"Pass me the wrapper." I looked around on the ground for a wrapper. There were too many.

"Which one?!"

"Blue with white dots." I passed the wrapper to Poppy who was sitting adjacent to me packing gifts.

"Aren't you going to give gifts to anyone?" Lola asked, walking in with her set of gifts.

"Nope, I don't have any close friends apart from you guys."

"Okay."

I continued editing the pictures on my laptop while they packed their gifts for their family and friends. "I can't believe we will be walking down the aisle with our degree in three days." Hearing Poppy's words made me look at all the photographs I had stuck on my wall.

"I'm gonna miss this dorm," Lola said.

"Can't believe we are graduating, time flew quickly," Poppy spoke. Time flew quickly without us knowing. I don't even remember what I did all those days. We were busy throughout the year preparing for exams, writing assignments, submitting them and then doing lab work and tests. We didn't hang out this year like we used to because of the final year. We have attended a few parties but most of the time was spent in the library, study halls and classrooms.

I'm going to graduate in three days. My parents will be here. I spoke with Vincent the other day and told him to be there for my graduation as he didn't attend my high school graduation. He didn't promise me anything but told me he would be there. Let's just hope that he will be present.

"Ava," Poppy called.

"Hmm?"

"What happened to your internship? Are you moving to the city?"

"Yeah, what about the internship?" Lola asked. I stop doing my work and turn into my chair.

"The interview went well and they are ready to offer me a place in their media department." Poppy's and Lola's eyes widened in surprise.

"Wow! That's good news, girl. What have you decided?" Lola asked.

"Indeed, it is good news but I'm not sure about it."

"Huh? Why? What's problem? You always wanted to do an internship at that company and now they are offering you a secured job," Poppy said.

"You are true but the company wants me to sign a contract."

"So?"

I rolled my lips into my mouth before massaging my face. "I don't want to sign any contract with any company. As you two know, about my dream project. If I have signed the contract, I cannot focus on opening my own studio. I wanted to do an internship for three months but a job is a whole different thing," I said. They nodded their heads in understanding.

"Yeah, you are right, but do you have enough savings to open the studio? Or is your brother going to help you?" Poppy asked. I know they are curious about the money or how I'm going to open the studio.

"Poppy, I have saved enough money to rent a place for a year. And I'm generating income through Youtube. My content has been shared and liked."

"Yeah... You are a Vlogger too," Lola said. "Haha, maybe I should've made YouTube content too." I smiled.

"Never too late to make content on Youtube." They continue doing their work and I turn back in my chair.

I'm searching for a place where I can open my own studio. I'm thinking forward to growing my photography business. I wanted to open a studio here in North Carolina or in my hometown. I'm not sure about that yet.

I will be deciding that once I go back home, I shared my thoughts with my parents, they were happy and supportive. Vincent wanted to buy me a studio but I refused as I wanted to open my own studio with savings. At present, I'm working for the same organisation. I love what I'm doing.

"Why don't we all hang out today?" I snapped out of my daze hearing Poppy.

"Yes, call everyone. We will meet in thirty minutes," I replied.

"By the way Ava, your big pants is a champion now. He won last night's championship." I stopped doing whatever I was doing and turned to Poppy. After two years of waiting, he won this year's championship.

The day he came to see me was the last day I saw him. We never met or spoke. He messaged me on Christmas and new year, which was a big stunner on his side. Then the short messages he used to send stopped. I pushed my crush and feelings aside as I needed to concentrate on my career.

I got busy with my college work and my photography. I went to every photo shoot as I needed to save money. If I'm being honest, I missed him. I used to stay in his apartment whenever I missed him. I even stole one of his old T-shirts which was too big for me.

He doesn't have to know about that T-shirt. I don't even think he would remember the black T-shirt. I expected him to come home once in these two years but he never did.

"Ava, stand up and get ready boo!" Lola yelled.

"Yeah." I closed the laptop's lid and wandered to get changed into other clothes.

I changed into a red T-shirt which had Star Wars written on it and skinny black jeans. I, along with Lola and Poppy, wandered to the main gate where the boys were waiting for us. I hugged them before pulling away. It had been a while since I hugged them.

"How are you little one?" Max asked, ruffling my hair.

"Good, now that the exams are done, what about you?"

"I'm good," I spoke with Julian, Ron and others while Max drove us to a nearby restaurant.

"You going back to your hometown?" Julian asked as I pushed Lola playfully when she asked if I was going to date anyone.

"Haven't decided. I will be staying here for another week." He nodded his head and asked, "You will be going back home, right? And stay there?"

"Yeah, I will be staying there. What about you?"

"I'm going home." Julian's phone pinged as he received a message. He didn't look at the message.

"I'm really going to miss all of you, even though you guys are annoying," Ron stated, looking at us.

"You are an annoying ass, not us," Lola replied.

"Nah, you both always suck each other's face all the time. Not even caring about the fact that there are three single souls in our group," Ron says, pointing his finger at Lola and her boyfriend Auden.

Julian and I agreed "True."

"We aren't stopping you guys from dating. It's not our fault that you three are single," Max commented slyly.

"Tell me, Ava, whom will you date, Ron or Julian?" Poppy directed a question at me. I raised my brow at her while everyone looked at me with curiosity.

"None, I"m not interested in dating."

"That's what you say all the time," Lola replied.

"She is interested in big pants but he isn't there," Poppy commented.

"Big pants? Who?" Max asked.

"Brad McCarthy."

"Brad, you mean the boxer?" Auden asked with interest.

"Yeah," Lola answered him. The boys don't know that I used to meet Brad or about the fact that I worked in his apartment. I thought Lola and Poppy had already told them about Brad.

"You like him?" Julian asked with a teasing smile on his face.

"Yeah, he is her brother's best friend. So our little Ava developed feelings for him," Poppy said. I rolled my eyes, slapping her hand. I don't like the way she was saying it. Usually, I wouldn't mind her words, but there is a distant tone when she spoke.

"Woah! Can we meet him? You know him. I wanna meet him," Ron tells me with excitement.

"Chill Ron, I ain't met him in two years. I don't know when I will be meeting him. But if I meet him I will ask if he could meet you people." I turned my head to Poppy. "Poppy, I never mentioned developing feelings for him. He is someone I know."

"Ohh... He won't meet his fans?"

"Ron, Brad is a hotheaded person. He doesn't like to meet people."

"I already know that, the way he fights... God, I love him so much!" Ron exclaimed. I looked at him as he behaved like a kid on Christmas night.

"So you and Brad, huh?" Max asked with his sly smile.

"No."

"Why? He must've given you his number. Or you have many chances to meet him," Julian said.

"Haha, even though I have his number. We don't talk or text each other... He is busy with his career and I'm busy with my career. It is a waste to speak about it."

"So you like him or not?" Ron asked.

"Nope."

"Stop lying little lady, we can clearly see feelings written on your face," Auden says, patting my head.

"Don't do that," I said.
