《the unwanted twin》chapter 51

Dante wasn't happy not one bit. His theory didn't plan out but he wasn't stopping. He knew it was Lexi who caused that allergic reaction, she knew Emilia had an allergy, but the question was did she know how bad?
A scary thought entered his mind.
Was this her second attempt of getting rid of Em?
He had been the one to carry Emilia to the nurses office, he had seen her struggle to breath. What if she had been alone? What if Sofia wasn't there to get him?
He knew he had to tell Damon but he wanted to figure it out himself first.
No one had a problem with Em at school at least he didn't think they did.
He had gone to the hospital and requested her records, at first they were against it because he wasn't the guardian but then he brought Damon's name into it to one member of the staff who just so happened to work for Damon.
Fortunately for Emilia, the case was still active and because of this they hadn't updated her records to say signs of abuse , they had to wait until the police had finished as it was a sensative investigation.
Dante was pissed when he saw there was no signs of allergic reactions.
Maybe he was overthinking.
They were twins, he was being paranoid, Lexi wouldn't kill her own twin. That was just messed up.
It was probably a prank meant to be harmless.
He dropped that thought and decided to get to school.
Everyone was still talking about the incident, no one dared mention it to him directly though in fear he'd snap.
Class went by and soon it was lunch time. He walked into the cafeteria and all eyes landed on him. He ignored the attention though and scanned the room. Matteo wasn't here again.
He got out his phone to message Damon as he turned to leave
He slipped his phone into his pocket and went to leave when he suddenly turned.
His eyes focused in on the table with her friends and he walked over much to everyone's suprise.
"Is she okay" Antonio and Sophia asked at the same time almost.
"She's getting there. Now Sophia let's talk"
"About what" Sophia whispered, she didn't want to be on Dante's bad side and she feared she was.

He was aware, Sophia had told her friends she was ill and that's the way Em preferred it so he decided the topic was to be discussed elsewhere.
"Come walk with me"
Sophia gulped but knew better than to say no.
So she packed her stuff and grabbed her bag and followed him.
"I swear I don't know anything" Sophia panicked.
"I want to know more about this allergic reaction, you was with her when it happened. We aren't discussing it at the table as I'm aware you told them she was ill and I'm sure Emilia would like to keep it that way"
"Oh" Sophia was suprised that he wasn't going to threaten her life.
"Yeah so tell me everything you can remember, I hope you don't mind but I need to find my brother so you will be coming along with me "
Sophia nodded "is she really okay though"
"She's getting better, physically she's okay but mentally she isn't exactly the best shape but she will be soon"
"Okay. Well I don't really remember much only it happened so suddenly, it was awful to watch I didn't know what to do. She couldn't breath and she couldn't..." Sophia burst out crying, she didn't mean to but seeing her best friend in that state hurt her.
Dante wasn't one to share feelings but when he had got to her, he realized he had felt the same way Sophia did. "She's okay though, the nurse helped her, we found out what caused it and it won't happen again"
"What was it, if you don't mind me asking"
"Some laundry spray thing. It was one of the ingredients used in it" Dante said.
"Soooo Lexi did it"
Dante stopped walking and looked at her.
"Oh god. I'm so so sorry I didn't mean to get involved" Sophia quickly said, she started to panic, she had practically insulted his sister to his face.
"Why do you think it was Lexi"
"Oh it's just with everything going on and stuff we realized they don't get along. It obviously wasnt you, your brother seems to naive to try and do something "
"We have two more brothers you know"
Sophia gulped as she remembered the rumours "okay then how do you guys know she has an allergy but Emilia doesn't know" Sophia asked.

"You have a good point. I will admit I believe it to be her too. I just need proof to show she knew" Dante admitted, thinking Sophia could be helpful.
"Well it's not her first attack if she knew about it so maybe contact the hospital or a school nurse at her old school"
Dante smiled, he definitely could check a school nurse at her old school "you have been most helpful, why don't you get back to lunch"
Sophia breathed a sigh of relief when she was finally away.
Dante entered the library which he had walked to with Sophia before sending her away.
Matteo was sat reading, Dante sighed "how can you expect to do well if you are too hungry to focus" he told Matteo.
"I'm not hungry" Matteo forced out.
"Clearly there is something you aren't telling us, whats going on" Dante said.
"Nothing is going on" Matteo snapped.
"Then let's go get lunch" Dante told him
"No"
"Why? It's not like you to ever miss a meal and that's all you do"
"I got a detention" Matteo snapped.
"Is that all ,you always get them, why is this different"
"I was in a bad mood, he gave me a detention so I grabbed my stuff and left. I left class early and I could have gone right instead of left. If I took a different corridor I could have stopped it. I could have seen who did it. She wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for me. Instead I took the left corridor and went off with a bunch of girls " Matteo snapped, confessing what had been tearing him up.
"You can't tell the others, especially Damon, he will hate me and definitely blame me" Matteo added.
"Ok first you are not to blame, why would you go right it's further into the school. You couldn't have known. Damon won't get angry, he's actually just as concerned for you. So is dad"
"What do you mean"
Dante sighed and took out his phone. First he went into the message Alesandro sent him this morning.
Then he went onto the one from Damon who had replied whilst they were talking.
"What's he telling dad"
"That you're not eating at school now"
"Fine I'll eat but on the condition you don't tell them "
"I won't but I bet they already know. Damon has been looking through the cameras and dad will have had the school emailing or calling him" Dante agreed.
"Anyway I'm hungry let's go" Dante added.
Meanwhile
Alesandro and Emilia were spending the day together. Emilia had wanted to go outside, so they went for a small walk in town, Emilia enjoyed it. She had gotten a little nervous when there was quite alot of people but Alesandro simply took hold of her hand, he didn't bring it up, they kept walking. They found a small quiet cafe and stopped for lunch and something to drink.
Alesandro decided he should break the news now.
"I don't know if you heard but I did tell Matteo and Alexia they should be straight home" he started.
Emilia nodded, she hadn't heard but she wanted to know where this was going.
"Well sweetheart, my parents are visiting . They have been away on holiday the last month. They travel alot so whenever they come home, they visit us" Alesandro explained, straight away he saw fear.
"They weren't due back for a few days but they decided to come a little earlier. Anyway I decided not to tell them about you and Alexia to give them a suprise " Alesandro explained.
"I know you don't like talking in public but are you okay with them visiting, if you're not you can tell me and I'll tell them we are busy. you don't have to say it, just nod or shake your head "
"Im okay with it" she whispered deciding to talk because of how safe she felt around Alesandro, she didn't think anything bad would happen.
"You spoke, I'm so proud of you sweetheart " he said a little taken back. He was smiling widely at the fact this was the first time she had spoken outside the house.
"I'm not ready to speak full time though" she whispered hoping he didn't expect that from her.
"Of course not bambina, it's whenever you are ready to talk, in the mean time we are quite happy with the nodding and shaking your head. I'm just so proud of you that you spoke. Take all the time you need,I love you so much"

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
