A breath of relief leaves my mouth as I drive passed the guards, none of them stopping me.

The guard that opened the gate for me the other day is the same one that opened it for me today as well. He, like the other day, asked for my details.

I told him my name and the purpose of my visit, and he immediately opened the gate for me.

Fear is what I feel as I park my car in the same spot I parked in the other day. I have never seen so many guards, not even at the Supreme Jail.

I tried counting them with my eyes, but I lost count when I reached number twenty. I don't know if it was due to my lack of mathematical knowledge, or if was due to the guns that were in their hands.

This place is both beautiful and scary, and hopefully I don't run away on my first week here.

I grab my handbag from the passengers seat, stepping out of the car nervously.

This place is everything that I dreamed of owning, and I love that I will get to live here for a few weeks.

But the happiness I'm feeling can't compare to the joy that I would feel if my parents were to be standing here, right next to me.

All I want to do in my life is make my parents proud.

I want them to see that their little girl is going down the right path. I have to show them that the wings that were hidden from the wind are ready to fly.

My parents have always had my best interest at heart, and I know that they are always worried about me. But I have to learn how to fly now.

Yes, it will be a difficult journey for me. But sometimes difficult journeys are what we need to learn how to survive.

You can not always force someone to hide behind you.

People need to grow sometimes.

Sooner or later, the person that is always hidden from the world will have to spread his or her wings.

It is better you hurt your wings flying, then staying at the same spot with perfectly good wings and no experience of the world. Because you will end up running when you see the real world.

I remember the quotes I read the other day as I force myself to walk towards the house- mansion entrance.

My wings have to have a few bandages for me to be success, and I'm ready for the bandages to be put on the wounds that will be created soon.

I swallow hard when my eyes come in contact with four police officers, all four of them with guns in their hands. Both genders are present, all of looking at me intensely.

Anxiously, I continue to walk in their direction, goosebumps forming on my skin when my eyes come in contact with one of the females, who has a big scar on her face.

I quickly look down, holding the strap of my bag with a lot of force. I decide to ignore her, planning to walk straight inside the mansion.

After I've taken the last stair step, I take a deep breath before I begin to walk passed the two male guards that look like statues, none of them seem to move a muscle.

I begin to relax, thinking that they won't give me a hard time. I begin to think that they'll let me in without any difficulty.

However, I am proven wrong when the two female guards step forward, stretching their hands out as a way of blocking me from walking further.

"We can't let you in without searching you, Ms," The female with the scar says, her cold eyes meeting mine.

I really want to fight them: to tell them that I am clean.

But I decide to give in, remembering that they are also doing their jobs. Plus, I have to remember that they have guns and I have nothing... Not even my knife.

I nod at them, handing the one with the scar my handbag while her friend does a police frisk on me.

Patiently, I wait for them to give me a go ahead, thanking them when it finally comes.

I walk passed them, not even paying attention to the beauty of the hallway that managed to attract my attention the other day.

Finally reaching the living room, I sit on one of the beautiful looking sofas, placing my handbag on my laps, not wanting to leave any dirt behind.

A scowl forms on my face when I look around, seeing not one single soul nearby.

Not wanting to seem mannerless by calling out Hunter's name, I grab my phone from my handbag, dialing his number instead, getting irritated when he doesn't pick up.

I try to call him four more times, growling in annoyance when he still doesn't pick up.

This isn't my home; I can't do anything without seeking permission first.

Taking a deep breath, I decide to wait for someone to pass by. Maybe they can tell me where I can find Hunter.

I wait for what seems to be hours but is just a few minutes before I see a woman, who is dressed in a maid's uniform. "Excuse me, Ms!" I call out to her, releasing a breath of relief when she hears me.

She begins walking towards me with a smile on her face, stopping right where I am seated. I stand up, looking into her eyes after I plaster a smile on my lips.

"Hi," I say to her, not wanting to seem rude.

"Hello, Ms..."

"Rowland... Siara Rowland," I tell her my name, looking at her name tag afterwards. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Julie," I mutter, stretching my hand out to her.

"Pleasures all mine, Ms Rowland," She replies, placing her hand in mine. "How can I assist you?" She asks after we shake hands.

"I was wondering where I can see Hunter or Mr. Martino," I tell her, leaving out the fact that I am a lawyer- an intern lawyer.

"I don't know where Mr. Gomez is, but I do remember seeing Mr Martino in the kitchen a few minutes ago... I'm sure he's still there," She informs me.

I thank her, telling her that I know my way to the kitchen when she asks if she could take me there.

Julia bids her goodbyes to me, before walking out of the living room, leaving me to grab my handbag. I begin to walk towards the kitchen, remembering the conversation I had with Hunter the other day.

Diego's life hasn't been easy, and I really hope that I can help him in his healing journey.

I know that he won't be free till he let's go of his demons which include being in the Supreme jail.

I really want him to heal.

I won't lie by saying that I don't like the man. And honestly, who wouldn't like him.

Mr. Martino is very handsome. He is everything that a woman prays to have in a man.

I release a nervous sigh, before opening the kitchen door, not once prepared for the sight I find. A sight that will forever be imprinted in my head.

"What do you think you're doing?" I ask, pushing the knife out of Mr. Martino's hands.

He looks shocked to see me, but I don't pay mind to that, my heart beating rapidly in worry.

I can't imagine what would have happened if I didn't reach here on time.

"What are you doing here?" He asks, ignoring my question.

I become confused when I hear his question, wondering if he really doesn't know why I'm here or if he's just acting ignorant.

Nevertheless, I open my mouth, ready to tell him the purpose of my presence when I hear Hunter's voice.

"She'll be staying here with us, till we solve your case," Hunter says, walking to stand next to Mr Martino, who looks at him with furrowed eyebrows.
