《Hollywood King》Chapter 195 | Worth

(Might have to re-read chapter 101 for this :] At least to get the point of where Bob came from!)
“Mom, it’s finally here!”
Bob Sanders, the introverted kid, whose best day in his entire life was the day when he got the first book of the Percy Jackson series, which also happened to be his birthday, ran towards his mother with a giant smile.
Ever since he had gotten the first book of the series, the little kid couldn’t have stopped thinking about it, or wondering if there was ever going to be a sequel to the book. And finally, after a lot of whining and complaining, he got to register with the Newsletter of Actus Books where they mention and promote all the new upcoming books, and books that so many people enjoy and are confirmed of it.
The promotion of Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters began a while ago, which also meant that there had been a lot of replies to the Newsletter which gained the interest of many readers, regardless of their age. Bob too was one of them.
Bob finally got the courage to ask his mother about the book—but it was also after looking at the Newsletter for a week straight; every day, before bed and after bed.
His mom’s response was simple, “I was already thinking of buying you the book, and I did saw you hugging the paper to sleep last Monday”
The entire day was Bob grinning from ear to ear.
“What? Has the book been released?! Oh my God! Yes, it 14th of November! How would I forget it… How could I?!”
His mom stood up from the bed and walked to the living room where Bob was seated in front of the television where the interview with Ian Renner streaming.
“Wow, it is out then. What are we waiting for? Bobby, get ready. Ah, finally you’ll get to read another book other than the one you’ve been clinging to!”
“Mom! It’s just the best book ever…. How could I betray it by reading other books?!”
“Not like you’ve tried any either.”
His mom said with a smile and walked back to her bedroom so that she could get dressed to where they both were supposed to be heading.

Bob’s mother was no ordinary mom. Although she did things including having great birthday parties with more friends than Bob liked, she knew how much of an introvert Bob is, understood that, and never meant to cross that boundary of his life. After she was content and happy with seeing how much Bob enjoyed the first book of Percy Jackson, she tried to bring similar books with much advice from the bookstore owner.
But too bad for both of them, the kid was too stubborn and loyal with that one book. (A/N; and I believe that we all have that one book we can’t quite get rid of.)
[...] The bookstore was just a few blocks south of where they lived. Walking inside, the bell that was hung on the door made a noise which gained the attention of the shop owner.
“Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters! Please, tell me it’s here!” Bob asked as soon as he walked in and saw the smile of the old man.
The bookstore wasn’t that big, but much to everyone’s surprise the store was quite filled with people—mainly kids.
“Of course, it’s here. The place is getting quite noisy just because of that one book, and can’t say I’m complaining my dear. It’d be $8,” the old man said with yet another pleasant smile.

Everything about this book is spectacular! This book is worth reading. Make sure you read The Lightning Thief first! All of Ian's books are amazing and there will be surprises in every chapter. Percy narrates the whole series with attitude and jokes. Sometimes, I can't help but laugh, and it can be embarrassing when someone else is in the room. This book is amazing, and if you read it, I'm sure you'll agree.

Ian Renner’s books are taking the readers off the ground .his imagination and most of the time there are cliffhangers. To write a book you have to be creative and he has all the weapons to be an author. He earns a crown. And from him, I learned a lot about Greek mythology.

This Incredible second chapter of the series, Although a little weaker than the first, is a Great Book, It further develops Percy and Annabeth’s relationship while trying to travel through the sea of Monsters to save Grover, again, It’s overall a great read that I recommend to anyone that hasn’t read it yet.
@Serendipity
^_^ I would love to say that the book was captivating to read,
Every scene was well described and as you read the book, the scenes will play out beautifully in your imagination. Better than the first and made me look forward to book 3.
@Vivid.imaginator
Good but not that great, and here’s why. This has a boring plot and a lot of scenes are boring but it s good. Like Percy vs luke... Three stars at most!
The reviews and the comments were diverse from one another which also made things a lot easier for all the readers who wanted to give the book a try. In comparison to all the reviews, the most common conclusion would be how great of a story is, and how great the writing is. The humor, the captivity, and the plot were something almost the majority of the people had praised.

