《The Reject (COMPLETED)》Epilogue

"I, Rowan Kingson take you, Willow Greene as my lawfully wedded wife." Said a masculine voice, though his tone wasn't too loud nor to soft, it rang throughout out the hall. "I swear to treasure you, to treat you equally, to love you. Forever with you simply will not be enough, but from this day forward, I vow to make the most of every single second that we're going to spend together, I promise to be with you for all of eternity.

On the altar stood a red haired girl whose face looked just as red, donned in an a-line embroidered tulle silver gown, which swished around her ankle, a tulle cape hung over her shoulders leaving a long train being her. Her hair wavy was tied up with silver ribbons, though she looked shined from head to toe, there seemed to be something missing on her.

In front of the girl stood a handsome man with his black hair pushed back, though some of his rebellious strands seemed to fall on his forehead, his eyes seemed to match his outfit, which were looking at the girl before him, love evident in them. He was wearing a golden colored frock coat uniform, which made him look majestic.

"I, Willow, pledge to honour you, love you, and cherish you as my husband today and every day." The bride smiled at her groom, her cheeks flushed, her heart beating wildly. "I knew you were the one ever since you walked into my life and scammed me into giving you my number." She said, making the groom chuckle. "Ah, why are you still seducing me? My heart can't take this."

Though the bride said the last part softly, it was still heard by everyone in the hall, which was filled to the brim with people who have sensitive hearing, making them all laugh.

When the laughter died down, the smiling Witch who was overlooking the ceremony said, "Well then you may k-"

Before she could complete her sentence, the groom sweeper the bride off her feet and kissed her intimately. The bride put her arms around the groom to support herself. Their lips moved in a sync with each other.

The crowd cheered.

When he pulled back he whispered softly in his wife's ear, biting on it gently. "It's clearly you who is seducing me."

"Rowan!" The bride blushed deeply.

Willow patted her hair to the side as she anxiously tapped her feet on the ground.

"Relax." Rowan's arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her back to his chest. "Look, you're my wifey now, so you don't have anything to fear now." Then he muttered. "I can finally call you my wifey confidently."

Willow frowned at Rowan, wondering how he could be so energetic now, but then she noticed that his heart was beating wildly. She sighed and leaned back in his arms.

Today wasn't just their wedding day, but also the coronation of Rowan, as the King of Vampires and of Willow as the Queen.

During the third year of her college, Willow had begun her training as the future Queen. It had started with basic etiquette and ended at the queenly duties, she had been personally trained by Leona, Rowan's mother.

Willow had of course grown over the years, at the age of twenty one, her body had curved up, her hair laid a few inches above her waist. She had also lost her baby fats-much to Rowan's dismay-making her appear mature.

Willow traced Rowan's hand which were resting in her stomach.

"Did I tell you how beautiful you look?" Said Rowan.

Willow turned in his embrace, facing Rowan, she locked her arms on his nape. "You did, a lot of times and if you don't stop then don't blame me for being unbearably narcissistic after today."

"Why not? My love, you have the rights to be narcissistic."

Willow blushed, even though Rowan was always teasing and flirting with her, she'd never get used to it. "Shut up." She said and pulled at his neck and kissed him. Her lips moved against him, this action seemed so natural as if they've done this a couple hundred and thousands of time.

Willow had earlier changed out of her silver wedding dress to an off shoulders golden gown. It was a pleated ball gown, which had puffed skirts. There were sequinned swirls embroidered all over the soft tulle. Her red hair, which had previously been put up in ribbons, was now tied in a bun, her hair styled with Dutch braids on the front.

Rowan pulled back from the kiss and started leaving kisses down her neck to her collar, where his mark laid. He kissed over the spot before licking on it, sending a bolt of pleasure down Willow's spine.

"It's time-oh my goddess!" Melody yelled as she came in through the door and covered the eyes of the little boy beside her. She had changed out of her bridesmaids dress and was wearing a purple chiffon high-low dress. Her hair was back to its blonde state.

Willow pulled back reflexively. Rowan though, was unwilling to let go of her. But she pushed him off when she heard other voices coming from the outside.

"What happened?" Said Renee, who came in after Melody, holding Annie's hand.

It wasn't a secret, Renee and Annie, who turned out to be mates, after Rowan and Annie's engagement had broken seven years ago, Renee had made sure to let everyone know that Annie was her mate. Over the years, Willow had grown quite close to the couple, so she had often heard their story.

Even Lark was there, who had been Rowan's best man along with Felix, who was currently at the ceremony hall since he was also Rowan's right hand man.

