Quackity pov:
After being let out of prison, Wilbur started keeping me locked away for a while then will me to go to school. He would remind me everyday if I told anyone or escaped, he would never trust me again. I was now in the same mindset as I was when he first kidnapped me, pure fear yet pure love. I sat on Wilbur's bed staring at the ceiling. My stomach was bruised inside and out from crying and Wilbur. He would always hold my waist so tightly every time I tried escaping. He would pick me up so effortlessly and put me back into his bedroom. I looked at the click on his bedside table, 3:15. Wil should be home soon. George has probably been wondering where I was and I don't think Wilbur has talked to him recently. I attempted to get up but I couldn't. I just fell back down into the bedsheets, sinking into their comforts. Suddenly, the door opened, a tall figure standing in it. "Alex." Wilbur spoke, "Alex, darling, don't ignore me. Please." I laid facing away from the door, my arms wrapped around me. I felt someone get onto the bed and began to crawl next to me. I felt a warm hand rest against my cold skin, slightly making me jump at the sudden change of temperature. "Alex." He spoke once again, I let out a small "hm" as my answer. "Are you okay, Darling? You seem...off, I made you your favourite food!" I nodded. "Please darling, you haven't ate properly for weeks! I'm worried." I heard a sigh come from Wilbur and he walked towards the wardrobe, grabbing something from inside. I sat up straight as tears were fresh in my eyes.
"P-Please!! I don't want a punishment! I-I don't want to get hit please!!" I scrambled to my feet and kept my distance from Wilbur. He chuckled, almost turning hysterical.

"Someone was exploring a bit." He smirked at me. "Now now Alex, I won't do that to you now. I was actually getting your clothes out for school but if you want to stay in here for another couple of days then-"
"N-No!!" I blurted out. "I want to go to school!" Wilbur walked other to me and looked down at me.
"That desperate to get away from me?" He pouted and I rolled my eyes. He smiled then hung up a few things in the closet. "There darling you're clothes are ready." He sat on the bed and pulled me onto his lap, putting his hands under my sweater and holding my hips. "You okay with this?" I nodded and he smiled.

"Trust me I know." I smiled.
"Alex,"
"Mhmmm?"
"I'm sorry." I flinched at the words.
"What for??" I questioned.
"For hurting you, for torturing you, for trapping you." I chuckled.
"It's fine." There was a silence between us and he sighed.
"But it isn't, is it?" He kept his head in my neck.
"W-What do you mean?" He sat up normally and looked at me.
"It's not fine is it?"
"I-"
"I shouldn't do this to you."
"You shouldn't but I still love you."
"You do?" I smiled.
"Yes."
"Really?"
"Yes I do Wil!" I chuckled. He only smiled weakly then picked me up off his lap and put me on his bed, then walked into the bathroom. Something is wrong.

The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.

PS: This is my first fiction, so I would really appreciate some feedback, since I don't know if it is any good at all. Also, the creator of the cover is winRoot.
