Chapter 1249: 1249
Chapter 1249: Double Kill
Under Ou Yangming’s spear, the shield wall that was flickering with thick runes exploded with a bang. It was as fragile as tofu.
“How could it be!” The rock sparrow’s expression changed.
It had not expected such a situation.
Its divine ability was incomparably powerful. Even its second older sister and the others would not be able to break it so easily. Just how much power did that Devil Dweller have!
Without any time to think, the rock sparrow hurriedly retreated. At the same time, it used its divine ability a few more times.
Shield walls drilled out from the ground one by one like bamboo shoots after rain. These shield walls were summoned too hastily. Compared to the first one, there was a big gap. They could only play a role in reducing damages.
The Reincarnation Spear came from the sky like a hot knife cutting through butter.
“Boom, boom, boom…” Shield walls exploded one after another.
Only then did the rock sparrow realize that all its efforts were in vain. It hurriedly flew up and narrowly avoided Ou Yangming’s spear.
‘So close!’ The rock sparrow widened its eyes. The strength of this Devil Dweller had exceeded its expectations. Its excitement of breaking through to a Devil King instantly disappeared. Ou Yangming’s spear was like a basin of cold water pouring down on the rock sparrow’s head, allowing it to understand the harsh reality.
“Brother, let’s discuss this between us. We’ll split the treasures behind this waterfall between the two of us!” The rock sparrow wanted to stall for time.
At the same time, it hurriedly sent a voice transmission to its second older sister, urging it to come over quickly.
As long as its second older sister came here, the two of them working together would be able to easily kill this formidable fellow.
Unfortunately, Ou Yangming did not have any plans to negotiate with it.
The rock sparrow’s delaying plan was destroyed.
“It’s already too late!” Ou Yangming said coldly.
In Ou Yangming’s heart, although this fellow had some skills, they just made it look good on the outside.
In just one move, Ou Yangming had understood the rock sparrow’s strength. In the second step of the law boundary, this fellow could only be considered as a beginner. It could not even be compared to a person of Li Daoyi’s boundary.
It could not be compared to Li Daoyi. Compared to Ou Yangming, whose strength had skyrocketed, the difference was even more exaggerated.
Ou Yangming raised his long spear and used his actions to explain his attitude.
The rock sparrow hurriedly retreated.
From the opponent’s spear, it sensed a very dangerous aura. If it was hit by the spear, it might be killed here.
‘How could the Devil Dwellers have such a powerful existence?’
The rock sparrow flashed quickly as it roared in its heart.
It was not that the rock sparrow had never seen a Devil-King-level Devil Dweller. Its big brother had even killed one of them in the past. Nonetheless, it had never seen a Devil Dweller who used a long spear. It had never heard of such a powerful Devil Dweller.
The rock sparrow was jumping rapidly in the air. It did not dare to have any contact with Ou Yangming. It could only rely on its agile body and speed to maintain a safe distance from the Devil Dweller.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!”
At the spur of the moment, 3 Earthly Spikes condensed in the air and stabbed toward Ou Yangming’s eyes.
The rock sparrow found an opportunity to counterattack.
Ou Yangming sneered and swung the Reincarnation Spear again. The 3 spikes that were flying toward him instantly disintegrated and turned into dust in the air.
He was much stronger than the rock sparrow. Together with the Acquired Taoist Tool, the Reincarnation Spear, he could kill the other party without any room for retaliation.
‘Second Elder Sister, come quickly, I can’t hold on much longer!’ The rock sparrow kept calling out in his heart.
Its heart was already filled with fear. This fellow was too powerful and not on the same level as it at all.
The rock sparrow’s mood plunged.
Originally, it wanted to rely on itself to get rid of this Devil Dweller, but it soon realized that it was no match for him. It planned to pester this Devil Dweller and to wait until its second older sister came here. It would then join hands with its second older sister to kill this guy. Nevertheless, the rock sparrow suddenly realized that it did not even have the chance to stall the other party.
It even had to be on tenterhooks at all times, afraid that it would be killed by the spear in one shot.
“No!”
The rock sparrow released its sharp Earthly Spikes again, then it immediately turned around. With a flap of its wings, it flew out like a meteor.
It intended to escape. If it stayed here, it would face the danger of death at any time.
“Trying to escape? Let’s see where you can go!” Ou Yangming’s eyes flashed with a cold light, and he shouted coldly.
“Freeze! “The power of the law of time suddenly appeared.
The rock sparrow’s body paused in the air. It suddenly found that a powerful pulling force appeared around its body. This force restricted its movements as if it had fallen into a muddy swamp.
‘How’s this possible? What kind of attack is this?’
The Rock Sparrow roared in its heart. It hurriedly struggled, wanting to escape from this swamp.
In the Fallen Land, the rock sparrow had never found such a similar attack method. There was not even the power of laws here.
Struggling was only futile.
The rock sparrow’s speed decreased, and Ou Yangming quickly flew over. The long spear carried a bone-piercing chill, causing the rock sparrow’s body to turn cold.
“No!” The rock sparrow cried out in despair.
It did not want to die. It had just broken through to become a Devil King Realm and had not enjoyed the pleasure of this boundary yet.
As it watched the Reincarnation Spear gradually approach, it did not have any chance to resist.
If it had another chance, it would not choose to come here.
“Stop!”
In the sky, a Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox flew over quickly. It was very fast. While it was flying, the long whip in its hand was suddenly thrown in the direction of the rock sparrow. It was incredibly fast as if it was teleporting.
“Second Elder Sister, save me…”
The rock sparrow roared loudly. After seeing the Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox, a glimmer of hope was ignited in its heart again.