“I can’t believe we crossed over ten thousand sales in 24 hours! How could that even happen?!” Steven asked his assistant who kept reading the reviews of the book by famous authors and many reviews by readers.
“Yeah, look what K. Rowbird said… I never thought any book could be written this wonderfully. Hooked, and waiting for #3rd. Wow, these are all great!” Steven’s assistant said while smiling with his eyes locked on the tablet.
The next thing Steven knew was how his phone started ringing left and right.
*treeeeeng* *treeeeng*
It was one of those old-school phones, which he had refused to let go of considering how effective and loud it was compared to all the types of land phones that were being invented.
“Hello, Steven speaking, who is this?”
He picked up the phone knowing it was a media house asking for an interview, just like he had gotten the message before.
“We’re from BookWeds' U-Tube channel. The Percy Jackson series is finally in its mind-blown glory, and the book is wonderfully written, the storyline is exciting, adventurous, funny, and totally an attracter. What do you say, sir, can we get a word with you?”
The male voice filled with amusement and happiness brought a smile to Steven’s face as well.
Although they publish at least ten thousand books per year, from both big authors and small ones, the sorts of best-sellers like this are rarely published.
Even such calls were not a regularity around the publishing house where popular U-tube channels ask for publicity and interviews.
“Of course, I think I can fit you in at 5 pm tomorrow, in our publishing house, would it be possible?”
“Uh, sir, we were expecting a bit sooner.”
“Well, I’ll push you through my assistant,” Steven said and dialed something on the phone.
“And… I’m getting a call, I’ll be right back, sir,” his assistant said while walking away from the office room leaving Steven to himself.
He took a glance at the copy in his hand.
Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters
“No wonder how many times I’ve said this, this man is truly something… Truly something!” Steven talked to himself and closed the book while shifting his focus from the one thing he had been thinking about since morning.
His attention was once again drifted by his loud assistant.
“Today, in three hours! I was able to fit in an appointment for like.. Thirty minutes. They said it should be enough!”
“I’m sure it’s gonna take longer than that. Clear the next hour too, and thank you.”
Steven dismissed him and started to read the manuscript that was next on his schedule.
Modules of the God Son.

‘This better is worth it’ he thought and turned to the first place.

The White Horde (Revised)
The rewritten version of the same ongoing story, recast into Past Tense and lightly edited. Inspired by the intrigue, drama, and destruction whispered to us by ancient history, this story is set in a world where magic is slowly dying, and decadent empires struggle against each other as well as against the barbarian hordes pushing ever westward. The story is told from the viewpoints of three people whose actions will change the fate of nations and empires alike: Amazonia. More than just a female gladiator but a champion of the arena, she will win her freedom at a price: to become a Reaver Knight not seen since the days of ancient Babylonia, with a mission to save the empire that enslaved her from destruction at the hands of a rival empire, the Sasnayams. Wysper. A Celtic priestess stolen away from her homeland by Muzen, high priest of the Sasnayam deity Yun-Kax, she possesses a mana node like a second heart inside her body which Muzen rips out each time he 'sacrifices' her to their god to appease the masses. Despite her strong will, everyone has a limit, and Muzen's actions have driven Wysper close to the edge of suicide. Greywolf. Son of the infamous Shadow-walker, Ghostdog, and the Celestial Asena, who was once revered as the Wolf-mother goddess, but now guards caravans for drinking money. Redshirt: The Journey
Freedom and Order. Peace and War. Love and Hate. Hundreds of young children awaken in a damaged world, on the brink of societal collapse, witnessing the birth of an omnipotent system. Their roles are pre-determined, yet the very fabric of reality lie in their hands. The order of the world shapes them, just how they are free to shape the world in their disparate visions. Each choice, each action, each word, has consequences that reach far beyond their perception. Freedom or Order; ashes in the wind, or the gilded chains. Updates at least every Monday, Thursday, and every other Sarturday, (from 26/11/2021). This is primarily a story exploring what it means to be human, using a lens of a hopefully real-feeling fantasy world. This story is not a power fantasy or a traditional Litrpg , while it has elements of these genres, it will focus on how these tropes would influence real people and possibly Redshirt will break some of these tropes along the way. There will be a variety of different characters and perspectives, some you hate, some you love, and some that will frustrate. Just as all people do. I don't believe there will be anything overly traumatic or explicit, but it's better to be safe than sorry. There will be some heavy topics explored, the characters views do not reflect the authors; however, if there is an issue in how I present/understand these issues please do tell me, and I will try my best to rectify it. HARVEST! BUILD! DESTROY! Total war until annihilation. This is the story of the end of the human race. If it sounds like fun it’s because it is. The Saga relates the events and personal histories of the men of the 3rd Marine Space Expeditionary Force and their bitter MAXWAR (mutually assured eXtinction war) against the alien Krag Subjugation. Told from the view point of the warfighters on the front lines, the blue collar workers who build and maintain the infrastructure that supports them, and the scientists and engineers who develop the technologies that power their victories on the battlefield. This mission, The Maggot Colony, relates the first part of the adventure, where their capital ship, The Good Shepherd, is critically damaged, and a small force is sent to establish an outpost on the surface of a nearby planet to secure much needed emergency supplies and fuel. The situation is desperate, the fighting is brutal and the technical challenges both in space and on the planet surface seem insurmountable.
