Volume 1 Chapter 18 Difficult Win
As a Rank 5 Noga-level Pathseeker, Jack had naturally won against three normal folks, however the fight had made a pretty big commotion.
Jack didn’t have much time to recover before some other thug bursted through the door in front of him. Lynch was barely able to dodge the door’s opening.
As the Red Ghost entered the room, on his face annoyance was slowly replaced with shock. There on the ground were lying three of his old pals, most likely dead.
His gaze quickly yet unhurriedly went from his dead friends to the ten-year old splattered with blood.
Jack opened the conversation: “So hummm… I was walking to school and hum… I stumbled on these three guys' dead bodies.”
Without a word, the burly man sent a punch toward Jack. As Jack had been on his guard and blocked the punch with his forearms, he jolted backwards to dodge the next incoming hit.
The pain in his arms was still bearable compared to the twelve months he had spent under Cardinal Francis’s mansion.
With the small amount time he had before the strong martial artist’s next attack, he quickly unsheathed Bright Bronze Oath.
With a weapon in his hands, Jack had rebalanced the situation. While his enemy was stronger physically he was the only one in the room with a weapon
As Jack exchanged blows with the man, he tried different approaches.
Stab, cut, taking a hit to exchange a blow.
However, the inexperienced Jack was nothing more than a punching dummy that tried to fight back at the one practicing his punches.
Taking hit after hit, without being able to land decisive attacks. The bonks he was able to land were nothing but shallow cuts.
In reality one could say he was getting thrashed.

In the fight, the criminal Jack was facing was not only a seasoned warrior, he was also on high alert because of Jack’s ability to kill three of his partners.
As such the man tried to dodge every of Jack’s strikes and when he would get hit he would make sure to have it land on unimportant areas of his bear-like body.
For some reason the fight he was in made Jack remember a scene from a book he had read before.
“A Blessed Child Part 5.1
-The blessed child slowly arrived at the outskirt of a small forest. There he saw a Yellow Ginseng Bear and a Five-eyed Monkey arguing.
-The blessed child asked the two why they were engaged in a dispute, the Monkey sent two of his gazes toward the child while keeping three on the bear.
-The monkey explained how he had lost himself in the forest and ended up on the bear’s territory.
- The Yellow Ginseng Bear responded with a fierce growl before saying how the monkey came with bad intentions and started wreaking havoc in his turf, killing his meticulously planted Azure Crystal Roots.
-The Child was perplexed, as he was pondering which side to believe, the tension between the bear and the monkey was rising.
-At one point even with his best effort trying to calm the two Beast Lords, a fight had started.
-The Five-eyed Monkey was shrewd as he used a pointy rock to attack the bear, while the Yellow Ginseng Bear was using his strong body to fight.
-In the end, as neither of the two sides had gained the advantage, the blessed child could only look with desperation as the two Beasts tired each other to death.”
That was it, if he was the Five-eyed Monkey or the Yellow Ginseng Bear, all he had to do was to take the advantage.

In the story the monkey never used Chus, but he wasn’t the Chaotic Five-eyed Monkey neither was he the big Yellow Ginseng Bear. Jack was a Rank 5 Noga-level Pathseeker.
With this revelation in mind he started gathering Chus in his palm.
In truth, there were two ways of fighting using Chus, the first was obvious, it was to use spells.
The second method, used just as much by Pathseekers, was to send small attacks made of your own refined Chus.
Because of unrefined Chus's pretty harmless nature and the fact that humans were not able to use unrefined Chus, Pathseekers would have to spend extra efforts before the fights to refine more Chus to battle.
Jack spent six and a quarter of his Chus to send two flashes of Chus.
Due to the close range and the pretty rapid pace of the attacks, the bear-like man was not able to dodge those magical attacks.
Surprise overwhelmed his face as he saw Jack use magic. Up to now, he had thought Jack was nothing but a skilled child assassin who couldn’t use magic.
To survive in the slum, one had to be at least a little bit smart, however how could a thug who had lived his whole life fighting against other Ashes could expect a random kid to be a Pathseeker.
Wild pain started spreading in his right leg and on his shoulder as they were the two places that were hit by the Chus.
As the pain forced him, a strong and muscular gang member to put one knee on the ground, the kid in front of him was celebrating with a large smile on his face.
He waited a little bit, putting on a facade of weakness, a weakness that was way higher than the one he actually had.
As he expected the kid wasn’t ripe enough, he didn’t see a flaw in the front he was faking.
Jack advanced toward him and as he started saying one of the lines of the Church’s bible, the thug struck.
“May the innocents live in the Glowing Kingdom and the sinne……….”
The man’s fist had reached Jack’s jaw. The ten-year old was sent flying only stopping his forced rearward when he hit the table in the middle of the room.
As Jack was holding his jaw, anger filled his eyes, not only had been deceived but his opponent didn’t let him finish his line.
He sent another two flashes of refined Chus to stop the man from attacking again.
And with decisiveness he lashed at the man whose defenses had been broken by the flashes.
While he had more techniques and more potential than the Five-eyed Monkey, maybe he still didn’t have the shrewdness and smartness of the Monkey.
But in the end, he was able to kill the Yellow Ginseng Bear without perishing himself.
Author’s notes:
Unfair fight.
Please balance the character, my main was not able to beat him because he doesn’t have as many abilities.
Please stop the pay to win in your game.
See you :]

Living In The System - A LitRPG with more story, less text boxes
In the ancient echoes upon it’s great boughs, Yggdrasil holds all the knowledge in existence. Indeed, all of creation swings from its immense branches and leaves. The howls that creep through its cavernous spaces were not caused by the wind. No wind could be powerful enough to shake The Tree, yet it rocked. A great battle raged in its dew drops and amongst its roots. A War for control. For knowledge is power, and power is everything. A furtive glance over her shoulder told the hurried goddess that she was not being followed. That was good. What she had just done would be a great risk. Placing a new thread on a world so soon to be destroyed was costly. She would be greatly diminished, but her work was not done yet. In the myriad of infinite worlds, there lies Genia. A starter world, of very little importance. It is where she will find her champion. Killian never got the chance to see the world. Yet he is given opportunity. Opportunity not just to see the world, but to change it... to change all of creation. There are many stories to tell upon the Tree of Yggdrasil, where all of creation hangs from its branches. Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.
