In the middle of a verdant garden, filled with blue petaled flowers, a small girl was lying on the ground completely immersed in a book.

She was wearing a lovely long white dress, On her long golden hair was a flower-shaped ruban, her eyes were of a blue rarely ever seen.

The little girl's name was Nia, she reached nine this year.

She had spent the majority of her childhood here in this garden, reading books.

While still completely immersed in the book, Nia didn’t notice the man stealthily approaching her from behind.

When reaching a relatively close distance from her, the man jumped onto her, tenderly hugged her, and rolled on the ground.

Instead of panicking, she was taken by giggle and laughter.

“Stop it … Papa!” She said in between laughter.

She had no reason to panic, for she has the habit of being treated as such by the man, her father.

In stark contrast to Nia, her father had completely white hair, which he once told her was once black, a very imposing musculature, and the only trait father and daughter shared were their blue eyes.

“What were you reading?” Her father asked, holding her above him, while still laying down on the ground.

“I was reading a book about those flowers.” She said pointing at the blue petaled flower blossoming on masses in the garden.

“You love these flowers aren’t you?”

“Yes, they remind me of your eyes.”

“You’re going to make me blush.”

He began tickling her, causing her to laugh uncontrollably.

“Please… Stop…”

“It is understood… It is understood.”

He then gently put her down.

“There is something I’d like to show you. Come with me.”

Without waiting for her reply, her father put her on his shoulder.

“Where are we going, Papa?”

“To the Grandeur room, The prince is waiting for us there.”

“Uncle is?”

“Yes.”

Father and daughter then left the garden that was located on the outer quarter of the outer castle they lived in.

Nia has always been a very frail child, as such she has never seen the outside world. As far as she could remember she was always in their castle. She had heard stories of people living outside there from her uncle and her father, but for what she had seen the world for her could be summed up as their castle and her father.

Nia and her father lived alone on their own in a gigantic castle, they lived alone on their own but they were missing nothing, so whatever she needed her father would be there to give her.

She never met her mother because she died shortly after birth, but their tower castle would occasionally receive a visit from her uncle, her mother's brother.

When they arrived at the Grandeur room, a large hall that served as a reception room, they immediately caught sight of a very handsome blonde man wearing a blue long scholar robe and a crown on top of his head.

The man, like her father, didn't appear to be older than twenty, and both of them radiated a wise halo, at least that was how she saw them.

“Good morning Nia.” The man said upon noticing.

“Uncle!”

Her father gently put her down.

And she immediately ran to her uncle’s arm with all her strength.

“Where have you been? It’s been a long time since I’ve last seen you.”

“Oh~ Is that so, I’m terribly sorry. Will you forgive your old uncle for his unpardonable blunter.”

“Of course.”

“I knew that my niece was an angel, how have you been lately?” Her uncle asked him to put his hand against her chest, which then slowly glowed repeatedly with a white halo.

“Good, it’s been a while since it happened.”

Every time her uncle paid her a visit, he would do that thing with his hand. When sick, it would always relieve her pain.

“Is that so..., it is good then. You know what? There is something I would like to show you.”

With freehand, his uncle retrieved something from his pouch.

“What’s this Uncle? A nut?”

“Yes, and no, this is a seed, I created it.”

“Our prince created and blessed this seed. He believes that as time passes, this seed will turn into a sprout then will eventually grow into a massive tree that will soar to the sky, blessing everyone who bathes in its shade with good health.”

“Your father is right. Eeeeeeveryone … will be blessed with it.” Her uncle enthusiastically announced.

“Blessing… Will I be able to play under it when it will grow.”

“Yes, I’m sure even you.”

“Can you swear it?” She said pointing out her little pinky finger.

“Yes, I swear it.”

“Nia, could you please go play in the garden? I'll join you shortly, but first I need to speak with your uncle about something.”

“Good-Bye Uncle.” Nia bids, for she knew that her uncle always departs after having to examine her as he did earlier.

“Good-Bye, Nia.”

“My Prince, Why did you tell her that lie? I thought you were just to inspect her health.” Nia's father questioned reproachfully after she had left.

“Lie? I merely told her what I really believe and what she really wants to hear, ``It is very rich coming from you; When will you ever tell her?”

“I…”

“She still believes that I am her uncle. You cannot eternally run away from the truth, She is not like us, she does not have eternity before her, you’ll have to eventually tell her that her mother was not my sister but rather my granddaughter.”

“You keep her inside this castle, but what about tomorrow? What about the future? She’s sick and frail I concede, but she deserves to know the truth about you, about her mother, about us, What will you do? Will you keep her here until the end of her short life?”

“Silence!!” Nia's father shouted, his eyes glowing blue, followed by an intense earthquake, which just happened in the room they were in.

An intense pain invaded his heart, he knew that his friend was right, but he knew for sure that the truth would hurt his daughter, the most precious thing he’d ever had.

After a moment the earthquake stopped as Nia’s father calmed down.

“With all due respect my Prince, Nia is my daughter, I will tell her whenever I will judge she will be ready to hear the truth.”

“I understand. I am sorry old friend. I didn’t mean to get so interfering so much in … it was just that… ” Nia’s Uncle said apologetically, patting his friend’s shoulder.

“Don’t worry… I understand you, it's just me that has overreacted. I’m painfully aware that I’m running from the truth but I will tell her as soon as I find the best opportunity.”

Having come to an understanding, they were about to leave the room, but the moment they did, their eyes fell on Nia, who was slowly returning to the room.

“Nia, what are you doing here? I thought I …”

“Father, Uncle …. I think it’s back once again…I’m sorry.”

“Nia!!!” She heard both her Father and Uncle shouting before falling unconscious.
