"What did you say, Jon?"

Reind yelled in the boy's face, while the rest of them were too scared to speak. They all looked at him in disbelief.

“I just told her to do what needed to be done,” Jon still did not lose his temper. But this was the first time he yelled at him like that.

"Hargnes could die out there!", Reind was still infuriated.

“Only then will La Delpostre be awakened! She has to make sacrifices in order for us to reach the other side of the sea," Jon tried to explain.

“I don't care about La Del at all!” Reind, blushing furiously, shouted at Jon in his loudest and loudest voice. "Hargnes won't have to do it, we'll find another way," he turned to the conflicted Hargnes.

“No!” Jon shouted too. “You can't do that! You will ruin everything!”

"I forbid you to say anything more!"

Jon turned to shake his mother's hand and said:

"Mother, you has to stop him."

But his mother did not listen to him. She shook her head.

“This… I can't do anything for you either.”

He was really angry but was helpless to do anything, only watching his father who was about to ruin his future. But what can you do?

Hargnes slammed the tip of his trident on the ground to get everyone's attention. Reind was forced to stop the tangled thoughts that ran through his mind. Hargnes swallowed a mouthful of saliva, taking a long, courageous breath. She said:

"I will do. Reind, please don't stop me.”

"Hargnes!" Reind insisted.

“Reind! We are all here to die for this war. Let me do something!”

“But…”, Reind did not know what to say, his heart tightened a bit.

"Let me do it, alright?", Hargnes smiled and looked at everyone one last time, a tear suddenly fell from the corner of her eye.

Reind was silent, trying to hold back his emotions. Everyone could see that Reind's eyes were sparkling like he was about to cry. He turned his body the other way so that no one could see, and that was also a sign that he agreed with her decision. Hargnes smiled softly. She walked over to Jon, took his hands, and asked softly:

“Are you sure everyone will make it to the other side of the ocean?”

"You won't know," Jon replied softly, heartlessly.

Hargnes was a little disappointed with that answer, but confronting Lapunta was already a risky affair, which soon ceased to matter to her. Hargnes slowly made her way towards the open sea, which was clutching at the shore like a hungry dog. And the rest did not dare to witness the sight of Hargnes getting further and further away from the shore, then disappearing behind the waves.

Hargnes tasted salty sea water, but it was extremely unpleasant. Sea water flooded her mouth, ears and nose, making it impossible for her to breathe. Hargnes tried not to struggle but still clutched the Trikestion in her lap. She could not disobey Jon. The boy had told her to immerse herself in the sea, and to absolutely keep Trikestion in her lap, not letting it leave a single step. She must absolutely do what he says. This is a great war, the sacrifice is absolute, if he chooses her to be the one to die, she will absolutely do no wrong.

Hargnes felt so suffocated that she could not hold it any longer. Water filled her lungs. So this journey must be stopped, mustn't it? Unfortunately, she could not see Lapunta's head cut off with her own eyes. That said, hopefully the rest will complete that noble mission. Hargnes did not hold her lips tight anymore. She opened her mouth and air bubbles came out. She felt a heaviness in her chest and head. Oh, so this is what it feels like to be a drowning person? Not comfortable at all! If there is an afterlife, she does not want to drown!

Suddenly, a vision appeared in front of her eyes. Something gave off a golden glow in the cold, black water. It was so beautiful… It was coming closer, closer… so close… until she could not feel anything anymore. Hargnes relaxed, she was no longer breathing. The hand on the trident relaxed, Trikestion followed the water and left her. Hargnes floated in the water, her face when she sacrificed herself still had a satisfied smile. That illusion was still shining bright and getting closer and closer. No one knew what it was, and Hargnes no longer had the senses to know.

Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet shook violently, and the sea level began to rise unnaturally. Reind quickly ran to where Hargnes was immersed, Victoria could not stop it. But the earthquake caused Reind to stop walking. He sensed that the sea was deliberately pushing him back to shore. The more he tried to get away, the waves just pounced on him, pushing him back to where he started. A wave of the highest and strongest directly pushed him to the white sand. The whole continent continued to shake violently, as if it was about to fall apart. The sea breeze rumbled, the sea surface bumpy like broken boat boards. The sound of the sea howled like a writhing beast in a stormy night. They all saw in the middle of the sea, a golden light rising from the depths of the water. They did not know what it was, but they were even more certain that it was a huge thing, and could carry an incalculable destructive power.

The sea shook even more violently as the mysterious giant was about to rise from the sea. They saw something on top of it, like an upright log. They also saw something sharp emerging from the sea. Gradually, what they did not know appeared in front of them. It was not a monster, it was not a hideous thing either, it was a battleship! Before them, from the bottom of the terrifying black sea rose a huge warship with sails full of pride. Is it it? Because this is the best thing they've ever seen. A huge ship has just awakened from the bottom of the sea. Jon calls it the legendary La Delpostre. Everyone's eyes widened. Truly majestic! La Delpostre was moving closer to their shore. And look! One of them saw a familiar figure on the mast. The sound of the sea water drifting to the sides of the boat was extremely noisy, but it showed even more how majestic it was. A boat covered in dark brown with black sails nearly ten meters high. The legendary boat had just touched the sand dunes, and they were looking up and down, admiring a giant. They instinctively stepped back to take a closer look at it, but it was impossible to get a full view.

“Hargnes… She did it!”, Jon gleefully looked at the legendary ship in front of him. Reind now looked at him with a guilty conscience, but he could not open his mouth to say anything.

At this moment, suddenly from the top of the mast, a fast flying shadow jumped down to them. It was none other than Hargnes, who had been submerged in the cold, salty sea water. Surprise was probably the only word that could describe the expressions on all of them, except Jon. As if the boy knew this was going to happen. Hargnes raised Trikestion on the ground, looking at everyone excitedly. Victoria could not believe what was happening before her eyes. She ran over and hugged Hargnes, then let go of her and asked:

"What happened to you?"

Hargnes smiled and replied:

“I died… But this boat saved my life. Strangely, I was able to breathe again when I unconsciously lay on it. I did not know what had happened. But I think it accepted me.”

Everyone turned their eyes towards the giant ship. With this greatness, a thousand people could even hold enough, let alone their army of just over a hundred. La Delpostre suddenly dropped dozens of rope ladders on either side of the ship. The Delpostre is a ship with a soul, no one but the holder of the Trikestion can command it. Jon immediately told everyone:

"Everyone! Let's all get on board! Lapunta must have sensed our movements by now!”
