Three times.

It had only met that infant creature, that human, three times.

Each of their meetings was different from one other.

The first one was not so far from the outskirt of the great forest, that time the infant creature had simply fled beyond the horrific barrier, to the land where the human dwelled.

Their second encounter was of that night, that infant creature was apparently fighting against a group dozen of its kindling, it was injured but hold against them with all its strength.

That night it and its brethren took advantage of the confusion to attack the group of humans, they seemed strong, but it and its horde were also strong, they were together nothing could stand in their way. So that night they did it, they attacked the infant and its congeners and it caused signed their demise.

The humans were strong, each one of them could hold against each of its brethren, in no time some its brethren have fallen, leaving only it and ten of its strongest kin alive.

The horde instantly realized that they were no match for the humans, so they, despite their pride, decided reluctantly, to retreat, but before they could even retreat, they saw it.

Coming from the injured human infant, It saw a crimson bloodthirsty light, and without knowing what it was, it knew that light would mean their demise, so they fled without hesitation.

And before it and its horde could even run to a safe distance, it exploded, engulfing everything, plants, humans, monsters, and even the barrier, in its red death blast.

Even if it and its horde had already tried to flee from the infant red fearsome light, they were still caught in the blast. It had managed to avoid being caught in the explosion but was nonethelessly injured, but all of its brethren, without exception, were caught in the blast and were exterminated, erased from existence.

Nothing within the blast, like its brethren, survived; everything was destroyed. There was no trace of the explosion's cause, and one would have assumed that he would have died in the explosion, but it knew, and it had the feeling that that human infant was still alive somewhere in the forest.

It took it a couple of months to heal from its wounds. And once he did he began to throw himself in a quest to find back that human that caused the death of its brethren.

Their third encounter happened right next to the “Frozen Hell”, it had found traces of the infant, he was indeed alive. He was weaker, blind, its hair which was once white had turned to completely white and was very different from how it had first encountered him, but it was really him. It could finally avenge its fallen brethren.

However, when the infant managed to escape to the "Frozen Hell," it did not follow the child in; it was lusting for vengeance for its brethren, but it also knew very well that going to the "Frozen Hell" would mean the end for him.

So today could be accounted as their fourth encounter.

Once again the child has survived. It survived the frozen hell.

Once again the child was very different from how it had last met him.

The infant, who had fled for its life to the vicinity of the "Frozen Hell," had returned to challenge him to a duel to death.

Its hair was still completely white, his face was covered with scars, and his once empty red eyes were blazing with crimson wrath.

Dozens of black and red thin yet durable tentacles hovered and intertwined in a meandering manner around him to form a barrier and to serve as serpentine's hands.

His right arm was replaced by an imitation of a dragon claws made of the same back and red tentacles.

His body was emitted a mysterious thin foggy substance, giving the impression that his red eyes were glowing behind a thin smokescreen.

The Child then began spouting human's words like a maddened beast.

It didn't understand what the human infant's words meant, but it knew he had challenged him to a duel to death.

Accepting the challenge of the child, it showed up.

It, a proud magical beast, last of its horde.

It knew it, it felt it, it smelled it.

It wasn't an infant human in front of it, but rather a monster like him, no—to be exact, it was more full of wrath and monster than it was or will ever be, in front of him was death, not only his but also all living being's.
