isabella and hyde were sitting in his car in the field that they now were claiming as their make out spot.
isabella pulled away from him and she admired him for a moment.
"are you okay?" hyde asked her.
"yeah, i think it's just weird... us being in a relationship that none of our friends know about." isabella said.
"i mean, it kind of makes sense of me. i always thought of you as one of my best friends, bella, and now you're like my best friend but better." hyde said making isabella smile.
"i'm glad you feel that way, i've always kind of felt you had a sweet spot for me and to be honest, i got really jealous when jackie tried to date you." isabella said as hyde chuckled.
"i'm all yours, doll. and you're all mine" hyde told her as he pecked her lips.
"i'm honored. look, not to sound like a debbie downer but i do want to make sure we know what we're doing... if you're not comfortable with this then i understand but i just think that we shouldn't tell my parents about us... or our friends. i don't want you to think i'm ashamed of you because i'm not-" isabella began but hyde cut her off.
"bella, it's okay. i know how your parents feel about me so i think keeping us a secret from them is a good idea for now, and as for our friends, i agree. if they know about us they're gonna be all in our business and i don't need forman lecturing me about dating his best friend." hyde said as isabella grinned.
"i kind of like having you as my little secret." isabella said before going in for a kiss.
after their date, hyde drove her back home for dinner and her parents looked at her strangely.
"where have you been?" bryan asked seeing isabella was happier than usual.
"oh, i was just tutoring jackie in math." isabella lied.
she knew she couldn't tell her parents that she was dating hyde. they would never approve of their relationship.
isabella and hyde both agreed that they would keep things a secret until they were sure they'd be serious.

isabella and hyde were together buying kitty a birthday present.
isabella got her a new necklace with a matching pair of earrings.
the two of them walked into the house and kitty noticed the way hyde was looking at isabella.
"hey, mrs. forman. happy birthday ." hyde said as the two of them passed her their presents.
"oh! i can't believe you two remembered. you two are the first people to say anything all day. and how did you know i needed more flashbulbs?" kitty said opening hyde's gift.
"open mine, mrs. forman." isabella said with a smile.
kitty opened it and she got an excited look on her face.
"thank you." kitty said kissing the two of them on the cheek.
"so, do you two want to stay for dinner?" kitty asked them.
"oh, no, thanks. i'm just gonna grab a sandwich." hyde said.
"a sandwich? steven, a sandwich is a sandwhich, but a manwich is a meal." kitty said passing hyde one of her manwhiches.
"oh, well, thanks, mrs. forman." hyde said.
"bella, there's leftover pizza in the microwave." kitty told her.
"thanks, mrs. forman." isabella said before kitty smiled at the two teens.
"i knew you two would get together eventually." kitty said making the two of them blush.
"how could you tell?" isabella asked her.
"i just noticed the way you two are acting around each other, you know, body language." kitty said with a laugh.
"uh, we just kissed one time." hyde said.
"one time?" kitty said with a grin.
"a few times, whatever." isabella said.
"so... where are you off to?" kitty asked.
"we're just gonna go hang out at the hub." hyde replied.
"well, you kids have fun." kitty said with a laugh.
"mrs. forman, we'd really appreciate it if you kept this conversation to yourself. i just- we just don't wanna make a big deal out of this." isabella said.
"your secret is safe with me." kitty replied.
"thanks, mrs. forman." hyde replied before grabbing isabella's hand and walking her to his car.

the two of them got in his car and they got some drinks. hyde came back to the car and passed her some tea.
"hey, how did you know my favorite tea?" isabella asked with a smile.
"i pay attention, doll." hyde replied with a wink.
they sat in his car and hyde began telling her about kelso's plan to win jackie back. he was going to become her friend and hope she'd realize that he's a boy.
"that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard." isabella said chuckling.
"i know, but it's gonna be great when it blows up in his face." hyde replied as isabella nodded in agreement.

