If someone were to tell you that this would be the future you'd have, you'd never believe them.
Never in your life did you thought that entering someone's home would lead to so much more.
The thought of having a relationship had never crossed your mind until the day you met Rimuru. He was such a good man and someone you knew you didn't deserved. You were lucky to meet someone like him, as he helped you overcome many difficult things in life.
And the people you met along the way? His people. How could you ever forget them? It felt great knowing everything you did ended in such a good note.
"Y/N?" You hummed as you focused your eyes on Rimuru's. He made his way next to you and stared down at your face. "What are you doing on the roof?" You could only softly smile at his concerning question.
"I'm just thinking." You simply answered and converted your attention back to the view of the dark blue sky.
"About what exactly?" The blue head sat down beside you and placed an arm around your waist.
"About everything that happened."
"Huh. I see." He smiled and direct his attention at the sky as well. "We've came so far."
"Really. We have."
It was silent between you two for just a moment. It wasn't an awkward silence, but more of a comforted one. Seems like something you both needed at the moment after everything you all have been through.
"You know... I was also thinking about giving up on looking for my mother..." You broke the silence. Rimuru kept his face casual as he tried his best to not look shock. Your main goal was to find your mother, yet you decided to go against it?

"If that's what you feel is best, then I respect your decision." Who is he to tell you otherwise anyways?
"Maybe she doesn't want to be found... Maybe that's why she left. I'm just hoping she's save." Rimuru rubbed your back.
"I'm sure she is." He smiled. "You're super strong. I can imagine her not being as strong as you."
You couldn't help but smile at your husband's compliment. "Thanks, Rimuru." He reciprocated your look.
"Hey.. Are you willing to go somewhere with me while everyone's having fun? I still want you meet someone."
"Oh, yeah." You spoke. "You did say you wanted me to meet someone right?"
He chuckled. "Yep." He stood up from his seat and extended his hand for you to grab on.
"Well, I can't wait to meet this person." You took ahold of his hand with a smile.
"I know you guys would make great friends." He kissed the knuckle of your hand. "I'm honestly happy that we decided to get married."
"So am I."
Rimuru continued to smile as he grabbed ahold of your cheeks, hand placed on each side. "I love you so much, Y/N. Really." You couldn't help but giggled at the blush that fastly forming on his face.
"I love you, too, Rimuru."
As quick as flash, Rimuru firmly pressed his lips against your own.
"Oh-" You were flustered by the sudden act.
"Alright.." He released his lips. "Let's get going." The man was a blushing mess at this point.
"That kis-"
"We got to get going, Y/N."
"But that ki-"
"What a lovely sky."
It made you bubbly inside at the physical act Rimuru pulled on you.
Yep. You truly have never been happier.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
