My heart pounded as I waited for a response. It's possible he's asleep, but does he really sleep? He could be a vampire who knows.

I looked back at my phone to see if he responded

My heart rate fuckin zoomed. Then the little text bubbles that indicate someone's typing showed up and I almost dropped my phone.

I sighed and turned my phone off.

So much shit happened tonight. It was hard to even remember most of it. Then again I was drunk as fuck.

I turned to my side, a little bit over the bed so I didn't drown if I puked, and shut my eyes as I fell into a restless sleep.

My eyes snapped open as something filled my throat. I rushed to the bathroom and puked. Afterwards I just sat next to the toilet and tried to catch my breath after my beverages came back out of what I put them into.

"Hey."

I turned towards the door and Tricia was standing there with her tiny little fists on her hips.

Oh god what's this little asshole want?

"What."

"You came home pretty late last night" she said

"Yeah and?"

"Did you drink a lot?" She crossed her arms

"Did you not hear me throw up like 17 seconds ago?"

She just stood there and stared at me for a few seconds.

There was along awkward pause before she said "do you want a Gatorade?"

"Yes please, my head is killing me"

She walked downstairs and in a short amount of time she came running back up to the bathroom with a red Powerade.

I smiled and took it "I thought you were getting me a Gatorade?"

She raised an eyebrow "they're the same thing?"

"Not really. Thank you though." I Said before taking a sip

"So", she said leaning against the doorway "you going anywhere today?"

"Yeah, to the park with Tweek why?"

"Just wondering" she responded

There was another long pause before I got up and ruffled her hair. I went downstairs and sat on the couch, turning on the tv.

She's skipped after me and plopped herself down in a condescending manner. It begged me a bit. It felt just like the time she just found weed in my hamper and was about to tell mom in 9th grade. I was so pissed

"You've been hanging out with Tweek a lot lately" she said with a smile

"Uh Yeah?"

"So at this park", she started to twirl her hair and look at me like she knew something, "will there be other people?"

"No why?"

"Ooh I see" she sat up with a smirk

"What? I just need to talk to him alright"

"About?"

"Stop bein so nosy you little punk" I pushed her head back

"Hey I'm just curious alright!"

"No you just are trying to be a detective and figure something out" I laughed

"Wha! No I'm not!" She got defensive

I looked at her and smiled

"Okay fine maybe I was thinking" she grinned a little bit but quickly gained her composure "you gotta crush?"

My eyelids dropped

"So what if I did?"

She gasped and quickly sprang up from the couch

"I knew it! You don't have to tell me I already know who it is!"

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

I put my shoes on and grabbed my hoodie.

"I'm gonna go to the park see ya mom" I said before giving her a peck on the cheek

"With who?"

"Friends."

"Can you bring your sister? She's been cooped up in the house all day"

Now you see my immediate reaction was to say no. Since ya know I'm a teenager and I don't want my punk as she little sister spilling all my secrets in front of a cute guy. But then I remembered the situation I'm in

What if she makes everything seem casual and not a big deal? She can make it less awkward.

"Okay mom"

I walked upstairs and burst into Tricia's room.

"Patricia."

"What!"

"Get your coat on we're going to the park" I demanded

"Wait really?"

"Yeah"

"But aren't you going there with a certain someone?" She said

"Mm no"

I walked out of there and got into my truck, she shortly followed

Once we got there I saw Tweek sitting on the swing looking at the sun. Not directly at it, obviously, that's bad for your eyes.

He looked really sweet sitting there. It's interesting what people do when they think no one is watching them.

We sat there for a bit, this is harder than I thought. What will I even say?

Hey Tweek I know that you kissed me but I know you didn't mean it

Hey Tweek sorry I was being a whiny little pussy yesterday

Yo Tweek how's it going thanks for that smooch. I haven't been kissed in about 4 months and I was starting to miss it

Tweek! Do you like me or was that for pity lmao

How's it hanging? I think I lov-

"Are we just going to sit here or can we go and talk to Tweek?"

"Yeah.." I Said "Yeah lets go"

We hopped out of the car and walked over to him. He looked so nervous.

He finally looked over at us

"GAH!!" He yelled as he fell off the swing

I guess he didn't hear our foot steps

I gave him a warm smile and helped him up.

"Hi Tweek!" Tricia yelled as she hugged him

"Hey Trish" he smiled as he pat her head

I felt a little giddy at the encounter. I'm sorry it was just really cute.

"Hey Tricia can yo-"

She cut me off "I can read a room, I'll go play on the slide"

We both watched her skip away

There was a long pause.

I was about to say something but I was cut off by Tweek

"I'm so sorry" he buried his hands into his face

"Tweek-"

"How could I be so stupid!" He yelled "I don't know why I did that"

"Did what?" I asked

I could see his heart drop and he lifted his hands from his face

I grinned "I'm just kidding I still remember our smooch"

"Don't do that man!" He pushed me and I giggled

"No but on a real note" I said staring at my feet "Thanks for that"

"Huh?"

"I mean the point of that kiss was to distract me from my crazy rambling" I said "and boy did it work"

"hUh?"

I smiled and kicked the dirt "I know you didn't have to do that and I know you probably didn't want to do that but... I appreciate it"

He just stared at me confused

"What the hell are you talking about?"

My smile faded. As ideas and thoughts rushed through my mind

"What do you mean? Are you saying it wasn't because you wanted to distract me?"

"Yes!"

"So it was for pity then?"

"What the fuck? No!" He yelled

My brain physically hurt from the confusion

"Then why the fuck did you kiss me? I'm nasty."

"Cause I like you, stupid!"

My heart dropped and my stomach turned to knots. I'm pretty sure my knees literally fell off because I could NOT feel them.

My entire face and back started to get a lot pinker

"R-really?"

Tweek kicked a pebble and avoided eye contact with me

"Yeah..." he said softly "I mean how could I not?"

I just looked at him as he still stared at the ground. He bit his lip just before he said something else

"I'm sorry if that, like, changes anything between us... I still wanna be friends and everything but... I just like you. But I don't want to try and force you to like me back or put pressure on you or anything, cause I know you're still recovering from Kenny and everything-"

"Fuck Kenny he's a little shit head"

"Wait really?"

"Yeah I'm over him"

"Like 100% You're done with him?"

"Yup."

He smiled out of pride "since when?"

I smiled at him then took his hand

"since yesterday"

His eyes went wide and I could feel his hand start to sweat.

"Tweek I like you. I haven't liked you for that long, only like a month now. But I like you too"

Then I physically felt him relax and he grinned at me. I could feel myself turn pink.

"Rad" his voice cracked

We started to swing together holding hands

"Are you two done talking yet?!" Tricia yelled from inside one of those tube slides

"Yeah we're done!" I yelled

She came running out and towards the swings but she came to a full stop when she noticed us.

She then started to squeal

"Aww!"

"Triissshhhhhh" I groaned, blushing

Tweek tried to hide his smile but a little peaked through

I got up from the swing and Tricia ran to the car knowing it was time to leave.

"You wanna go on a date?"

"What? Like now?" He asked surprised

"No like in a couple of days" I giggled

"Oh."

"Does tomorrow work?"

"No I have to work Monday, but I'm free Wednesday!" He smiled

"It's a date" I Said, giving him finger guns before walking to my truck

Man, everything's turning out alright
