《Another World Trip: Journey with My Cat and an Otaku Loli Goddess》Chapter 226 - Don’t Half-Ass It, Whole-Ass It

“Fine…” Long Di got up and activated his Profound Myriad Heavenseize Physique.
Whoosh!
A surge of flames erupted from his body in an explosive blazing inferno before a portion of it wreathed him in its cloth entirely.
****
“I’m glad you’re going all out.” Yaomu Shou said with a slight sense of relief. When he stopped playing around, there was no one more reliable to her than Long Di.
His current appearance was heroic and awe-inspiring. It was as if he was the very Heavens, commanding the crimson horizon earth flame, bending it to his will.
He was like a blazing god of war bathed in fire. Yaomu Shou had made sure to retreat the instant he stood up earlier, knowing he was about to get started.
The Crimson Horizon Earth Flame heat alone immediately set fire to nearby trees and dried out the ones beyond. Surrounded by a landscape of extreme calescence, there was no way to tell that this was not his domain.
The earth in particular cracked as the moisture within it had been sapped away. Obviously, Long Di was allowing the crimson horizon earth flame to run rampant a bit.
Long Di shrugged. “Well, you know what they say. Don’t half-ass it, whole-ass it.”
“I highly doubt that’s what they say!” Yaomu Shou yelled from afar.
Long Di shook his head at this as he said to himself, “Why in the world are you yelling when you could have just sent me a spiritual transmission? Wait, can demons do that? Am I forgetting something?”
Not allowing anything more to distract him, he got down and ready… literally. Long Di’s body went low, real low, as if assuming the stance of a tiger that had locked onto its prey.
In an instant, despite the lack of an expression, his demeanour changed, which affected everything around him. His current state was so austere that the environment itself forgot its nature to pay him heed.
No winds howled, and no roars were heard. Heaven and earth went still as an intense aura unfurled from him.
Yaomu Shou was shocked upon witnessing this. Just Long Di’s presence alone made him seem like an entirely different person!
His many fights against the Overly Bombastic Brawler Rabbits gave him a surplus of moves to draw from. However, it also instilled in him the conduct and nature of an elite warrior.
D-D-D-Dum!
All nine of his cauldrons exploded into existence behind him.
Shu!
Boom!
He shot off at an insane speed, destroying his launch point in the process!
Whoosh!
His spiritual force came out in full fury and wrapped around his Crimson Horizon Earth flame!
Using his older weapon as a base, he warped the shape of his Crimson Horizon Earth flame into that of a sabre. It was not as solid as he was able to make his tribulation lightning as the nature of the two elements were quite different, but practice was all that was needed.

Even so, it still took shape slowly and surely, becoming something that Long Di was sure he could use to fell this beast!
“!”
The thunder dragon rhino could feel the presence of something wickedly powerful encroaching upon it.
Krrrsh!
In preparation for this, it channelled a large amount of its energy into its horn!
The demon race experts who were facing off against the thunder dragon rhino thought that this attack was for them and immediately despaired.
Their knees shook, and their hands trembled under its preparation. They didn’t notice the pupils of the thunder dragon rhino sliding to the side in Long Di’s direction.
Just the aura and pressure alone that the charging of this attack emanated was well above their pay grade.
‘We’re going to die here!’ was everyone’s collective thought.
Shu!
Just as they accepted their fate, a figure that they couldn’t describe as anything but the personification of a flaming meteor descended upon the thunder dragon rhino with all the ferocity of a predator deprived of food and prey for too long!
Who else could be it but Long Di with a crimson horizon earth flame sabre in hand while the rest shrouded his body? The flames perfectly hid the characteristics of his profound myriad heavenseize physique from view.
Shing! Shing! Shing!
The thunder dragon rhino’s horn flashed a furious light as it was by now prepared for Long Di.
Krrrsh!
Crack!
Boom!
Light blinded everyone nearby as a devastating bolt of lightning exploded from the thunder dragon rhino’s horn!
Its power was so great that the air exploded nearly deafening everyone nearby.
The demon race experts all collapsed under the weight of the two powers’ collision.
A ringing noise assaulted all of them. No doubt the earlier blast overtaxed their eardrums for the short term.
So great was the power behind his blast that blood drained from their ears.
They even found it a strain to open their eyes to see what was happening all around them, but they forced the process, nonetheless.
Remaining deaf in such a situation was one thing, but enduring blindness on top of it was something that they could not bear.
Through blurry vision, they saw a bolt of lightning still violently firing from the thunder dragon rhino’s horn.
It struck the blade of that fire-shrouded entity, shredding and tearing it apart only for more flames to take its place in a frantic power struggle.
Just the lightning being fired from the thunder dragon rhino was enough to cause a prickling sensation to appear. The flame of the entity also caused them no small amount of discomfort as well.
The cracks that beleaguered their lips were long felt by them as they torturously sweltered under the onslaught of this thing’s figure.

