《The Zodians - Book 1: The Outlander》The Return of Warriors - Chapter 5: A Drop of Fear

"No!", Lapunta wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with an angry expression, with his other hand he crushed Robert's skull into small pieces. “They are coming!”
“Them?”, wondered as he gathered up the bones, teeth, and hooves of the sixteen ill-fated baby dragons that Lapunta had eaten alive.
Lapunta got up indignantly and strode slowly out the red-painted doors of the Glamgmar Palace. He clasped his hands to the wall of the compartment, looking down at the entire continent from above. Glamgmar is built on a high hill, with cities, houses, tiny people swooping below, and the Black Sea embracing the continent. Lapunta looked far away at the horizon above the sea, his eyes focused on one point but there was nothing but water and water. Lutes also followed him like shadows. The wind blew, making Lapunta's hair and bodice flutter. His silver-white eyes shone with a depth, and somewhere a glimmer of fear.
“Reind and his scum are coming!”
“But how…”, Lutes was amazed. “How can he cross the Black Sea?”
Lapunta was silent, saying nothing for a long time. He still kept his gaze far out at sea, sometimes frowning, then relaxing again. After a while he answered Lutes' question:
“The prophecy…” Lapunta paused for a moment. “They were helped by someone.”
“Then I will summon the defense of Glamgmar Palace. We won't let anything happen to you.” Lutes fell to his knees, his right hand crossed over his left chest, his face full of determination.
But Lapunta did not seem to care much about Lutes' words. He just continued to look into the distance and said:
“Very well… But first… I need you to do me one thing…”
Lutes looked up at Lapunta and affirmed:
"Anything, my lord!"