Melody was living in the blood moon pack, where JR was the temporary Alpha, making her the Luna of her pack. She was living in the palace currently to attend Willow's wedding.

Willow had also heard about Hunter and Triple from Melody and she felt pity, Triple had died at the age of seventeen a week after she had given birth to a baby boy. A month after that, Hunter had suddenly disappeared and no one had heard from him to this day, but he had left a letter before leaving that said, 'sorry'.

JR, being the beta, the one who comes next in line to the Alpha, was chosen to become the Alpha after Hunter, by the previous Alpha. But his being the righteous person that he was, he had adopted the baby, after all Hunter and JR had been best friends ever since they had been young. JR had promised that he would give Hunter's son the alpha's position when he comes of age.

Noah Reed, the four year old boy had been standing beside Melody was scowling, he seemed to have the same expression since the beginning of the ceremony. "I thought you would marry me when I turned ten." His speech clear, through his babyish voice.

"No buddy, this is my wifey and my soulmate. You'll marry your mate once you come of age." Said Rowan righteously.

Noah's scowled deeper, before he pitifully turned to Willow as if to say that Rowan was bullying him. When Willow saw him, she subconsciously touched her own stomach.

Melody noticed her action, she caught her eyes and asked: did you tell him?

Willow shut her eyes and shook her head slowly: not yet.

Willow returned her attention back to Noah. Even though she wasn't very fond of Hunter and Triple, she really liked Noah, no matter what the parents did, the child shouldn't be blamed for their mistakes, and she had also chosen to forgive them.

It was quite impossible to hate him, he had inherited his father's blonde hair and his black eyes, but at the same time he had Triple's facial features, his cheeks were full making Willow want to pinch them every time she sees this little boy, even now she wanted to poke his chubby cheeks, but her corset, though non padded, made it difficult for her to lean down. "Well, Rowan isn't wrong." Willow teased. "You will find your own mate one day."

Rowan snickered, making Noah glare at him.

Even though Noah and Rowan seemed to be at odds, most of the time, Willow had seen that they both secretly liked each other. Every time they would meet, Rowan would magically find Noah's favourite candies in his pockets, and every time Noah made cards at special occasions,me would by mistakenly, write Rowan's name on one of them.

Annie looked worried. "I think you should both go now, the ceremony would be starting soon."

Renee nodded beside her, agreeing to everything that her mate says. "Right."

"Yeah, but can anyone make sure that the kitchen has prepared PBJ side witch?" Said Lark.

"You mean a sandwich?" Asked Noah.

"A side witch yes."

"You can't say it in that way." Noah frowned.

"And why not?" Said Lark looking offended.

Rowan turned to Willow, ignoring the unreasonable Lark and held her hand. She smiled, even though she had previously practiced how to smile like a queen, her smile came out genuine, unlike the fake smiles she would give every now and then.

They walked out, hand in hand, with the rest following after them, Lark and Noah still debating on it, they separated when they reached the entrance of the hall, Rowan and Willow had to wait outside, before they could enter.

Outside the huge doors, Willow heard a hush fall inside, before it was announced that they would be entering.

Willow had been told about how the ceremony was done, she still feared that something would go wrong. She had diligently practiced walking, but what if she would fall down? What if her walk wasn't graceful enough? It would surely end up as the biggest gossip.

Rowan turned to look at Willow and clutched her hand, which Willow had let go since they weren't supposed to walk hand in hand. He pulled her along as everyone stood up to welcome them.

Willow felt her nerves calm, the previous anxieties had all evaporated. At the end of the aisle stood Rowan's father and his mother.

The coronation had begun.

The King handed over the age old dagger to Rowan, who took it. He then proceeded to cut over his palm, he didn't really look where he was cutting and didn't even seemed to wince, since the cut looked quite deep. He smeared a great amount of blood into the sacred chalice.

Then it was Willow's turn, Rowan looked over at her. He extended his arm and smiled at her, Willow placed her hand over his, she wasn't must find of pain, but she trusted Rowan with all her heart.

But unlike how he had cut himself, he was very gentle with her, he made a small cut on her hand with the old dagger, and softly squeezed her hand, making a couple drops of blood fall into the chalice.

It was time for Rowan's oath.

"Do you, Rowan the chosen one, take the position of the King?"

"Yes." Rowan said resolutely.

"Will you accept all the responsibilities that come with the position? Will you rule justly? Will you ever turn your back against the people?"

"Yes, I accept all the responsibilities and I will be a just ruler. As a King, I would never turn my back on my people." Rowan's voice was strong, his tone graceful.