the gang minus fez was in the basement while donna tutored kelso and jackie.
isabella was sitting beside hyde on the dryer, the two of them tried not to be too lovely dovey in front of the others.
"so if x equals 7 then y equals..." donna explained.
"two?" jackie guessed.
"wrong. kelso?" donna asked him.
"uh... L?" kelso asked as isabella laughed.
"also wrong. it's a pretty simple equation, guys. just think about it for a second." donna said.
"you're so pretty. you don't even need to know math." kelso told jackie.
isabella felt hyde looking at her as kelso talked about jackie. she wanted to kiss him or hold his hand but the others would be freaked out.
"that's so weird. i was just thinking the same thing." jackie replied.
"steven, you're so pretty you don't need to know nothin'." eric told him.
"that's good, cause i'm stupid." hyde replied making eric laugh.
"oh, real mature, guys." kelso said.
"you're one to talk, kelso." isabella said.
before anyone could say anything else, fez ran in with his clothes shredded and his hair messed up.
"fez, what happened?" eric asked him.
"i was walking back from the pep rally... flush with school spirit... when-when-when some boys from fort anderson, they jumped me... and they slapped me, and they beat me... and look at what they did to my pom-poms." fez said as eric laughed.
"eric." isabella said smacking him.
"hey, that's not funny, man." hyde said.
"it's really not. they spray painted me on my ass." fez said making hyde and eric laugh.
"you guys!" isabella said.
"i want revenge against those fort anderson snapping turtles." fez said.
"look, fez, i'll tell you what. let's go to the garage, and i'll get you some paint thinner." eric said as all the boys stood near fez.
"ay, no." fez said.
"i'm sorry, fez. it has to be done." eric said.
"yeah, and the three of us have to watch." kelso said.
"fine. but this time, no smoking." fez said.
"poor fez." isabella said as all the boys left.
"great. now maybe we can get some work done." donna said as the girls sat on the couch.
"michael's so sweet." jackie said.
"uh, oh." both isabella and donna said.
"he's just so-" jackie began but gonna cut her off.
"no!" donna said.
"do you think that michael and i-" jackie began and donna cut her off again.
"don't even say it, jackie." donna said.
"i think maybe..." jackie began.
"no!" isabella said.
"i'll kill myself, i swear to god." donna said.
"he and i should get back together." jackie said.
"here we go." isabella said rolling her eyes.
"jackie, do you remember how kelso cheated... and hurt you and lied to you?" donna asked her.
"listen to yourself, donna. cheat-ed. hurt-ed. lie-duh. it's all ancient history. but when we look into each other's eyes... i know we're thinking about the same thing." jackie said.
"your hair?" isabella and donna asked in unison.
"no. that we're meant to be together. look, i need to know that he's really changed. i need to test him somehow." jackie said.
"i agree." donna said.
"you do?" jackie asked her.
"absolutely. if you get back with kelso, you better have him tested." donna said as isabella laughed.

Lina Thompson is an independent advisor who works with the Goverment on behind-the-scenes operations. Her speciality is sociology, but the latest project she gets involved with has apparently more to do with her hobbies: gaming and wild theories about aliens. Can she survive and thrive in an alien environment that turns back experienced military survivalists? Can she make first contact in this new world where data and flesh seems to be the same thing? And if she can, is it possible for her to live in the human society afterwards?
8 169The Core And The Wardens of Eternity
What is the Core, they asked me... It's the light that pushes the darkness away, a bastion of justice, a safe keeper of life. It grooms love and tolerance, embraces science, fights ignorance, sentences it to die a slow and tragic death. The Core... it's something that can't be destroyed for destroying it is to terminate the time and space itself. When the stuck-in-a-dark-age world of Zanria goes offline, the Core sends one of its experienced agents to find out what is going on and to try to reestablish a mysteriously severed connection. However, all his training and experience might come way short as the world sinks in war and chaos with different races and clans fighting for the Star of Bardan, the ward rumored to possess enough supernatural power to create and destroy entire worlds. *** I just changed the name of the series, from 'the Nexus' to 'the Core'. Somehow it just sounds more right to me. This is the first story, and it has a medieval fantasy setting. But, eventually, this is going to turn into Isekai series with elements of LitRPG. So, my future books might include worlds with advanced technologies that might be more in SciFi, including Steampunk, genre. The first book might start slow, but after a few chapters, it should all be properly set up, and by then you should get the feel of how it will all flow. Also, I plan to introduce different story threats that should spread out and criss-cross in the future. Hopefully, I will not complicate it too much, and that it will all read good. I am planning to continue to add chapters to the main storyline here, but I'm also starting a new story threat in the Core series called The Recordings of Raan. There is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.
8 119Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
