The lords this time really lost their patience. Edelain once again initiated this mess. He shouted loudly:

“We've had enough, Reind! We will elect the new Emperor ourselves, and no matter how great you were in the battle!”

Valdemir also chimed in:

“Yes, I don't think there will be any progress. That boy must have died down there too!”

Lady Katheryn also walked away impatiently:

“Thank you for fighting for Arglohandre.”

Lord Oberyn and Lord Boris said nothing, just followed in their footsteps and left. Reind was about to step out to stop him, but Jon grabbed his hand just in time. The boy looked at him and shook his head, which made Reind only agree. Robert alone showed no nuance. He just sat there, watching silently, as if his faith in Dannish, and this little Jon, was immense.

And then whatever comes will come. As Edelain stepped onto the first step, Lord Robert's deep voice forced the five of them to a halt. Edelain looked suspiciously at Robert from behind and asked:

"What?"

"Look this."

Robert didn't need to raise his voice or anything to attract them. The other five took a moment to look at each other as if opening a roundtable in their minds. Edelain huffed in his throat, but then decided to step down and walk over to Dannish. Robert burst into laughter, and Edelain and the rest of them turned pale with horror. The whole Dragon skeleton was suddenly covered with a blood of Dannish. Apparently the bleeding from the cut couldn't be enough to do that. How so?

Robert turned to look at Edelain, who didn't know what to say. He only smiled slightly at Edelain, then said:

"He seems to be doing well, doesn't he?"

Edelain glanced at him but said nothing. His palms clenched tightly. Edelain looked at Dannish, still unconscious, with an unpredictable look. Is he really the Chosen One?

--

This time it's not dark anymore. Dannish wakes up in a pure white room. Or rather, the whole space is only white. He was sitting, but not in a chair. When he looked down there was nothing below, but he was clearly sitting on something. And even more surprised when he raised his head, suddenly there was a man in front of him. He did not know who he was, but guessed that he was a man of position, because he was wearing the Crown, and was dressed in the clothes of a king. What's going on? The coronation?

“Do you know who I am?” the man asked.

"No, sir," Dannish shook his head.

“Is the name Sandler the Great familiar to you?”

Dannish's eyes widened. Sandler the Great? No matter how ignorant, one must know the first Emperor of Arglohandre. But before Dannish could say anything, Sandler let out a small laugh, then tapped the staff in his hand against the surface. A sound like a thunderclap shook the surrounding atmosphere. Instantly, the white curtains melted like cow's milk, and the lavish and magnificent scene inside the Glamgmar palace appeared before the two of them. They are actually sitting on a chair. Sandler the Great sat on his Iron Throne, and he sat on an ordinary chair facing him.

“Have you ever set foot in a palace?”

"Your Majesty, I never had a chance," Dannish replied honestly.

"Let's go." Sandler stood up. "I'll take you around."

Dannish was both excited and a little apprehensive. After all, he is also a famous Emperor, belonging to the Great Emperor with many famous achievements. Dannish followed behind like a servant to the Emperor. As he walked, Sandler told stories.

“Did you know that it took us three years, eight months and fifteen days to build the palace of Glamgmar?” asked the Great Emperor with a proud face. Glamgmar Palace is one of his lifelong achievements.

"Yes, my Emperor," Dannish replied. “History records everything.”

The Great laughed, and it surprised Dannish. Funny Emperor says:

"History doesn't record everything, boy!"

"What?" Dannish was surprised.

“History will record what they want the people to believe,” the Great Emperor lowered his voice. “History never mentions how many lives were lost to build this Holy Palace.”

Dannish was silent, not daring to say anything. The Emperor continued:

“Tell me, how does history record me?”

“My Emperor…” Dannish hesitated a bit. “Brave, erudite, a sage King. The greatest Emperor the History of Arglohandre ever had.”

“No, no, no,” Sandler interrupted Dannish, shaking his head vigorously in protest. “I am not as great as it is written.”

“But… What you did for the Arglohandre and the faithful, no other King could match.”

“Yes, I must admit. But I'm not great," Sandler looked bitterly at Dannish. “I did things that I still regret to this day.”

The surroundings suddenly changed. No longer the magnificent Glamgmar Palace, this time the two are standing in the same place as Glamgmar Palace during construction. But contrary to what he imagined, before his eyes was a terrifying scene. The blacks had to carry each brick to build this architectural masterpiece. The whipping, the begging, the pleading made Dannish's heart break. The Emperor trembled as he looked at the scene. Regret was evident on his face. Moving his lips, Sandler said softly:

“Just because I wanted to quickly finish the Glamgmar Palace, I forced the natives and slaves to work day and night, but in the end it took almost four years to complete. Fifty thousand aborigines and construction slaves, at the end, less than a third of them survived.”

As soon as the Great Emperor finished speaking, they immediately returned to the palace. Dannish still hasn't calmed down from that shock. The Great Emperor couldn't look him in the eye anymore. They are in the main hall, where Sandler once officially ascended the throne. He said:

“No greatness is built on absolute purity. Sometimes, in order to do great things, you will have to make decisions that you don't dare to see yourself."