"Then I crown you as the new king of the Vampires."

The King, removed his golden robe and placed it over Rowan's shoulders. Next he placed the majestic crown on to Rowan's head.

Willow felt her heart beat quickly. She felt like jumping on Rowan. He had looked breathtaking in the morning, but now with the crown and the robes, Willow couldn't even describe the feeling and when he gave her an encouraging smile, she looked away, she knew that her face would redden any moment now.

But then she remembered that it was now her turn, even though Willow felt confident throughout the years, but having everyone's attention on her still gave her anxieties.

Imagining that no one was in the room, Willow stepped towards Leona.

"Do you, Willow of the moon, accept the position of the Queen of vampires?"

"Yes, I do." Willow said, surprisingly her tone was light, and her voice didn't waver.

"Will you accept all the responsibilities that comes with the position? Will you rule beside the King as his Queen?"

"I accept it. I will rule beside the King as his equal, as his mate."

"Then I crown you as the the Queen of the Vampires." Leona smiled at her and placed the golden robe on her shoulder. Next she placed the crown on her head, it was heavy, reminding Willow that the burdens as the queen was not going to be easy, that she shouldn't slack off.

Rowan wanted a partner beside him, someone to lean onto, someone who would share his burdens with him.

Willow rose with the help of Rowan.

"Long live the King!" Cheered everyone. "Long live the Queen!"

Rowan smiled at Willow and she returned it, her worries misting away. It wasn't going to be an easy task, being the Queen, but with Rowan beside her, she felt they would get through this together. They would cross all the hurdles in life together.

In the crowd she saw many familiar faces. Her parents, her friends, her relatives, everyone was attending, she even saw Lark sitting in the first row and Felix was standing on the side, behind Rowan.

Later, after the coronation ceremony, a big banquet was held.

Rowan and Willow had their first dance as husband and wife and the second as the King and Queen.

And then they were moved to sit on the throne, which was placed side by side.

Rowan frowned when he saw the seats. "The gap is too wide."

After being greeted by numerous guests. After cutting the human sized, nine tiered cake, Willow telepathically told Rowan that she wanted to leave.

Rowan did just that. Saying that they were too tired, Rowan helped Willow to her feet, and walked out.

Instead of going to their new bedroom, Willow guided him over to the garden. Rowan looked questioningly at her.

"We need to talk." Willow said seriously.

"What is it?" Rowan's face showed his worry. "Are you too tired? Do you not like our new bed? If you don't like it then we can change it. Or is it the furnitur-"

"Rowan I'm pregnant."

"Or was it the ceremony? Did you not enjoy the wedding? If it's that then we can have another and some more till you are satisfied, I mean we can affor-wait, what did you just?"

Willow grinned, she was getting used to how Rowan speak out his mind every time he grew nervous, though it would only happen when they were alone, but Willow would actually feel touched every time she does that, it showed how much he trusted her, to be himself in front of her, ah this Rowan was too cute! "I'm pregnant."

Rowan froze. "You mean you have a baby inside you?"

"Last time I checked, that is what pregnant meant." Willow nodded.

"Am I going to be a father?" Rowan still looked dazed. "Are we going to have a daughter? I want a daughter."

Willow had been worried about Rowan taking this in, but now it put her at ease. "I don't know yet, it's going to take a while to know the gender. It's only been a month and a half."

"I hope we get a daughter, someone who looks just like you." Rowan smiled as he pulled her in a hug.

"It's a baby that we're talking about, not kinder surprise." Willow frowned, then said like a hypocrite. "Be it a daughter or a son, I want them to look like you."

"Yes, whatever you say, but trust me a little Willow running around would still be a sight to see."

Willow was about to refute.

"Wait, if you're pregnant, shouldn't you be resting?" Rowan frowned. "You should be resting, we shouldn't have even held all these ceremonies. Are you tired? Let me take you to your room. Your head must be feeling heavy." Rowan didn't wait for her answer but removed the crown from her head and picked her up bridal style.

"Wait-Rowan , I can still walk." Willow said hurriedly.

"No, I have to make sure that you get back to the room safely."

"But I can-"

"Do you want me to massage you, I'll personally do it. Anywhere, or are you craving something?"

Willow sighed and stayed quiet. He did say that he would cherish her forever, but wasn't this too much? Willow pursed her lips, she planned on scolding him the next day if he continued to be extra, since she was indeed tired from the continuous ceremonies and banquets.

In Rowan's arm, Willow fell asleep as he went on and on and he was heading towards their room, her heart felt at ease as she rubbed her face on his chest subconsciously.
