clear throughout the day that if Emilia didn't want to go they didn't need too. Emilia didn't want to go but she said she was fine going because she didn't want her brothers and dad to miss out.

That morning they all did different stuff, Damon and Dante had been doing mafia stuff, Damon had made an exception to the rule about no actual mafia stuff until finished school.

Mason had to work but he had brought Emilia along with him because the other night, when he was telling his grandma about how he is going to open another tattoo place, Emilia seemed interested so he invited her to go with him, she nodded much to Damon's horror.

Which made bringing her along even more fun.

Damon had even warned him not to give her a tattoo.

Earlier that morning

"Ok have fun this morning Emilia, and Mason don't you dare give her a tattoo" Damon warned as he was about to leave himself.

"Aw there goes my plan" Mason replied earning him a death glare.

"Chill, I wouldn't dream of doing that to Lia" he said seriously to Damon but then smirked and winked at Emilia.

He hasn't given her a tattoo but he did tell her that he would if she wanted one when she was older.

Alesandro had a long conversation with Matteo who was now feeling much better after he was reassured it wasn't his fault

And Lexi spent the morning reapplying her fake tan.

Now the siblings were back and getting ready for the family BBQ, Rose was desperate for all her sons and their families to come so she had sent their plane to pick them up. It wasnt a long flight but they had decided Leonardo, Ellie and their two sons Enzo and Marco would also stay with them for a week.

They had a massive house so it was pointless for them to go home with plenty rooms available.

The boys mainly wore shirts and shorts or in Matteo and Dante's case a t-shirt and shorts.

Damon may have ditched the suit but he was just as formal in a shirt and shorts.

Emilia chose a floral dress with nude coloured tight.

They were all sat around waiting for Lexi.

She eventually came out wearing a bralette and shorts both items barely covered her. Her face was covered in badly done makeup, she had even drawn her eyebrows on which were way to big, her hair curled and she wore large heels.

"Anyone would think we were going to a strip club" Dante muttered.

"Don't be stupid Dante, the girls there are still way above her league" Damon whispered.

"Enough boys, we are already late. Alexia are you sure you want to heels" Alesandro said.

"Yes they just make the outfit, don't you think"

"It's going to get chilly later at least bring a jacket" Alesandro wasn't one to tell his kids what to wear,he wasn't bothered what they wore and didn't want to be that person but Lexi was dressed in such a way, he had to at least make sure she had a actual top on instead of a red lace bralette.

"Fine but I doubt I'll wear it"

"Just take it" Alesandro said.

"Right we are going in two cars, Damon and I will be driving. Who wants to go with who" Alesandro then told them.

"Actually dad I was thinking, I will take Lexi and you could take Matteo and Emilia, they both need bonding time"

This suprised everyone and upset Emilia. She didn't understand why he would pick Lexi when he always picked her.

Had she annoyed him?

Maybe he was getting tired of her not talking?

Lexi saw how it upset Emilia, she also smiled at the fact Damon had chosen her. She was finally getting her way.

"I'll go with Damon" Dante said.

It hurt even worse that Dante didn't want to go with her.

"Well I'm not getting in a car with you two, I'll go with dad" Mason then said.

"Perfect, let's go" Alesandro said.

Everyone left to go to the garage but as they walked, Damon gently grabbed Emilia stopping her, Alesandro noticed but sensed Damon wanted to talk to her so he left them to talk.

"Hey don't give me that look" Damon said when he saw how sad she looked. Her sadness really was a weakness of his.

"I'm sorry darling, I mean nothing by it" he said feeling guilty.

"It's fine" she whispered, it wasn't fine but she didn't want to come off as needy or anything, she didn't want to seem like Lexi.

"I chose Lexi because I need a word with her, I would much prefer you with me but you remember that bullying she was getting and dad asked me to look into it, well I looked into it and the person doing the bullying believes she deserves it so I need to see what she has done" Damon explained. It was partly the truth. He and Dante were the bullies and they wanted to know things.

"Really "

"Yes really,also I know Matteo wants to spend time with you and what perfect place to do it, in a car where you can't escape his annoying personality " Damon said.

"Okay, can I come back with you though" Emilia felt awful for asking. She didn't like how attached she was either.

"Yes, I'm not letting you go back with them. Oh and Emilia I expect to still be your favourite by the time we reach our grandparents home"

Eventually they all were off. In one car was Alesandro, Mason, Matteo and Emilia, the sensible and calm car with a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was getting along, Emilia was back to using her notebook to talk.