Soon, the long whip broke through the air and quickly rolled up the rock sparrow’s body. Following that, it pulled the sparrow out of the control of the law of time.
“Where do you think you’re going!” Ou Yangming instantly sped up and chased after it.
“Heaven’s Destruction!”
On the Reincarnation Spear, a huge horned dragon suddenly rushed out. The dragon was more than 10 times faster than the rock sparrow. It opened its bloody mouth and instantly swallowed the rock sparrow into its stomach.
A few feathers fell from the sky…
In the sky, the rock sparrow’s body had already disappeared without a trace.
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox also stared blankly at the empty whip in its hand. In the end, it still could not save its third younger brother.
Dead…
Its third younger brother was killed by this Devil Dweller!
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s eyes were red. The 3 siblings of Plum Mountain had deep feelings for each other. They had killed countless people, but they were all honest with each other.
“Why did you kill him?”
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s voice was ice cold. The temperature of the surrounding air seemed to have plummeted.
Ou Yangming held the Reincarnation Spear in his hand and said indifferently, “It wanted to kill me, so I can’t let it go.”
There was no reason, and that was all.
Everyone in the world bustled for profits. The rock sparrow wanted to obtain the place that was suspected to be an Ancient Devil God’s training ground. Ou Yangming treated that place as his territory. Both sides were only fighting for profit.
“You’re courting death!” The fox’s long whip tore through the air, and the space could not help but tremble.
This whip was filled with anger.
Ou Yangming waved the long spear in his hand. The long whip did not clash with the Reincarnation Spear. Instead, it wrapped around the spear and pulled it with force.
The Reincarnation Spear was almost out of Ou Yangming’s hand!
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox had become a Devil King for many years. It had rich battle experience, and its strength was not something the rock sparrow could compare to. It knew that as long as it took Ou Yangming’s weapon, his strength would be greatly damaged.
Having said that, it had underestimated Ou Yangming’s strength.
“Come here!” The muscles in Ou Yangming’s hands bulged. He was no longer that delicate little boy. Even a prehistoric ancient monster might not be his match in terms of strength.
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s body flew toward Ou Yangming uncontrollably.
It gritted its teeth and had no choice but to let go of its control over the Reincarnation Spear.
“Still!” Ou Yangming used the law of time again.
While the law had not reached the second step, it had become a move that Ou Yangming was very familiar with.
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox was shocked!
It had seen Ou Yangming use this move from afar just now. It was because of this move that its third younger brother, who was incredibly fast, was killed by him.
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s body was emitting a faint golden light.
It was unknown what kind of treasure this light came from, but it had a slight weakening effect on Ou Yangming’s law.
After all, the law of time had not reached the second step. Even though the Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s body was affected, the effect was not very big.
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox pulled itself out. 2 red lights appeared in its pupils, and the lights instantly enveloped Ou Yangming.
“It’s just an illusion!”
Ou Yangming once again saw some scenes that he did not want to see. He had experienced such a situation when he was fighting with the master of the fierce tiger.
He was prepared. When the red lights flashed, he avoided eye contact with the Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox.
“Break, break, break!”
The power of the law of Yin and Yang was released, protecting Ou Yangming’s body.
At the same time, the Reincarnation Spear in his hand was swung out again.
The silver spear was like a horned dragon rising out of the sea, directly breaking through the layer of red mists.
The black and white air currents erupted majestically, covering half of the sky.
“Heaven’s Destruction!” Ou Yangming’s gaze focused, and the Reincarnation Spear left his hand.
The long spear turned into tens of thousands of densely packed Reincarnation Spears, whistling in the direction of the Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox.
“Puf, puff, puff!”
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox waved the long whip in its hand. It desperately resisted, but it was still unable to escape from Ou Yangming’s attack.
Ou Yangming did not want to waste time. He chose to end the battle as soon as possible.
“Hiss…!”
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s body was torn open in the air. It spat out large mouthfuls of blood with a look of disbelief in its eyes.
‘How could this Devil Dweller be so powerful? Where did this miraculous move come from?
‘It’s likely that Big Brother can’t compare to him.’
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s expression was somewhat sorrowful. Its body floated down from the sky. As it looked at the Reincarnation Spear that was getting closer, it sent the last voice transmission in its life.
In the void, Ou Yangming, who had rushed over, also changed his move. He raised the Reincarnation Spear and smashed it from the sky.
“Rumble!”
The Seven-tailed Heavenly Fox’s body crashed into the ground, and it lost its life force.
At the last moment, Ou Yangming withdrew the spear and left it with a whole carcass.
“Your love for each other as siblings is touching, but we’re still enemies.”
Ou Yangming sighed. After killing the rock sparrow, he had decided that he could not show mercy. 2 piles of treasures appeared on the ground. The creatures in the Fallen Land seemed to be proficient in a technique of the inner world. They could suck everything into their bodies.
When their original bodies died, the treasures in their bodies would appear.
Of course, there were no interspatial bags or anything like that here.
Ou Yangming kept those treasures then put away the Reincarnation Spear and flew toward the waterfall again.
“This time, I should be close.”

Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.

It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts.
