PK's schedule was very peculiarly arranged, and students had a week off already. The students had thought it was a mistake when he heard at first. However, they weren't going to complain. Anyone should be grateful from a few days off from school. Saiki was at home during this small break he had. He was going from channel to channel on his box tv, trying to find something interesting to watch. That was until his phone buzzed.

'Hm? Who could be messaging me at this hour..?'

Saiki used his psychokinesis to bring the cellular device to his hand. He was able to quickly navigate to his messaging app, looking through the several messages he had gotten from an unsaved number.

Saiki waited a few minutes after reading Asher's minutes before getting ready. He dressed himself in clothes that were presentable enough to leave the house in, making sure he grabbed other essentials as well. He then teleported to where he needed to be once he was ready. As he walked up to the door, he heard voices inside, almost making him turn around and go back home.

'Why are they here? Why did he invite them?'

He didn't even have to knock for the door to swing open. Nendo, Kaidou and Kuboyasu must've saw him through the window, so they all greeted him at the entrance.

'Great, and Nendo.'

"Pal, you're here! Come in," the beckoned him inside, shutting the door behind him. "Asher said he wanted you to go to his room when you arrived. It's the first door to the left upstairs."

'Why? That idiot is pulling something, isn't he?'

Saiki only nodded, taking himself to where he was directed to go. The house was decently small, so the pinkette was quick to assume there weren't many residents within the house. Maybe his parents, possibly a sibling or two, and a pet. Saiki didn't bother knocking on the door, turning the knob and stepping inside.

And, god, did he regret his poor choice. Standing in all his glory was Asher, who had clearly gotten out of the shower minutes prior of Saiki's arrival. He had a towel wrapped around his waist which caught the moisture that dripped down his chest and down his back. He wasn't facing Saiki, but looking into a mirror on a little stand-up mirror as he slipped earrings into his ears.

Asher turned to Saiki as he heard the door open. "Oh— oh. Take a picture while you're at it, why don'cha..?"

"What're you talking about?"

"Your face is matching your hair right now," he chuckled, "It's cute."

The smaller male pressed a hand to his face, grimacing as he looked to the floor. 'I was only taken by surprise. It flew my powers out of balance, that's all.'

"What do you want?"

The brunette finished putting the last earring in before opening his dresser to choose his clothes. "Right. I can sorta tell you aren't a people-person, but I invited those guys down there because... yeah. Sorry for not letting you know sooner."

"Why do you even care?"

"Should I not?"

Saiki shrugged. "I know you've looked in the mirror at least once."

The muscular male scoffed with a roll of his eyes, frowning at nothing. "Kaidou was on the same shit. I'm so tired of it..."

'I'm not that bad, damnit.'

'Perhaps I am judging you too quickly.'

"Whatever," he sighed, forgetting about he had basically been insulted a few seconds ago. "That's it. You can wait with them downstairs, unless you want to keep me company up here.." he teasingly ran his hand across his own torso.

"Don't take too long," Saiki promptly left the bedroom, irking at the laughter that was heard behind him.

And quick Asher was. He swiftly lathered himself in lotion, tugged his clothes on, threw on a some hand jewelry and they were out the door. From an onlookers perspective, Asher stood out within the group. Not only because he looked like a foreigner, but because of his large frame that was paired with his well-chosen clothes. Kuboyasu and Kaidou felt a bit envious because his looks.

"Wow, buddy! You've got a lotta holes in your ears! Do they hurt?" Nendo peered at the side of Asher's head as they all walked down the sidewalk.

"They did before, but it's fine now. But they've made my ears a bit sensitive."

"You've also got a nice figure. Do you have a special diet or something?"

"Checking me out now, are we?" Asher flexed his arms, laughing quietly. "I don't eat greasy foods often, I guess? Though, I haven't been watching it since I've been here. When I was back in 'merica, I'd hike in the mountains often. But I've just been going on runs regularly since I've been out here."

"America!" Nendo shouted.

'Is that all you heard?'

"Mhm. It's a pretty sweet place."

Kaidou decided to join the conversation. "From what I've heard, they've got some pretty strong people there."

'Though, none of them could beat the Jet-Black Wings!'

'Stop lying to yourself.'

"Well, if you find the right people, then I guess they could be considered pretty damn strong."

"Speaking of America," Aren injected, "why'd you move here? Since it's so great n' all out there."

Asher couldn't answer. He had a conflicted look on his face, as if he didn't know how to answer. Saiki could read it all over his face, without listening to his mind. However, it was less obvious for the rest.

'It's not like I had much of a choice...'

The brunette took the opportunity to change the topic when they got to the miniature restaurant. "Hell yeah, we're here." He held the door open for his friends to walk in first.

They sat at a booth big enough for all of them to stay in, Asher ensuring he sat beside Saiki. He found him amusing. The brunette was in between the pink haired male and Aren. They all looked through the small menus they were offered when they came in.

'This must be heaven.'

"Damn. Everything looks so good."

"Actually, I'm not too keen on sweets," Aren rubbed his chin, "but this one here doesn't look too bad..."

"If you don't like sweets, why'd you come?"

"Free food?"

'I can relate to that.'

"Woah, woah," Asher rose an eyebrow through his frown. "You all gotta pitch in. I don't grow money on fuckin' trees, now."

"Whaaat!?" Nendo cried. "C'mon, Asher. Be a good pal and pay for us."

'This bitch. Don't try and manipulate me.'

"No. I'm running low on money for this month, so I can't," he simply replied.

The smallest of the group did a small, nerdy pose. "Don't worry, Asher-kun! I'll help you pay for everyone's meal, because that's what the Jet-Black Wings should do..!"

