It was a very good day, with a clear, cloudless blue sky above us. I am currently in the Northern Demon Realm. This place, which isn’t far from the Land of Death, isn’t a sightseeing spot, as it’s inhabited by many monsters, and there are no other races living nearby.

Isis-san’s hobby is collecting items from her favorite book as memorabilia. In a recently released book, this place appeared in a story that both Isis-san and I rated highly, and there was a scene in which a character picks up an amber, so we came to collect it together.

Since it was apparently found in a place with not so many trees as a forest, we weren’t sure if we could really find amber in this place, and if not, we planned to look for another item, but we were able to find it safely.

Although the place was inhabited by many monsters, thanks to Isis-san’s magic power of death, we didn’t see any monsters at all, and we decided to have lunch in a slightly open area.

The lunch box that Isis-san made looks very delicious, and I’m happy to see that it has all my favorite side dishes.

And there…… lays a small fox with white fur. Its body was eerily luminous, with that light getting stronger and weaker, as if it were blinking.

The fox was breathing roughly as it lay there, and although no external injuries could be seen, its current state looked unusual.

She may have no problem with using magic that enhances the regenerative ability of a person, such as Recovery Magic, but she isn’t good at using magic power to directly heal someone.
