When she saw the big bag of stuff in his hand, her ears turned red.
She uncomfortably shifted her gaze, “Why did you return to the City of Brisk?”
Jun Yexuan realized that she remembered who he was and felt reassured. However, he wasn’t about to forget what happened.
He put the stuff down on the table, placed one arm on each side of her, and hovered over her.
His voice was low and magnetic, “I thought you didn’t recognize me? Hmm?”
“Don’t you know that I have face blindness?”
Qiao Qing’s tone was matter-of-fact. She did not feel guilty over the fact that she had forgotten him.
Jun Yexuan was half dead from being choked by her response. “What about the photos I gave you?”
“I threw them out,” Qiao Qing replied.
Jun Yexuan, “…”
His chest heaved up and down and just as he was about to do something about his anger, a gentle cough was heard, “The brown sugar water is ready.”
After a long sigh, Jun Yexuan opened up the shopping bag.
He then said to Qiao Qing, “You use whatever you want. I’ll come back when you’re done.”
Then, he left the room and closed the door behind him like a gentleman.
Qiao Qing was stunned for a few seconds. She put aside the heating pad the nurse had given her and got off of the bed while in pain.
After she saw the 10 different bags of different pads, she was speechless.

Jun Yexuan cooled down the brown sugar water until it was cool enough to drink. Then, he asked Mu Jinghang to drive the car over.
When he was done, he heard the door behind him open with a “crack”.
He turned his head to look and then he frowned deeply, “I told you to call me over when you’re done. Who gave you permission to get off the bed?!”
In quick steps, he walked over, lifted Qiao Qing off her feet, and placed her back onto the bed.
The nurse very nicely brought over the brown sugar water, placed it down, and then left with a motherly smile.
Jun Yexuan sat on the bed and let Qiao Qing lean into him.
He took the cup of brown sugar water and carried it to Qiao Qing’s lips, “Drink.”
Qiao Qing lifted her hand to take the cup but Jun Yexuan moved it away and did not let her take it.
Then, he placed the cup near her lips again.
The meaning of this was obvious.
He wanted to feed her.
Qiao Qing glared at him. Helplessly, she lowered her head and began to drink.
Jun Yexuan used his muscles to control the angle of the cup until there was nothing left in the cup.
After he placed the cup down, he heard Qiao Qing’s powerless voice, “Jun Yexuan, you’re the first person who ever dared to force me to do something.”
Though her words weren’t kind, because her voice was so weak, it didn’t sound threatening at all.
Jun Yexuan smiled. He leaned in closer and alluringly whispered into her ear.
“Then it’s really a blessing for me. However, you need to get used to this. After today, I will be responsible for a lot of your ‘firsts’.”
