For fellow users who’ve returned from years past, welcome back. We are so glad to see familiar faces coming to this corner once again. For new users who’ve recently discovered this profile, we’re excited to see new friends join us on this writing journey!
Whether or not you’re a new or returning ONC writer continue reading further to learn more about the Open Novella Contest.
★ The Open Novella Contest is a collaborative project spanning different corners of the Ambassador-run profiles.
★ The Open Novella Contest has one goal in mind - encouraging Novella writing.
★ There is a slight change from last year’s ONC in which this year’s contest will be a total of 13 weeks from February 1st, 2021 to May 2nd, 2021.
★ This is a writing challenge unlike NaNoWriMo
Although NaNoWriMo is an extremely impressive feat to accomplish, for those with compact schedules the Open Novella Contest provides a wide berth in the writing timeline and a shorter word count goal.
★ Perfect opportunity to test out a new genre
Let’s be honest. We’ve all been there, wanting to delve into a new genre but not necessarily for a full-fledged novel. You can use ONC as a way to “test the waters” before you dive into the world of your new genre interest!

★ New Year’s Resolution or Personal Goals in mind
Perhaps you have New Year’s Resolution set in stone, or you’re wanting to escape from the writer’s block box, or simply to set a new personal goal for yourself!
★ Dust off the old ideas you shelved in the past
Whether it be an idea you shelved a week ago or an idea from the beginning of your Wattpad profile, this is as good a time as any to dust it off and bring it back to life.
★ You either missed out on the last ONC and/or have counted down the days until the next!

One day, he saw a game in online website called Era Orbit Online. The game is famous since 2017, and it requires VR system to play. As Nodochi order it on online, a message pop-up on his PC. A Registration card needs to fill in to continue the order. He answered all of the security, real-life data( info and details ) informations. The next day, the game arrived. Nodochi put the disk in the computer and put on his VR. It appears that the game is Fantasy, Role-playing type. As he reading the game rules and regulations, the game glitched and Nodochi skipped everything. He force-transported at a strange deep forest. Join he's journey, will it be BAD ending or GOOD? Notes I want to thank to the people who read my novel and keeping sharp to look more chapters in future! I'm trying my best to find my mistakes and typos. If that wasn't enough for him, he is later joined by a wolf barbarian, a charming otter hunter, and a fire-breathing dragon. With the help of them, and using his newfound powers as a mage, he will explore, survive, and help the denizens of this world. Possibly even, though he wants to reject them, find love among his new companions. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This world will use a system based on Skills and Abilities, with no solid XP. The story will start off about survival, but will evolve to level grinding and then becoming world saviors, eventually leading to a city/kingdom building story. And while this is mainly a gay romance story, there will be some female character joining in later. There will be very few explicit scene of sex description, and those that are will be vague and partially glossed over. Things this story will have: - Smart characters that think things through - Characters that start out weak but gain strength quickly - Realistic emotions and relationships between characters What it won't have: - Villainous characters that are jerks to everyone ______________________ Warning: If you do not like stories that involve gay relationships, then this story is definitely not for you. Much of this story will revolve around the developing romantic feelings between a group of grown male adults.

Rittz will have to go through the usual school drama of making friends, keeping up with classes, dealing with crushes, fighting against bullies, growing insanity, magic manipulation, power scaling and the ever-looming threat of a neighbouring kingdom hungry for war. If magic is the first rule in this world, then mayhem would be the second. Author Note: This is a rewrite of Magic and Mayhem. I've taken a good look at where I would like to take the series and came to the conclusion that I would like to rewrite the story with a more set structure in mind. This is a full rewrite with elements like the story, style and characters changing slightly or completely.
