“You dislike me that much? Hmm?”

Qiao Qing’s voice instantly turned cold, “Jun Yexuan!”

“Hush~” Jun Yexuan’s index finger landed on her lips, “Then why are you getting agitated? The more you hide, the more it seems like you are avoiding me.”

Then, he checked her out from head to toe. With a devilish voice, he said, “You have a great figure. It’s a shame that you refuse to wear dresses. I will wait for the day you put one on for me.”

Qiao Qing found this laughable, “If you want to dream, then go to bed.”

Jun Yexuan’s glittering eyes squinted. His peripheral vision caught something and he lowered his head.

Qiao Qing was about to dodge it when Jun Yexuan pressed her shoulders down.

A man who’s normally never serious and had always been so at ease, was acting extremely headstrong right now.

However, the imagination didn’t meet reality. Jun Yexuan’s sexy lips stopped when they were just 0.1 cm away from her cheek.

From a bystander’s point of view however, these two looked like they were kissing.

Luo Chen saw this scene just as he was about to step in. Instantly, he retreated.

Step by step, he walked backwards until he stumbled into someone’s chest.

Luo Xingqian steadied his shoulders, “Luo Chen, what’s wrong?”

Luo Chen turned his head and saw his own brother’s pointy chin.

Remembering what he had just seen, Luo Chen closed his eyes and shook his head, “Brother, let’s go to dinner.”

“What’s wrong?” Luo Xingqian asked again, “Didn’t you just say you wanted to visit that classmate of yours?”

“N… No. I think it might be an… inconvenient time for her.”

Luo Chen’s voice obviously sounded crestfallen.

Luo Xingqian noticed how Luo Chen was behaving and he had a good guess as to what happened. His eyes darkened in response.

He pretended to ask carelessly, “You like that girl?”

“I don’t know.” Luo Chen pressed down his own chest and he gently coughed, “But, brother, when I see her close with someone else, I don’t feel comfortable here. Brother, is that what it means to ‘like’?”

Luo Xingqian’s eyes darkened yet again and his hands that held onto Luo Chen’s shoulders tightened.

“That’s a question you need to ask yourself. If you don’t like her being with someone else, why not snatch her over?”

Luo Chen shook his head, “Qingqing is too dazzling. I don’t have the courage. I feel like… I’m not good enough for her.”

“Says who?” Luo Qingqian turned Luo Chen around. Cupping his face, Luo Xingqian’s expression was very serious.

“Luo Chen, remember, you should never feel like you are not good enough. There are only people in this world who are not good enough for you. There is nobody in this world who has the right to make you say what you just said. Do you understand?”

Luo Chen was still deep in thought over what he had seen. To him, his brother was speaking words to comfort him.

Pushing away Luo Xingqian’s hands, he turned back around, “To you, and to mom and dad, of course I am the best. Sorry, let’s stop this conversation and get going.”

Luo Xingqian stared at the hand that Luo Chen held onto and grasped onto it tightly. Luo Chen’s hand was just one size smaller than his own. “Okay.”

Jun Yexuan thought he must’ve gone crazy. With his 23 year old age, he was playing games with a child. On top of that, he was using unsightly tactics.

When he saw Qiao Qing’s furious expression, he then felt like his deliria made sense.

A hoarse and magnetic laughter travelled out from his pulsing chest and surrounded Qiao Qing alongside his affectionate breathing.

Jun Yexuan twisted his head and whispered into her ear, “Are you disappointed?”

What he received in response was a punch in the chest.

“You’re a psycho.” Qiao Qing walked down the stairs with a cold look on her face.

Jun Yexuan held onto the railings with one hand, while his other hand covered the spot that was struck.

The gunshot wound from before seemed to hurt.

The smile on his lips was faint and blurred. The redness from them looked so much like flowers that blossomed near the edge of hell.

“I’m truly done for.”
