"Do I make you nervous?" I retort, pulling his hair right back. He laughs, his tongue poking his inner cheek.

"You don't wanna do this...." Oh, but I do. I bring his face closer to mine, my lips grazing his before pulling away. I rub his arms slowly, my chest rising and falling faster in anticipation of what he'll do.

He looks down at me, tilting his head mockingly. "Look at you...just begging to be touched." I clench my teeth, my hands pulling away, and silence filling the room. His brows furrow. "I mean if that's not what you want-" He starts to pull away, but I quickly grab his arm again.

"It's..." I close my eyes. "It's what I want."

"Say it, Blake." He moves in closer. "Beg for it, and look at me when you do."

I open my eyes slowly, his face staring into mine. "I want you to touch me...please." He smirks, but before I can be annoyed about it, his lips crash into the crook of my neck, sharp kisses invading me senseless.

I don't hear anything but the sound of our breathing. I don't see anything but the colours behind my eyes. I don't feel anything but my entire body burning for him. Only for him. I think he's the greatest thing the universe has ever given me, and for that, I'm forever in its debt.

And as I lay on top of his chest in the aftermath of it all, I can't help but feel happy. Everything's safe. He's my safe. "We have to get up soon..." I remind him.

"Why?" He doesn't seem too fond of the idea because he wraps me tighter in his hold. I laugh aloud, also wishing we could stay here. I want to stay here forever.

"The Halloween party-Penelope would kill me if I don't go." He doesn't budge. "Come on... That's the reason we got together, you know? I wouldn't be here doing all of this if it weren't for the party. Maybe you would've been in bed with some other girl, and-"

"Fine, fine..." He lets go, and I smile, excited at what awaits us for the rest of the night.
