As the teenagers walked in their headmaster's office. They noticed another teenager. ''Scott, what are you doing here?'', Nick asked his former bully. ''dr S asked me to meet him here for something''.

All the teenagers looked at the adult male. ''yeah, Scott here is going to help us a little too. I figured out something about him. The vampire who bit him, wasn't just a random girl or woman. In fact, she is someone who actually died many years ago or so we thought. Tell them Scott''

Nick's pov

As I listened to dr S I felt something or rather someone grabbing my hand. I looked to see it was Hope. She squeezed my hand and I gave her a reassuring smile. She leaned in closer to my ear ''I'm sorry I wasn't in your room when you woke up. Dr S said it was better for you to be''. ''it's okay Hope I understand. I'm the one who should apologize to you''. ''you apologize to me, why?''. ''because I kinda lost control and almost killed Roman''. I said as I took my gaze from Hope to the floor.

''look Nick. Don't beat yourself up about it. I'm not mad nor am I upset. I was just worried about you. I know you hate Roman, but at least try to be the better man. I saw you stepped back in the hall when you saw me. That's one step''. ''yeah I guess you are right princess'', I said as I gave her a smirk. She began to smile and came closer to my ear and whispered. ''I'm always right, lover boy''

Before Nick could respond his headmaster yelled his and Hope's name. ''Hope, Nick. Are you both listening?''.

3rd pov

''uhm yeah'', the hybrid boy answered. ''then what did I just say?''. ''you said that the vampire who bit Scott wasn't someone random''. ''that's right. Looks like Hope listened'', dr Saltzman said as he looked at Hope then at Nick.

Alaric sighed ''now please Nicholas pay attention to what Scott was about to say''. ''yes sir'', Nick said while he saluted. Everyone started to giggle at the boy's confident. Hope elbowed him in the stomach, that made Nick growl a little from the hurt. Alaric rolled his eyes at his best friend's son. Nick looked at him. ''sorry dr S. Now I'm all ears''. ''good. Scott you can begin''.

Scott took a breath then he started. ''so, I was just walking and then I saw someone in the dark. I thought it was homeless person or whatever. Then she came out where there were more lights and introduced herself. I being the idiot I am introduced myself and followed her more into the alley. I didn't quiet see her face, but her figure was beautiful and my girlfriend broke up with me that day. So, I went with it. First she stood there and just looked at me. She began to ask questions. Questions of you Nick and your family''. As Scott said that Nick raised his brows. ''I didn't answer them. I just stood there thinking I don't have time for a girl wondering about you Nick. So, I tried to leave. When she saw I tried to go, she like speeded or something and then she was in front of me. She said and I quote ''I won't hurt you little boy. I just want to have some fun. It's been a long time and I really don't know when I'll get out of there again. So, must enjoy the time I have before going back in''.

''She came closer, and I thought I recognized her. She looked like your mother, but before I could think she bit me. After she bit me, suddenly she screamed ''no'' and then she vanquished like thin air. I'm sorry for not telling sooner, but somehow when she vanquished my memory did too. It wasn't before I turned into a vampire I thought I remembered a girl biting me and just speeded away, but when Jed started a fight with me and began to hit me and all that. Suddenly the real memory came back and then I told dr S and then I'm here telling you guys''.

Everyone had shook in their face, except Nick. ''you said she looked like my mom?''. ''yeah she had the same face and all, the hair was more...'', then Scott got cut off ''curly'', dr Saltzman said. Scott turned to him ''yes''.

Nick sighed ''you didn't see my mother Scott. You saw the doppelganger of her. You got bitten by Katherine Pierce''.
