Looking at the enormous tree before him, a large smile could be seen on Ling Fan's face.
"Finally," mumbled Ling Fan as he looked at the three large fruits at the top of the tree.
A few moments later, Ling Yun appeared next to her brother before looking through her spatial ring, an enormous skeleton with an ancient aura suddenly appeared in front of the two them.
In merely a few moments, hundreds of tree roots stabbed into the several hundred-meter-long skeleton, slowly draining it of it's last remaining power.
"Now we only have to wait," mumbled Ling Yun as she sat crosslegged and began meditating.
A few hours later,
As the skeleton finally turned into dust, the sibling's gazes turned to the three now ripe fruits on the top of the tree.
After a few moments, two fruits were ripped off from the tree before flying towards the sibling, stopping only a few meters away.
Looking at the fruit for a few moments, the siblings then began eating their respective fruits.
"It's actually quite good," mumbled Ling Yun as she felt a transformation take place inside of her, unlike most other methods of strengthening oneself, it seemed that this fruit did not require much willpower.
The moment Ling Yun finished the entire fruit, she felt a wave of euphoria erupt in her as her body was completely transformed.
A few moments later, a vortex of natural energies formed around Lin Xue, this time not from the transformation, but rather something else.
"Good, she's breaking through to the Qi Refining realm," mumbled Ling Fan as he felt the complete transformation of his body's potential.
"Even though it would have been better to eat the fruit when you were of a lower cultivation base, it will still help you go through the Qi Refining and True Awakening realms much faster," said the system's mechanical voice once Ling Fan recovered from the transformation.
"A few more decades and I can reach the peak of the Qi Refining realm," mumbled Ling Fan as he felt himself naturally breakthrough to the 7th layer of the Qi refining realm and his Qi sea turning into a core.
"System, do you know any other uses of that fruit?" asked Ling Fan as he looked at the last remaining golden fruit.
"Sadly, this fruit did not exist the last time I was in operation, as such I do not have any knowledge of it," said the system, in it's ever-so-familiar mechanical voice.
"That's unfortunate," thought Ling Fan as he continued looking at the giant tree.
"We should keep the last fruit, maybe it has some uses," said Ling Yun as she appeared next to Ling Fan, slightly surprising him.
"That's a good idea," said Ling Fan as the two exited the separate dimension and returned to the real world.
A few months later,
Looking at the large map in front of them the two siblings frowned.
"We can either go through a corner of the Painting region and head towards the center of the Three Thousand Regions, or we can go through the Painting Region and we can go to the edge of the world," said Ling Fan as he looked at the map in front of him.

"I say we go to the edge, If anything happens, we can use the void ship we obtained to escape," said Ling Yun, staring at Ling Fan when saying 'If anything happens'.
"It's not my fault, and you also cause trouble," said Ling Fan as he almost erupted into a coughing fit.
The moment he said that, Ling Fan immediately began running away as Ling Yun began slashing at him with her sword.
A while later,
After not being able to catch Ling Fan for nearly five hours, Ling Yun finally gave up because of the difference in their cultivation bases.
"To the edge of the world it is," said Ling Yun as she looked at her brother with a normal look on her face, as if nothing had actually happened.
Ling Fan let out a tired sigh before the two of them once again began traveling, this time towards the edge of the world, rather, the region close to the edge.
Thankfully, their increased cultivation base allowed them to travel at a much faster speed.
...
Wuli Jiang finally stopped shaking as he looked at the scene in front of him, a terrifying most was slaughtering everything in it's path, of course, it did not mean that he had lost his fear, the only thing that happened was that his body had begun shutting down.
Looking at the near dead cultivator for a moment, Ling Chen sighed before continuing forward, giving his one last act of mercy.
"This really was quite troublesome," mumbled Ling Chen as the injuries on his body began recovering at an incredible pace, becoming scars in merely a few minutes, the scars themselves disappearing a few hours later.
After battling the sect's strongest combat power, Ling Chen began looking through it's treasure house, as if searching for something.
"This is it!" said Ling Chen as he looked at the crystal before him with a smile on his face.
After examing the crystal for a few more moments, Ling Chen tossed it into the Five Treasure Pagoda, causing one of the five floors of the pagoda to slightly light up.
"Hopefully the next ones just surrender it," mumbled Ling Chen as he looked at the dead bodies around him with a small amount of pity.
"How powerless," mumbled Ling Chen as he began flying to his next destination.
A few minutes after Ling Chen left, a small black light appeared inside of the sect treasure house.
"I'm rich," mumbled Tian Zei as skillfully began plundering it.
As Ling Chen was only interested in one thing and everything else was only a useless burden to him, he had left almost everything behind.
After merely a few minutes, everything valuable inside of the Treasure House disappeared, Tian Zei then once again turned into a small light, disappearing as well.
Even though he knew how much was inside it, a smile still appeared on Tian Zie's face as he looked into his storage ring.
"I'm rich," mumbled Tian Zei as he hesitated for a bit before beginning to travel in a specific direction.