Yet, even with all this, they wordlessly cheered this thing on. If it could save them from the magical beast, then they would accept help from the devil at this point.
Long Di gritted his teeth as his body suffered an enormous strain. The destructive properties of the thunder dragon rhino’s lightning were more than he thought.
It ate away at his ‘sabre’ and the remnant lightning that escaped its block found its way towards his body. The destructive energy within wracked his body with pain though he didn’t show it.
Normally, he wouldn’t mind using his tribulation lightning cultivation technique to withstand such an attack, but the second he activated his main cultivation technique, his spiritual cultivation base would be unleashed and he would be wiped out by the laws here.
Plus, even though the unique abilities of his profound myriad heavenseize physique could absorb the lightning, all his focus was geared towards the maintenance of his ‘sabre’ instead.
The only good thing was that as time went along, his control over his crimson horizon earth flame rose and as a result, his sabre grew more solid.
“Hngh!”
With a flick of his wrist, he sent the lightning careening to the side, giving him time to approach the thunder dragon rhino.
The thunder dragon rhino reeled back on its hind legs under Long Di’s sudden closing in.
He could see that the lighting that danced all over the silver scales was nearly non-existent. In fact, the entire thunder dragon rhino’s body dimmed as if that earlier attack had drained a lot of its power.
However, this was just as well. With his crimson horizon earth flame sabre, (that’s a mouthful) he unleashed a slash on the thunder dragon rhino’s underbelly!
“Roar!”
It unleashed a deafening roar and came down with its forelegs in a bid to crush Long Di underfoot!
Shu!
He dodged to the side and let loose another slash on its front leg, eliciting another roar of rage from the monstrous beast!
Long Di could see where his ‘slashes’ only resulted in mere burn marks. The damage wasn’t that deep since he wasn’t trying to burn the thunder dragon rhino to death since that would be too easy.
He wanted to use it as a tempering stone to hone his control over his crimson horizon earth flame.
He could use his spiritual force to compress his tribulation lightning energy into a spear that didn’t lose out to a real one in terms of toughness. But he couldn’t do the same with his crimson horizon earth flame since he hadn’t too much time to train with it despite his attempt to do so during the one-month respite before the Spiritual Bingqi Realm opened.
This only allowed him to not burn his friends to death, but as for the fine-tuned control one would need to create different weapons, that wasn’t achieved.
Normally, more time would be needed for such a thing… that or being in a life-or-death battle with a giant rhino… same thing, really.
However, he did have reason to celebrate, seeing as the wound he inflicted on the forelegs went a bit deeper even though no blood was drawn.
Bam!
The thunder dragon rhino dug its legs into the ground and swung its head towards Long Di, bringing its lightning-charged horn towards him!
He hurriedly brought his sabre up for a cross block before the horn slammed on the blade before it tore through and struck Long Di head-on!
Bang!
A rain of blood erupted as he flew through a few trees before stopping a few metres away.
“Hooo!!!!!”
The thunder dragon rhino revelled in this small and vented with a cry of excitement.
The group of demon race experts paled when they saw this. If the thunder dragon rhino killed that mysterious expert, no doubt that they would be next.
“Everyone!”
Suddenly, a shout seized their attention, and they looked over to see purple-skinned beauty running towards them.
“L-Lady Yaomu Shou!?” one of them called out.
Curiously enough, this one was a yuan demon just like Yaomu Shou. She was one of the few who was slightly better off than everyone else.
“Yaomu Baiyin!” Yaomu Shou rushed over and stooped down before feeding her a medicinal pill.
Instantly, the pain that wracked Yaomu Baiyin’s body faded away, and she felt her energy return to her.
“L-Lady Yaomu Shou! We need to get out of here! We need to get everyone and leave before the mammoth thunder rhino comes for us!” she said in a panic.
Yaomu Shou only flashed her a confident smile and told her. “You don’t need to worry. Here…”
She gave Yaomu Baiyin a few medicinal pills. “Distribute these medicinal pills among everyone here.”
Boom!
The thunder dragon rhino erupted into a frenzy, causing Yaomu Baiyin to fall flat on her butt in fright.
“I-It’s too late!” she despaired at this.
Yaomu Shou only shook her head with a smile and looked in the direction the thunder dragon rhino was looking in.
There, a fire-wreathed Long Di stood with a crimson horizon flame sabre in hand. Obviously, his recovery enraged the thunder dragon rhino.
He simply raised his sabre in a challenging posture as he asked, “got another one in ya?”

One Piece No Go No Ken
Work discontinued and ending. Other authors are free to message me if they want to take it A synopsis serves to attract attention without lying. This is useful because it gives a first impression of the novel, and immerse even before plunging into the story. Unfortunately, it does not count as one of my specialties. This fanfic is really peculiar and I think that few people will be able to appreciate it. So instead of trying to make you salivate, then have you disappointed, it would be better for you to make your own opinion, that is if you have time on your hands. If you do not like one piece or shounen animes, then you'd better turn back, as it would be a worthless read for you. If you've made it this far and have time to spare for yet one worthless attempt at making an original one-piece fanfic, then have a good read. N.B: I do not own one Piece or Fist of the north star, the image above, or any other anime/fictional character referenced in this fiction Please do not donate on this particular fanfic!
