Qu Xiao felt a burning gaze watching her from the corner. In order not to expose herself, she hurriedly restrained her aura and said with aggrievement,
“Honey, she’s driving me crazy.”
Qu Qi finally reacted and was about to pounce forward. “Qu Xiao, I’m going to kill you!”
Shang Yan frowned and waved his hand.
The butler and bodyguards immediately took Qu Qi away and handed her to the police for custody.

Qu Xiao glanced at Shang Yan from the corner of her eyes. She deliberately pretended to be weak as she leaned against the headboard of the bed. There was a little coquetry in her voice as she said, “Honey, my wound hurts!”
Shang Yan looked at her coldly. “I’ll get the doctor to come over and give you another general physical checkup.”
Seeing that he was about to leave, Qu Xiao hurriedly sat up and called out to him, “Shang Yan! Wait!”

Qu Xiao’s eyes rolled slightly. She reached out her hand towards Shang Yan. Seeing that he did not react, she shook it with a hint of urging.

Shang Yan frowned. In the end, he rolled the wheelchair to her bedside.

Qu Xiao’s eyes flickered with a smile as she sneaked a glance at Shang Yan. His body was slightly stiff, and there was no expression on his face. Clearly, he was just enduring her.
“What happened just now really scared me. If you hadn’t entered in time, I’m afraid I would have become a vegetable!”
Qu Xiao muttered with some lingering fear. Shang Yan lowered his head. He held the pair of soft hands in his palm as he recalled the photos he received in the mailbox.
Shang Yan’s attitude suddenly turned cold. He pushed Qu Xiao away and ignored her goodwill.
His eyes were cold as he said, “If you become a vegetable, that’s because you’re stupid.”

Qu Xiao’s heart thumped for a moment before she immediately understood.
Shang Yan was suspicious. His legs were crippled, but he managed to achieve his current success step by step. He was respected by the financial world. Nobody knew how much effort he had put in and how many betrayals he had experienced.
