“Not yet,” Qiao Qing answered, “But I will do my best to cure him.”

The hope in Tang Yun’s eyes faded at once, “Did you know that the doctor said he has at most a month left? You have the confidence to cure him within a month?”

“I don’t have the confidence,” Qiao Qing said, “But I must try.”

She then ignored him and looked over to Zhou Xin, “Is there a big room inside the castle? A room big enough for lab equipment.”

Zhou Xin nodded, “Yes.”

After the machinery was set up, Qiao Qing took Leng Yan’s blood for a blood test and started to do her research. She entered into a new era of being busy.

She basically started to forget to sleep and eat.

She ate her dinner inside the study room and stayed up well past 12am.

At 3:00 am, Jun Yexuan shut the book in front of her, “If you keep this up, you’re going to die from exhaustion before you figure out a way to help him.”

Qiao Qing rubbed her eyes and said to Jun Yexuan, “I have a month. Maybe even less. I’m out here trying to steal someone away from the grim reaper.”