"Why?", Dannish knew it was too much to ask, but he still wanted to ask.

“That's reality, Dannish. One could only keep himself as clean as possible, but calling it completely clean was impossible. That's why there are days and nights in a day, Dan," Sandler replied calmly.

“I see…” Dannish replied softly.

“No.” Sandler turned to Dannish with a look that knew everything. "You don't understand. But one day, you'll know."

Dannish didn't answer, just looked at him quietly. Sandler stepped onto the Iron Throne and sat down. He silently slid his hand over the handrail with a regretful expression. Then the Great looked straight at Dannish below. He said slowly:

“My reign is over. The old king dies, the new king rises, that's the principle. This is your moment, Dannish.”

Dannish kept his silence. In fact, he didn't know how to respond.

“You are the Chosen One, Dannish. Arglohandre is counting on you.”

“May I ask, why this humble servant?” Dannish asked softly.

The Emperor smiled meaningfully. He stood with his arms crossed and said:

“Do you still think you have a mission?”

“As you have united the houses, leading Arglohandre into a long period of prosperity. I believe that I was chosen for some reason,” Dannish explained.

The Great Emperor sighed thoughtfully, then seriously looked him in the face. He said:

“You know… Sometimes something happens just by luck.”

"What do you mean?" Dannish felt uneasy.

“You are simply the last drop of Jaspien blood, that's all. No talent, no mission, nothing, just an arrangement of God. "

Dannish remained the same, silent from beginning to end. So, his being alive as the Chosen One was merely an unexpected coincidence. He was not sent on a mission. He was only alive now thanks to that moment when Jon took his hand, and dragged them away from the battle.

Realizing Dannish's confusion, the Great Emperor decided to relieve the siege:

“It is easy for people to hate a random thing. They get jealous when someone else gets something so easily without any effort. They do not believe that such a thing exists in the world. But despite that, there are still a lot of miracles happening.”

The Great Emperor paused, studied Dannish's expression, and continued:

“I know you are afraid of your judgment and your incompetence. But Dannish, listen to me. When they judge a person without anything sitting on that noble throne, it is their fault. But when he's already on the throne and still doesn't have anything, it's his fault."

Dannish gradually cleared his mind. He looked up at The Emperor, but was still waiting for a final word from him.

“It's all up to you, boy. Tell me, do you want to be an Emperor?”

The sentence is like awakening Dannish. He couldn't be silent anymore. What does he really want? Behind that face, that heart, and those words, what is Dannish's true desire?

“My Emperor…” Dannish hesitated.

Sandler tilted her head to look at Dannish, his face full of anticipation for an answer. Dannish looked down at each tile on the floor. Then he looked up at the ceiling of the hall, the sturdy pillars that kept the Holy Palace standing for so many years. Then, he looked the Emperor straight in the eye. As he knew to make it clear to his heart, Dannish confidently replied:

“Dear Emperor, I want to become the Emperor.”

Of course, the Great Emperor was satisfied with that answer. He smiled and nodded. Dannish continued:

“Part of it is power. Yes, I of course want to feel my power, to become the most powerful person in Arglohandre. The rest, I want to be the guide of the Arglohandre. I want to be great!”

Dannish clenched his fist. He took a deep breath, then exhaled. Strongly Dannish says:

“I am not certain that I will become a blemish-free Emperor. But I will become a great Emperor like you, Your Highness.”

Sandler the Great immediately stood up. At this time, suddenly the palace began to be much busier. In the Initiation room, the members of the Council appeared. The lords, the ladies, the Pope… all watched him. The petals falling from nowhere look so beautiful. And Dannish's outfit has also been replaced with a splendid gold armor, with a longsword slung over his belt.

Dannish looked up. At this point, Sandler no longer wears the King's armor, nor does his head wear the Crown. Sandler in the papal garb, holding a mattress on which rests the Crown of an Emperor. Dannish understood what that was. He solemnly approached Sandler. Dannish got down on one knee, trying to control his emotions inside. Joy, anxiety and solemnity. Dannish never thought he would become an Emperor one day. And today, a child who grew up from the slums, has risen to become the wearer of this precious Crown. Who would have guessed?

Sandler smiled graciously and announced:

“From now on, you are officially the new Emperor of Arglohandre.”

Dannish drew in a long breath to keep himself awake. He slowly lowered his head. The excitement made him unable to breathe. And it was only when Sandler placed the Crown on his head, and everyone's cheers rang out like a celebration, Dannish knew he had become that person. He has officially become the King of Kings!

Dannish strode forward and sat on the Throne. His gaze swept downwards. It feels strange, but it's also great! He would certainly become a great Emperor in the history of Arglohandre. He sure will!

The whole space suddenly lit up. Soon, no more palaces, no more Sandler the Great, just an endless void!
