《Law of God (Book 1)》Chapter Thirty-Six

It's been months of searching for a solution to this mystery of a mysterious mystery that is so far unsolved. I still can't seem to figure out who is responsible for the death of Izza.

After I had read every paperwork from the file, I felt like I was missing out on something.

As I try to help my other clients, Jacob was the only one who I needed to mainly focus on. I am doing the best I can to help Jacob. Along with the other things I need to do, like solving other people's case, I really don't have the time, I am running out of time.

Mandy decided to join in to help me with the case. I felt like Mandy would also be a good fit for me to help out with the case. Mandy had also look over the file of Izza's, and as I was standing in front of Mandy, I was at Mandy's house and ask her if she could help me with the file that I needed to get back to the police department before they find out if I had took the file out of the file drawer.

"It seems like it's a false statement to me," Mandy said.

"Okay, and?"

Mandy sighed, "If they told Jacob that he committed a crime, then I can see in the report that someone is covering up someone else's actions in a criminal case,"

Mandy closes the file, "I think you should report this, file a claim to whoever is responsible for this incident," Mandy said.

"But who is covering who is my question to ask you," I said to Mandy, after I grabbed the file from her.

Mandy shrugged, "It's really hard to say, because it doesn't involve anything where it says Jacob is actually the killer, when he's not," Mandy said, sighing.

I sighed, "I just keep thinking of the day Jacob was arrested, I knew from day one Jacob is innocent," I said to Mandy.

"Yeah," Mandy said, softly, smiling.

"I don't see how someone can be so stupid to accuse someone of being a killer, when they're actually the killer themselves," I said to Mandy.

"You just have to find out who and why," Mandy said, crossing her arms, "I think it's time for you to start looking for someone who knows what they're doing, and find out why, because Jacob is going to be going to trial very soon, and you don't have much time," Mandy said to me, furiously.

I swallowed, sighed, and stroked my hair all at once. Mandy was still standing in front of me, with a worried face, and she could tell I was furious about the fact Jacob is possibly going to prison, and if I could solve this case before Jacob even goes to trial, I could save Jacob's life.

"Yeah, true, but with the exceptions of the kind of things that happened to Jacob, it could be a lot worse than what you think, you might solve a problem that could lead to a problem, and you could go to jail if you file a complaint against someone who's possibly not even responsible of accusing Jacob or killing Izza," Mandy explained.

I smacked my lips together, and I couldn't think straight about what to do about the case. I took a deep breath and sighed, then I told Mandy that I was told by Heather about her son was sent to prison after a felony assault, and died.

Mandy was confused, and I nodded my head telling Mandy to forget about what I was about to say.

"Well, I did run into Heather at a art.gallery about a week ago, she seemed to sweet, and all I can remember is that she and I spoke for hours, and Heather eventually asked me what it felt like to lose someone," Mandy said to me.

I sighed and I took my hand, rubbing my eyes with my fingers and I cleared my throat all at once. I rubbed my head, sighing all at the same time, and I nodded my head not knowing what else to say or do.

Jacob had handed over a test paper to Mr. Wiggits, a teacher that teaches English at Jacob's high school, and before Jacob was about to leave the classroom, Mr. Wiggits paused Jacob for a few minutes, after calling out his name, while other classmates were leaving for their next classes.

Jacob took a deep breath and sighed, and Mr. Wiggits smiled, and asked Jacob how he was doing. Jacob shrugged, nodding his head, "I am fine, I think," Jacob said, chuckling. Mr. Wiggits nodded his head as he understood, and told Jacob good luck with the trial.

Jacob understood, sighing, "I don't feel like lucky, it's a trial, there is nothing to be lucky about," Jacob said to Mr. Wiggits. At least Mr. Wiggits was being polite about the trial, and Jacob was taking it to seriously. Jacob softly smiled, and eventually leaves Mr. Wiggits classroom, feeling like he had been mocked by a teacher who thinks the trial is some kind of joke. How could Mr. Wiggits be telling Jacob good luck with the trial?

A trial is a serious trial, it's a formal examination of evidence before a judge, and typically before a jury, in order to decide guilt in a case of criminal or civil proceedings.

I may have said I am prepared for the trial, but I lied to myself about being prepared for the trial. I just really wanted to see if Jacob is actually the victim here.

I would have been more concerned about him if Jacob did actually go to prison, and I don't want him to suffer just like my other client, Hannah.

I been thinking about Hannah for awhile, she's been on my mind most of the week. It is almost Christmas, and I wanted to give Jacob something special.

As we were unwrapping our gifts, Jacob had given me a picture frame of our parents, Jacob and I all standing together and looking happy. I took a deep breath and sighed.

I got a little emotional, and Jacob asked me what was wrong. I chuckled, softly scoffing, and I told him it's a good picture of us together.

The photo was taken in the year of twenty sixteen, exactly eight years ago on Christmas Day. I softly smiled, as I had a flashback of our parents and I enjoying our first Christmas together as an actual family. Jacob wanted for me to have it, to remember how happy we were before our parents had died.

Jacob wanted for me to be brave if Jacob does go to prison. I understood, nodding my head, and I started to cry a little bit. I sniffed, and Jacob and I hugged so tight, I did not even want to let Jacob go.
