Lapunta held his soul in his hand and laughed in satisfaction. He looked at Victoria's already cold body and humbly made a mournful expression at Reind's presence.

“You shouldn't have believed the words of someone like me. Now nothing can defeat me.”

"Really?"

A voice appeared behind him, taking him by surprise. Behind him was Victoria frowning at him, the woman he had just killed instantly. Lapunta couldn't believe his eyes. He quickly turned around to look at the body just now, when it suddenly disappeared into tiny light spots into the air. Immediately, all his attention was on the piece of soul he tricked into taking back from Victoria. Lapunta's expression darkened as it, like the dismembered corpse, was soon left with nothing but an empty palm.

“What witchcraft did you just cast?”

His voice rasped like a volcano about to erupt. Victoria still calmly took out the piece of his soul, waved it in front of her like a jewel, saying:

"Are you looking for this?"

Lapunta saw the piece of his soul lying in Victoria's hand like a toy, so he went crazy, madly using the Shadow Knife killing her. But once again Victoria played with him. It was still an illusion she created. Another illusion continued to appear behind him. Lapunta frantically killed her phantoms, but each kill spawned another.

While he was frantically searching for Victoria's illusion, Phalanx suddenly attacked Lapunta from his blind spot with a Qolor slash. Lapunta received the entire blade of the ax to the center of his chest. Now he really felt pain, something he hadn't experienced in a long time. Why? Lapunta felt such pain for the first time. Even though his healing mechanism was drastically reduced by the soul splitting process, he was still capable of resisting attacks, even recovering quickly. But what exactly is this weapon?

“This is for Herone!”

Phalanx's eyes were bloodshot with indignation, and he pressed the blade of his ax deep into his chest. The sound of bones breaking like rotten wood. Lapunta was forced to bend his knees, the ax still digging deeper into his body. Lapunta pushed the ax away with force, but Phalanx was stronger. It seemed that the fire of hatred had forged him stronger than ever. Lapunta had to use all his strength to shoot a blast of energy into Phalanx's chest and knock him away. The ax followed the Phalanx away from Lapunta's body, but he was clearly mortally wounded by his attack. Phalanx stuck the blade of his ax into the ground to get a landing position, and Lapunta fell to his knees. The slash on his chest kept bleeding. That ax… had something that made him unable to heal himself.

"What did you do to me?"

"Consider it your retribution!" Victoria replied emotionlessly.

“Damn it! You will have to die!”

Lapunta roared at them with what was left of his enormous energy. But it was all turned back by Reind's shield. Lapunta received the full power he created, not only that, but it was also enhanced five times. He was blown away the same way he killed Tyron! Reind fell to his knees, hurting himself a lot. His hand was no longer steady to hold the shield. Victoria quickly lifted him up, kissed him on the forehead, and whispered softly:

"How do you feel?"

Reind smiled happily. There is nothing like being close to the woman of your life in the moment of life and death. He replied:

“I'm fine… It was you who destroyed Glamgmar?”

"Yes, my love," Victoria nodded. “Jon says that is the heart of this battle.”

"Jon...", when he said this, he remembered that his son was nowhere to be found, his face was worried.

Victoria clearly recognized that expression and said:

“Our son is with Dannish at the beach. He's keeping our boy safe."

"Alright then I can rest assured", Reind's face softened as if he had been reborn, he felt like he was relieved of all the burdens in his heart.

“He said… he'll be waiting for us at the beach…”, Victoria pouted. “… He said he would wait for us to come back… to continue our lives…”

“We have to win…” he determinedly looked at her.

“Yes dear… we will win!”

Victoria kissed him deeply, as if trying to capture the moment. They don't know if they can go back to that beach or not, just enjoy this short moment, so that if anything happens, they won't regret it.

Lapunta was shot and smashed into his iron throne, which had already been melted. For the first time in his life, he felt his whole body was filled with pain. He felt like dozens of bones in his body were crushed. The slash on his chest continued to bleed, and it was as if all his strength was being drained from the wound. Lapunta couldn't stand, he couldn't even sit up. The only thing he could do right now was watch the blood run out, and watch the people he had underestimated come closer and closer to take his head. He stood up with all his might, drawing strength from Arglohandre's bosom. The ground shook like a beaten animal, it roared with an extremely deafening sound. The earthquake caused the three of them to stop and try to cling to any possible fulcrum. Lapunta roared, he was like a madman that let that huge flow of energy run through him. The blood on his wound continued to flow like a stream. When he reached his climax, he pulled a meteor shower from the sky, which immediately rained down on the three of them. Phalanx and Victoria could only hide under Reind's shield. Looking at the meteorites with a patchy appearance that looked like the face of a demon swooping down on them, he silently prayed to the gods that he could let Pyrossid withstand the attack. Reind closed his eyes, deciding to let the gods decide their fate.

Getting closer and closer, Reind could hear the sound of the wind being torn to pieces…

Closer and closer... They closed their eyes, waiting on a miracle...

Would they ever survive?

On the beach, Jon stood still, with his eyes frozen without any blinks. The boy had seen the ending already, why his heart still hurt?