'If I hear him call me that one more time, I'm gonna go crazy.'

He clicked his tongue. "Don't make it seem like I'm some bum. I just don't wanna be you all's wallet."

"O- oh.. that's not what I meant! I mean—"

"it's fine, Kaidou," Asher sighed.

Their waitress came by to take their order, Aren and the female speaking a bit longer than necessary before she left. She was around their age, it looked, so it wasn't too bad of him. Asher elbowed him a bit, giving his friend a knowing look before pushing that topic aside.

She was back almost as soon as she was gone, sliding them all their respective treats, as well as utensils and napkins before leaving once more. Despite being so quick, everything looked fresh and smelled delicious.

'Wow..!'

'So good..'

'This is the bomb.com, holy fUCK!'

'They're ruining the mood.'

They all finished their food, looking rather satisfied with their choices in the end.

"Wow, that was so good..!" Nendo spoke loudly while stretching out his limbs.

"Shut up, Nendo."

"What? It was good."

Asher gave him an eyeroll. "So, who's gonna help pay."

Their table went deathly silent. It was as if they sat in ghost town. If someone were to look hard enough, there was a tumbleweed passing along the tabletop.

"Wow, I think I left my wallet..."

"Yeah, me too—"

"I don't wanna pay!"

'You've gotta be fucking with me.' Asher took a deep breath, not wanting to throw a fit in public.

'Yeah, this is a little sad.'

Saiki sighed, pulling out his own money holder and tossing half of the bill's amount onto the table. He may not care for any of them half the time, but he wasn't a complete asshole. He also may or may not have felt bad for Asher.

The boy beside the pinkette turned to him. "Saiki..?"

"What?"

"Saiki, you're the best! Fuckin' love you, bud!" He wrapped an arm around his friend's shoulder, giving a side hug.

'I really hate it here.'

They all began leaving, Asher giving them a quiet word or two of his mind. He was very salty they actually didn't pay, but it was nothing he wasn't entirely used to.

"Thanks for paying for us, Asher," Aren thanked for all of them.

"Whatever. Pay for your own shit next time."

The purple haired boy chuckled. "Yeah..."

They said their goodbyes before turning to part ways. Asher and Saiki were the last two left together, which the brunette was more glad about than he normally should've been. It was probably because he was interested in getting closer to the pinkette.

"Saikiii.." Asher called.

'What does this idiot want?'

"Lets go back to my house! Pretty please, I wanna hang out with you."

'I want to see you make more fun faces.'

"No."

"Yeah? Alright, I'll lead the way!"

'I should've went home when I had the chance– no, the mistake was coming out in the first place.'

Asher took Saiki to his house, making sure they were side by side the entire time as they went. Saiki had no opportunity of the other getting distracted so he could teleport away, so he had no choice but to follow along. He was taken up to the boy's room as soon as they got back to the house.

"You can sit on my bed. Careful of the leftover boxes."

"Why aren't you done unpacking?" Saiki deadpanned. "It's not like you just got here yesterday."

"You aren't wrong," he tapped his chin, "It's been around two weeks, actually. I just don't wanna."

'So lazy.'

"How about you help—"

"No. I didn't come here to unpack your stuff."

"Please? I'll buy you coffee jelly all of next week."

'That wasn't even close to fair.'

".. Fine," Saiki seethed. He crouched down in front of one of the many boxes on the floor, opening it to take out the contents.

'He's so easy.'

'Stop playing dirty. I might have to obliterate you.'

The two boys casually talked together as they unloaded boxes and placed them where they belonged. Asher was easily guiding the conversation, while Saiki would give occasional, annoyed replies while being guided around the small house.

In the final box, Saiki ripped the tape off (with the help of his powers) and opened it to see picture frames and photobooks. Asher hovered over his friend and the box, releasing a small hum. "These are of my parents... You can leave them."

"Okay."

'Are you not gonna ask about my parents? My life story?? Anything????'

'Of course not. I'd rather you not waste my time.'

'Y'know what, fuck it. Maybe he's nervous to ask. I'm just gonna say it.'

'Please spare me.'

He pulled one of the first frames out, gazing at the picture it held. "This is my favorite one. There's my mom, and that's my dad holding me. And my sister was gonna have a little girl.." Asher drummed his fingers on the wooden picture, placing it beside his bed. "I miss him."

"Where is he?"

"He died a while ago."

'Oh.'

"Your sister..?"

"Yeah," Asher gave a small answer to Saiki's insinuating question, a familiar pain in his chest. It's been years, but it still hurt to talk about. So why did he bring it up to Saiki?

'Maybe talking about that wasn't my brightest idea.'

'Possibly.'

"Ah, anyway. No more of that," he ran his fingers through his hair. "My mom should be here soon, so you should go."

"Why do I have to go?"

The brunette's mouth quirked upward, "I mean, I guess you can stay if you really want."

"I don't care anymore. Bye."

"Sorry, Saiki! Just don't want you meeting my 'ma just yet," he buzzed cheekily.

'Oddly suspicious, but I don't care enough to look into it.'

"Also," he stopped the smaller boy, "call me when you get home."

"Why?"

"So I know you got home safe. Don't need your pretty head to get hurt, do we?"

"Bye."

Asher laughed, waving him off. "Bye, pinky!"

'Good grief.'

Later in the night, Asher's phone pinged. He had expected it to be a notification from one of the mobile games on his phone, but he was pleasantly surprised. He cheesed at his phone, sending a string of emojis to Saiki, who had messaged him he was home.

'Only because I didn't need an idiot to worry over nothing.'