In the other car, Damon had a sinister grin as he continued to drive.

Dante smirked as Damon gave Dante a nod in confirmation meaning they would start to taunt her.

"You will be happy to know we almost have your sisters attacker" Dante said.

Lexi kept a straight face "oh thank god" she said.

Damon and Dante saw no markers of her lying. Maybe they were wrong? If so they were awful brothers. But they had to explore every angle and Emilia had no one who disliked her, and knowing she was abused made Damon even more suspicious of Lexi.

"Yes it's great. Oh Damon do you have a charger my phone might die" Dante said.

"Yes, in the glove compartment" Damon said knowing exactly what else he kept in there.

Dante opened it and pulled out a gun "oops, my bad" he said but waved it around.

They both smirked when they saw Lexi's eyes widened and gulp.

"Put it away Dante"

"Fine" Dante agreed but then he searched in the compartment for a charger, only instead he pulled out a knife "god our brother is a psycho isn't he Lexi, first a gun, now a knife, what next"

He put the gun away but sat playing with the knife.

"Put it away Dante, the knife isn't for you" Damon said increasing his speed now they were on the moterway.

"Who is it for " Dante asked.

"Oh I'm going to use it on the person who hurt Emilia "

"Ooo good idea, it's a bit too sharp though " Dante said.

"Oh yeah that's only one of them, I'll be using some blunt ones too"

The brothers spoke like Lexi wasn't even there.

"It would be helpful if Lexi knew anyone who could have done it, being twins and everything. It would really speed the process along" Damon said looking back at sister.

"Yeah are you sure you don't remember anything, we are trying every angle but can't seem to find the person" Dante said.

Hearing this relaxed her since she thought they had nothing. "I don't know anything" Lexi said.

Damon got annoyed with this anwser and sped up. He kept going faster and faster, increasing his speed way above the speed limit, swerving at the last second when he was close to another car.

Lexi was panicking now "stop you're going to cause an accident" she said.

He just increased the speed in response.

They finally arrived, and Damon's tyres screeched to a stop, he had slowed down after coming off the moterway but he still was going a dangerous speed, even up the driveway, Dante had been encouraging him the entire ride to go faster.

"I suggest you put that jacket on before you get out the car, and if you dare tell dad about this, I wont be happy and do you know what happens when I'm not happy " he said darkly.

"Ooo,ooo, I do, I know" Dante said raising his hand slightly.

Damon was dark and scary, pychotic and even sadistic and Dante was sadistically treating it like it was a game and encouraging Damon.

"You go all psycho when your not happy" Dante said messing with the knife.

Damon snatched the knife of Dante and twisted it in his hand "I suggest you be on your best behaviour today or you might find yourself with a matching cut" he warned then put the knife away.

He got out of the car and further up, was the others, they had arrived not long ago. Although they had seen how fast Damon drove up the driveway, he always drive fast and they had no idea how fast Damon had been going.

"I hope I'm still your favourite darling"

Damon called, purposely out loud so his brothers would know. He wanted them all to know he was her favourite, they could try compete but he would always do anything and everything he could to make sure he remained her favourite.

His voice only held love and was slightly playful. The exact opposite to how he had spoken to Lexi moments ago.

It was scary to see how he could change in a split second. It was as if his anger was never there. Glancing back at his siblings to make sure they were out so he could lock the car, he sent Lexi a glare, which no one saw as he had his back to them. You could tell the anger he had was still there but he chose to ignore it.

"Well darling, you didn't replace me did you"

And his loving self was back when he turned to face the rest of his family, primarily Emilia.

Emilia was about to shake her head when she realised something. She shrugged and went over to Mason and took hold of his hand.

Mason was with Alesandro and Matteo , they were walking to the door when Mason felt Emilia take his hand. He smirked when he looked back and so an annoyed Damon. "You really like messing with him" he whispered. Emilia nodded.

"Brat" Damon called as he followed behind with Dante and Lexi following him.

Emilia let go of Masons hand so she could write.

In capital letters she wrote the following.

STALKER!!

Just as she held it up for him, the front door opened at Rose and Carlos were stood.

Emilia quickly put the notebook down not wanting to get in trouble.

Damons demeanor changed yet again, this time his smile was more forced. He approached Emilia "I'll get you back later you little brat" he whispered his tone held no malicious intentions so Emilia knew he wasn't being serious but then he spoke again in a serious tone "If at any time you want to leave, tell me okay, you are safe here" he continued to whisper so only she would hear. Emilia just nodded, she knew around Damon she was safe.
