《Another World Trip: Journey with My Cat and an Otaku Loli Goddess》Chapter 252 - You Old Thing! You Were Awake!

The seal on his spiritual base broke under his will, releasing his full power.
Boom!
****
Krrrsh!
An incredible swell of spiritual qi exploded from Long Di’s body! His eyes flashed with spirituality as lightning crackled all over his body!
The cracks that covered his body were slowly being healed as spiritual qi filled every nook and crevice of his body.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
He twisted his body in pure bliss while revelling in the energy he flaunted. There was nothing worse than having power but being unable to use it.
Of course, the release that came with being able to suddenly use it wasn’t something that could be expressed in words.
Tsss…
Hearing a hissing sound that scratched at his soul, Long Di turned his attention to what was causing this.
The deathdrink ghost chrysanthemum was releasing a sea of death energy that continued to eat away the Imperial Divine Edict.
It still lowered even now, but its pressure had lessened a great allowing Long Di to fare much better.
He held his hand out when his signature lightning spear appeared in an instant.
With a thought, hundreds more lightning spears appeared around him.
The sheer number caused the experts present to feel a numbing sensation on their backs!
If these spears were aimed at them, there was no doubt that they would be killed in an instant. This boy, this seemingly unimpressive, unassuming boy, was a monstrous genius at a level that was above even the Sacred Celestics!
Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu!!
The lightning spears shot off towards the Imperial Divine Edict!
Eeeeenng!
Countless sharp whistling sounds echoed out as the spears tore through the air en route towards the Imperial Divine Edict!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions lit up the terrain as the spears crashed into the gargantuan character!
The ground shook under the power of their onslaught!
The experts stared on in horror as the power behind just one of those spears was enough to annihilate them!
The Imperial Divine Edict kept shuddering under the continuous bombardment.
Vrrrm!
As if it sensed its existence was being threatened, the Imperial Divine Edict broke apart before all the lines came back again to form a massive sword!
It was a violet colour and hue and exuded an air of regal authority!
It was similar to the sword that Yaomu Shou regularly used. However, the power of this sword far outstripped the one Yaomu Shou wielded.
It was like this Imperial Divine Edict was the true spirit of that sword!
Suddenly, that same gentle voice rang out in Long Di’s mind once more.
‘If you survive this, you will have defeated the Imperial Divine Edict. This is the last of its power! Survive!’

Long Di still didn’t know who was talking to him all this time, but he owed his life to the owner of this voice and he didn’t have any reason to distrust it now.
Krrrsh!
B-B-Boom!
Two of Long Di’s dantians drained in an instant as a sea of powerful lightning qi emerged with a shocking explosion.
Its power caused space itself to shudder, causing the spectators’ to be short of breath in its presence despite being so far away.
This was a level of power accessible only to those within the Cauldron Core Flame Fusion realm.
How powerful was Long Di truly to have so much power at his command!?
Shu!
The Imperial Divine Edict sword rushed towards Long Di in an attempt to wipe him out immediately!
Whoosh!
Seeing this, Long Di didn’t hesitate and expertly used his spiritual force to craft the sea of lightning into a towering lightning spear!
It was colossal in scale, as if it intended to pierce through the azure veil of the heavens. Its white shaft flickered with powerful lightning energy and even Long Di who constructed it appeared minuscule in comparison.
“What level of power is this!?”
“Even if he’s a martial master, isn’t this too much?”
The experts were horrified at the level of power exercised by Long Di. Er Jinshu and Jixie Wudongyuzhong in particular felt their jaws signing a lease of ownership with the ground.
Long Di suddenly drove his lightning spear forward, and it tore through the sky with a powerful momentum!
Rumble!
Its size and weight created a terrible pressure that was compounded by the power of the Imperial Divine Edict sword, resulting in the void quaking and trembling under their passage.
Before long, the tip of the spear met the point of the sword, and the scene went still.
It was like time forgot itself and sound was merely a timeworn myth. The ends of two world-breaking powers collided, but it was so peaceful that it was frightening.
An expert tried to speak but was shocked to find that his voice found no form. It was like he was speaking in a vacuum.
Seeing this, more experts tried to speak but found the same thing afflicting them. Moreover, they were all unable to move and fear slowly crept in like a demon clawing its way at their hearts.
The silence and stillness struck chords of dread within them.
‘Don’t worry everyone…’ the serene voice of the Noble Attendant chimed in their minds.
She went on to explain, ‘the two powers are at war right now and all major and minor laws are in disarray. As soon as the deadlock is broken, we’ll be able to move again.’

