XG 15 - This is the strength of a grown-up adult
Kim Sung-Ho's help with the stun gun could not be said to be useful, since the time for the wire to return to its socket takes time. By then, they already moved to stab another zombie.
"Shit, we won!" Chen Jiang An cheered when there were no more zombies around them, but still had some self-control to keep his voice low.
Even Wong Xue Guo wanted to cheer, but her desire to lie down on the floor was stronger than that. She was completely wiped out. Her yearly quota of exercise was surpassed in just one day!
They thought they could finally take a break, only to see Vihaan running towards them, bringing with him a group of enthusiastic zombie fans.
The three teenagers could only watch in horror as their minds yelled the word 'Fuck!'
"Kim Sung-Ho! Grab a sharp weapon and help out!" Wong Xue Guo quickly dispatched an order.
There was no feeling of guilt in asking a kid to help out in this situation!
As for Low Lin Ya? She had already hidden somewhere after opening the metal door for them.
Vihaan stopped running after reaching them, his hands carrying sharp tools he had picked up along the way. If Suzie Yap had not shared the way to kill these monsters, he would definitely be unable to survive in the fight for long.
In his hand was a long wooden pole, which was used to hold up a banner for the coming Christmas celebration sales. It had come undone and he grabbed it by chance.
Vihaan removed his coat that was restricting his large movement and loosened his tie to wrap his sore right palm. Without his coat, he revealed his hidden muscular body that looked slim under his coat. Before the zombies reached them, Vihaan took the initiative to charge forward to meet them with a skewer attack.
"Yarghhhh!"
It was truly impressive for Vihaan to stab past four zombies in one go, the muscles in his arms tighten and bulge from the excessive strength. Even if it was only one zombie that was stabbed accurately in the heart, it still hindered the other three's movement.
Dang. This is the strength of a grown-up adult.

The best Wong Xue Guo could do was only insert two zombies onto her skewer.
Vihaan did not continue with the skewer attack and pushed it aside, leaving the zombies alive on the skewer to wiggle like a fish out of water. His next weapon was surprisingly a large butcher knife used to chop chicken. It looked mightily dangerous, but how will it get to the heart?
"Stop looking. We need to help him." Chen Yibo joined the fray, ditching the metal bat to be replaced with a brand new ski pole he managed to find inside the sports store.
Wong Xue Guo's eyes brightened and hurriedly grabbed a ski pole for herself, discarding the broomstick. Seeing her, Chen Jiang An also grabbed one for himself and joined the fight. The ski pole was indeed a better weapon than a metal bat or a broken broomstick. Even Kim Sung-Ho had ditched the stun gun to help them with his own ski pole.
Vihaan was like a soldier on a battlefield, aggressively chopping down the enemies, with his aim to see all his enemies die. Wong Xue Guo could see that Vihaan's chop was heavy, and it sank deep into the zombie's chest. It was enough to stop the zombies from moving again.
Although her body was moving, her mind was doing multitasking after gradually getting used to the physical activity. Her brain was informing her that the zombies she observed had a clean chest. Their head, neck, arms, thighs, waist, legs, and even butts were bitten savagely.
But none of their chest areas was bitten.
Now that the fight ended to their victory, Wong Xue Guo has the luxury to take stock of her own body and fuck it, her whole body ached as if she had just gone to Hell and back.
Not even Chen Jiang An has the energy to cheer for their victory.
She does not even dare to move her shaking hands that were still holding tightly onto the ski pole. The sharp pain as she tried to pry open her palm had her eyes blink rapidly in tears. The small cuts must have evolved into big cuts and are likely to be sticking onto her ski pole. Knowing that she could not just let her bloody flesh stick to the ski pole, she bit her lips and slowly separated them, her sight nearly went dark for a second or two.

"Get inside," Vihaan urged the children now that there were no more zombies heading on their way.
"Mother." Wong Xue Guo turned her head to where the crowd was. She finally realized the implication of Vihaan being here.
Her mother was fighting alone.
When her mother told her to run with the Chen cousins, she had not protested much because Vihaan would be fighting alongside her.
"Does your mother even need help?" Chen Jiang An asked in astonishment when he spotted a human-shaped tornado cutting down the zombies around her.
In a short time, Suzie Yap alone had cleaned up all the zombies until they could count the remaining with two hands. Her accomplishment had dazzled the other’s eyes, but only she herself knew this was a small feat compared to what she could do in the future.
Her current strength was very much weaker compared to her first life.
"We will wait for your mother inside. She won’t want any distractions," Vihaan advised Wong Xue Guo, who quickly calmed down from his words.
Wong Xue Guo could see with her own eyes how different her mother was fighting during solo versus group fights. Suzie Yap was not fighting at her best because she needed to protect them.
Inside the store was dark, but they could see clearly what happened outside from the window but she could not see the area where her mother was. With trembling limbs, Wong Xue Guo squatted beside the window, hugging her knees while praying for her mother's safety as she strained her ears to listen for her mother's arrival.
Vihaan had found a medical kit and was on standby in case Suzie Yap needed treatment. But none of them dared to think their strongest ally might be bitten, because it would mean their chance of leaving this place alive will be less than half. Yet, it was unrealistic to think Suzie Yap would not be bitten with how many zombies had surrounded her.
Everyone tensed when they heard someone coming, but only Wong Xue Guo was overjoyed upon recognizing the familiar sound of her mother's footsteps. But she wisely held back her urge to rush out, in case she was mistaken in recognizing people, and pinned her eyes on the window.
When Suzie Yap appeared in view, none of them could identify if she was bitten or not. Her entire self was soaked with blood, and holding onto two bloody knives, she looked like a mass murderer released to society.
Suzie Yap stopped in front of the metal door that remained open and leaned over it. "Guo Guo?"
Tears sprang from her eyes and Wong Xue Guo did not want to think anymore. She ran to her mother and hugged her shapely waist tightly, trembling fiercely with overwhelming emotions. She does not mind the icky blood getting onto her, only wanting to seek comfort that her mother was still alive.
Hugging her scared daughter, Suzie Yap's eyes on her were like tender pools full of motherly love. Dropping a kiss onto Wong Xue Guo's head, she murmured, "Mommy is back."
The onlookers do not have the heart to break apart the mother and daughter even if they feared for the latter's safety. They could only assume Suzie Yap would not bring harm to her own daughter if she was bitten and relieved that their pillar was safe.
They closed the door, continuing to keep the lights off to avoid them being seen from the outside.
"Where are Lin Ya and Hani?" Wong Xue Guo asked as she got rid of her soaked face mask in disgust and replaced it with a new one. The sundry shop only sells in packs, but in this case, she was glad they did.
Earlier, Wong Xue Guo’s mind was full of her mother’s safety and had no interest in anything else. It turns out that there was a small office area inside the sports store where Nurul Hanani and Low Lin Ya were hiding inside.
They did not turn off the light in the office room and Wong Xue Guo could clearly see Nurul Hanani's state.
"Hani…" Wong Xue Guo trailed off.
While Wong Xue Guo was glad that her friend was still alive, her current state was far from good.

8 81To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
