But he was near 50, not at all as fast as Qiao Qing and a fox.

At once, Qiao Qing and the fox had arrived outside Leng Yan’s door.

Qiao Qing turned to look at Zhou Xin, “Open up!”

Zhou Xin was shocked by the coldness in Qiao Qing’s eyes. He finally took out a key and opened the door.

When Qiao Qing saw the weak and pale man in bed, her vision went dark.

However, she didn’t dare to faint. In quick steps, she went up to Leng Yan, lifted his blanket, and looked at his wrist.

After she felt his pulse for a while, Qiao Qing’s face went white. In disbelief, she stared at the man in the bed.

Then, she shot a look at Zhou Xin, “When did he get sick?! Why didn’t you tell me?!”

She basically growled that last sentence.

By now, Qi Yusen and Jun Yexuan had caught up.

When they saw how sick Leng Yan looked, they were shocked.

Zhou Xin felt the blame in Qiao Qing’s eyes and his voice went weak, “Three… three years ago. But the young master prohibited me from saying anything! I had no choice!”

Qiao Qing grabbed onto Zhou Xin’s arms and her eyes went red, “Then, how did he get sick? He was healthy back then, right? How… how…”

Zhou Xin said, “Ms. Qiao, please stop asking. It’s futile to ask that now.”

The key was that the young master didn’t allow him to say anything.