Shu, shu, shu, shu…
Suddenly, a soft thrashing sound broke this unbreakable silence. Curiously, no one else registered this even happening.
This was familiar to no one BUT Long Di as he inwardly remarked, ‘as Yaomu Shou’s skin is ashy, so shall you make your appearance.’
A tumbleweed boldly made its way before the experts of the current generation. It stumbled and rolled along before it approached Long Di and circled him twice before it departed for the horizon and faded from view.
‘How the heck did it ignore the pressure of the Imperial Divine Edict and my lightning spear?’
Long Di thought to himself as he stared blankly in the direction the tumbleweed rolled off in. He was truly beginning to wonder if this tumbleweed was some sort of dao.
Psssh…
A soft crunch reverberated, and motion and sound returned to everyone again.
“What is that!?” a shout drew attention to the source of the crunch earlier where everyone saw the massive sword dip and push back at the lightning spear.
The lightning spear shuddered before cracks covered it in an instant!
“Well, goddamn…” Long Di saw this and immediately erected several shields before reinforcing them with his earth flame.
The Noble Attendant’s eyes widened in shock, before she retreated to her team and executed a dizzying number of hand seals with alarming alacrity.
“Heavenly Sage’s Refuge!”
A light enveloped her body as four symbols emerged around her and the rest of the Sacred Celestics.
The symbols were of an eternally winding river, an expansive and lush forest, flowing clouds and clear skies and a heavenly sage smiling and holding a scale and shield.
As soon as the four symbols formed, a transparent shield materialised with all four symbols swimming across it. However, the symbol of the heavenly sage took the centre field before remaining stationary.
Instantly, the light became even more augmented, as if it could withstand the heavens falling.
All who saw this had a bad feeling well up in the pit of their stomachs and stopped holding back as they executed their best defensive techniques!
Shing!
Various lights of different intensities and colours lit up the plains as all sorts of defensive and protective moves erupted!
Crack!
As soon as this happened a loud crack sounded out as the cracks covering the spear magnified before the spear exploded.
Rumble!
An explosion, one more powerful than the one that came before it rocked the plains and spread out at an alarming rate!
When the explosion finally went off, all the experts present immediately doubled down on whatever moves they were using. They didn’t want any of what Long Di was cooking!
By the time they did this, a wave of lightning washed over them with destructive effectiveness!
Even though they were so far away, their moves were still being broken down by Long Di’s moves!
“Hold on!”
No one knew who spoke, but a voice broke through the peal of destruction and reassured everyone to hold on.
Boom!
“Ack!”
Another shockwave surged over, causing several mouthfuls of blood to erupt from the experts present, but they persevered. After all, if they didn’t hold on, they would be killed here.
All they had to do was hold out, and they would be able to hold on.
However, Long Di was much worse off. The minute the light spear shattered, the sword came barrelling towards him with an unstoppable momentum!
Krrssh!!
He drained his last crystal dantian and his primary dantian to construct a new lightning spear before he sent it to destroy this Imperial Divine Edict!
Boom!
A massive explosion echoed out this time since the momentum of the Imperial Divine Edict allowed it to tear through the lightning spear-like paper!
“Ack!”
Long Di hadn’t properly withdrawn his spiritual force when the lightning spear was forcibly destroyed, causing a strong backlash!
A bout of weakness overcame Long Di, since his spiritual qi was depleted. He ran his cauldrons to absorb more spiritual energy from the surroundings, but the ever-increasing pressure of the Imperial Divine Edict rendered such an undertaking nigh impossible.
“Is this it?” He felt a bit unresigned to die here.
The pressure damned him and inflicted more cracks on his body when the scars from the last ones weren’t finished healing!
He was like damaged porcelain. He appeared so fragile before the colossal sword that it was almost comedic.
[Allow me!]
Divine intent spilt out a phrase in Long Di’s mind when a magnificent and mighty steel stele rushed out from Long Di’s mind sea!
Immediately, the pressure on Long Di lessened a great deal, allowing him to catch a breather. He looked at the thing before him in shock, though it didn’t show.
“Destiny Scale!?” Long Di was legit surprised when he saw this thing awake and full of energy!
[I go to sleep for a few months and you’re already being hunted by the King of the demons. Don’t worry, I am awake now and shall aid you in this.]
Speechlessness struck Long Di before he finally found himself and responded by saying, “You old thing! You were awake all this time!”

The Traitor Games
Welcome to the Traitor Games, and congratulations on your invitation to join as one of the races putting on a show for the galaxy. Your species has been judged as too violent for integration into the Galactic Conglomerate and thus the decision has been made to relegate you to a probationary period during which members of your species will be pitted against each other in games of lies and betrayal. Unfortunate, but the great thing about a probationary period is that it can end! How can we do that; you might be asking. Well, that's easy, if those participants can earn enough points through playing the games, they can potentially buy out your probationary time. Of course, other rewards will also be on offer for success in the games, and if none of your species chooses to be selfless, well then it just goes to show that you wouldn't have been a good fit for us anyway. All those on Earth unlucky enough to not be chosen to become part of one of the most popular shows on Galactic Television, fear not. We will be streaming the various games your race is participating in all across the world. Should we run out of participants, even with our most generous three life system, we will draw more from the population. Good Luck! Noah Landry is one of these participants, he just doesn't know it yet. He blacks out while walking to the local bar McCaffery's, and finds himself, somewhere else. He's wearing clothing he doesn't remember putting on and rocking an absolute banger of a headache. Now he needs to figure out where he is, what's going on, and how he can get out of the Traitor Games. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Cullens Shared Mate
THIS IS A COMPLETED STORY AND THERE WILL BE NO SEQUEL ANY TIME SOON.In this story Elizabeth Swan is the older sister of Bella Swan. Bella hates Beth for being older than her and her not being the only child. She especially hates her when she grows close with the Cullen family. You should also now that I made this cringy and like other stories because that seems to be what everyone likes. Some of it will be cheesy and other parts will be extra dramatic but its intentional. Bella is not with Edward in this story. None of the Cullens are together they only consider eachother siblings. Esme is not in this story and I am so sorry, I love her but with how im doing it I don't know if I could fit her in correctly. In this story the Cullens are a coven that was blessed with having only one mate that they must share with eachother. THIS IS A BELLA BASHING STORY. It is based in 2020 and ALL the Cullens are seniors. Well except Carlisle. The coronavirus is not a thing. Bella will be VERY out of character, go with it.There will be some cursing and smut with warnings when it will happenI do not own twilight or its plot I only own Elizabeth Jo Swan and the plot I created. This will not follow the timeline or the plot completely so bare with me.