"I shouldn't be too greedy," thought Tian Zei as he suddenly disappeared, becoming completely non-existent and invisible from the outside world.
As that happened, Tian Zei's speed suddenly increased, reaching extreme levels as he quickly went the direction opposite of Ling Chen.
"Who's the one thinking about me," mumbled Ling Chen as he help another elemental crystal in his hand, at this moment, next to Ling Chen stood a worried sect master.
After taking one more look at the sect master, Ling Chen suddenly disappeared, causing the sect master to breathe a relaxed sigh.
"Hopefully that demon doesn't come back," mumbled the sect master as he reopened the sect formation, having survived the ordeal.
...
"Someone was following me," thought Ling Chen as he felt the strength of his body reach greater heights.
"Elemental crystals are too hard to find, without the pagoda, I wouldn't have been able to find any at all," thought Ling Chen as he already arrived to another location with Elemental Crystals present.
...
As Han Zufu suddenly woke up, he felt something different about himself, frowning, he touched his chest before suddenly getting up.
After getting up, Han Zufu began looking through his bed, searching for his necklace.
"I can't lose grandmother's necklace!" said Han Zufu as an extremely worried expression appeared on his face.
Looking at the booklet on his now completely empty wooden bed, it seemed as if the booklet called to Han Zufu.
Picking it up, Han Zufu began impatiently reading the booklet, becoming more and more obsessed.
...
Ling Chen smiled as he took out the elemental crystal from the necklace, feeling the extremely pure elemental power coming from it, he suddenly widened his eyes.
"I made a killing," mumbled Ling Chen as he carefully put the elemental crystal into his storage ring, preparing to use it somewhere else.
...
Looking at the cultivator before her, a smile appeared on Lin Xue's face.
"You have done well," said Lin Xue as she looked at the jade slip in front of her, upon hearing this, an extremely devoted smile appeared on Yun Che's face.
"Since they had gotten in mistresses' way, then they deserved to be eliminated," said Yun Che as he began righteously badmouthing the cultivators he had killed.
"Yes, they were very insolent, but did I allow you to talk?" asked Lin Xue as a sadistic smile appeared on her face.
Yun Che suddenly prostrated himself on the ground, without even saying a single word, blood appearing on his forehead as even the extremely powerful floor made out of treasures was slightly dented.
"Get up," said Lin Xue as she looked at Yun Che without even an ounce of emotion.
"Since you have done well in your mission, you can evade punishment this time, you should thank me for my mercy," said Ling Xue as she touched Yun Che's chin, causing a chill to appear in the cultivator's heart.
"Yun Che thanks mistress for her great mercy," said Yun Che as deeply bowed to Lin Xue.
"You can go now, I have something to do," said Lin Xue, once again without any ounce of emotion,
"Understood Mistress," said Yun Che as he began walking backward, still bowing even as he exited the room.
A few moments after Yun Che exited the room, a second Lin Xue then appeared, this one only had one difference to the normal Lin Xue, her now fully white hair.
As soon as this Lin Xue appeared, the two began walking toward each other, and then into each other.
"This is much better," said Lin Xue, who now had fully grey hair.
"But having two true bodies is too good to give up," mumbled Lin Xue as she layed down on a nearby couch with her legs sitting upwards.
After a few hours of silence,
"Are things going well?" asked Lin Xue as another man appeared before her and was now massaging her feet.
"Most of the materials have been found, things can proceed accordingly Mistress," said the man as he continued massaging Lin Xue's feet.
"Most?" asked Lin Xue as she slightly opened her eyes.
"The Dragon Saliva and Pheonix tears are giving us some problems Mistress," said the man as he used his full power to massage Lin Xue's feet.
After looking at the cute and obedient cultivator below her, a small amount of usually unseen gentleness appeared in Lin Xue's eyes, prompting her to put away the whip in her hand.
The man continued skillfully massaging Lin Xue's feet, completely unaware of the disaster he had avoided.
"How go the creation of the statues?" asked Lin Xue as the whip unknowing once again appeared in her hand.
"All of the statues have been created, they only need to be transported to their destination and prepared for their activation mistress," said the man, with a little bit of pride in his eyes.
"Good, you can proceed accordingly, but make sure not to alert the crop too early," said Lin Xue as she touched a small soul shard in her hands.
Looking at the shard from Yun Che's soul, a smile appeared on Lin Xue's face.
"Finally it's time," mumbled Lin Xue as an extremely dark power of Yin started being emitted into the soul shard, causing unknown changes to it.
...
"In a few months I will finally be able to escape," thought Yun Che as he entered his chambers, not daring to even think such a thing in Lin Xue's presence.
"Hopefully things go as planned," mumbled Yun Che, completely unaware of the power of Yin that was now continuously pouring into his soul.
"How dare I try to rebel," mumbled Yun Che, this time in a somewhat louder.
"I should turn myself in for less punishment," said Yun Che, now talking to himself before beginning to walk toward Lin Xue's chambers.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
