THIRD PERSON POV-

Looking at himself in the mirror for the hundredth time, Taehyung nodded to himself. He was about to turn away when he remembered something. Picking up the perfume, he looked at it with a smile and sprayed a little on his wrist to smell it. The boy thought for a moment before bathing himself in the sweet fragrance and going out of the room.

Ara was jumping in the living room excitedly while Taegguk was busy scrolling his phone. Some were sitting on the couches laughing, watching the little girl dancing around happily while a few were still in their room getting ready.

Jungkook smiled when he saw his husband walking towards them.

Taehyung looked so sophisticated wearing a white shirt with green floral print and blue capris, blue eyes shining brightly and the boxy smiled turned into a shy one as soon as his eyes met Jungkook's soft ones.

The blonde looked down shyly as he walked ahead to sit beside Taegguk who immediately locked his phone and sat straight.

''Mom....Where is your soulmate? We are waiting since ages.'' Taegguk asked looking around. All of them were going to the beach today and It has been more than half an hour since they were waiting for Taehyung and Jimin coz Jin has already told them that it will take him around an hour to get ready.

''I don't know, Gguk, I w-.....Wait! Did you apply sunscreen?'' He asked pausing. Taegguk bit on his tongue and shook his head sheepishly making the blonde sigh.

''I told you, Gguk to not forget that. Sunrays at this hour of the day are very harsh. You can get sunburns.'' Taehyung scolded his son who stood up immediately.

''I'll do that right now, Mom.'' With that, he walked off and the blonde shook his head looking at Taegguk's retreating back but he looked at Jungkook confusedly when he saw his husband smiling at him.

Taehyung raised his eyebrow asking the ravenette why he was smiling to which he only got a shake of head in response. The blonde made a face and looked at Ara who was now watching Taehyung as she thought something.

''What happened, baby?'' He asked encouraging the girl who looked at Jungkook before looking back at Taehyung.

''Taetae Uncle...why didn't you ask Kookie Uncle if he had applied that sunscreen cream or not?'' She asked putting her hands on her hips making Taehyung's eyes widen. Namjoon and Yoongi also looked at the little girl with astonishment while Jungkook's eyes brighten in surprise.

The blonde licked his lips and looked at the three boys nervously before looking back at the girl.

''T-That's because your Kookie Uncle is a big boy...he k-knows how to take c-care of himself.'' The blonde replied smiling unsurely at the girl who was looking at him narrowly.

''Then why did you ask Ggukie Hyung?''

''Because he is a k-kid.''

''But he is older to me.....''

''I am s-sorry...'' Taehyung didn't know what to reply so he ended up apologising to the girl who glared at the blonde cutely.

''My Dad is also a big boy but Mumma applied sunscreen to his face with his own hands..'' The girl spoke again after a few moments making Taehyung fidget with his fingers.

''So?''

''So you should also apply sunscreen to Kookie Uncle!'' The girl replied brightly. Namjoon and Yoongi supressed their laugh looking at red face of Taehyung while the blonde looked at his husband who tilted his head nodding innocently.

The blue eyed male looked back at the girl before licking his lips.

''But your Kookie uncle must have applied it already, Ara...'' The blonde said looking at Ara. The girl made a thinking face before turning to look at his favourite Kookie Uncle.

''Have you, Kookie Uncle?'' She asked innocently and even when Jungkook had actually applied the sunscreen, he shook his head with a little pout adoring his beautiful lips.

The ravenette acted so innocent that no one would say he was lying.

Ara smiled and looked back at Taehyung.

''C'mon Taetae Uncle.....we will get late.'' The girl whined dramatically stomping her feet making Taehyung nod his head hesitantly.

''O-Okay....lemme b-bring the cream.''

''Wait....I have it with me.'' The girl stopped Taehyung when he was about to stand up only to open her purse and take out a sunscreen cream. While Namjoon and Yoongi witnessed the interesting scene unfolding in front of their eyes, Jungkook was jumping around in happiness at the back of his mind.

Taehyung took the cream from girl's hand and looked at it.

''But this is a baby cream, Ara...lemme bring mine.'' The blonde said making the girl shake her head.

''Nope.....Look at Kookie Uncle. His skin is also soft like a baby.....you just apply this cream to him.'' The girl ordered like some princess and Jungkook was happily waiting for Taehyung to walk over to him.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook only to lick his lips. The blue eyed male took a deep breathe before walking over to his husband and sitting down beside him. Jungkook smiled widely, putting his bunny teeth on display for Taehyung as he turned towards his husband and even when the blonde was nervous, he couldn't control himself from smiling just a little.

The ravenette pointed towards the cream in Taehyung's hands with his eyes making his husband nod nervously. He uncapped it and took out a small amount of cream.

Taegguk halted in his steps when he saw the blonde sitting beside Jungkook and taking out the cream slowly. He looked at Ara with knitted brows only to smile brightly later when the girl showed him a thumbs up.

The blonde took a small amount on his fingertips before looking at Jungkook. Taehyung hesitantly took his fingers to the ravenette's face and started applying the cream slowly. Jungkook sat in his place looking at his beautiful husband with heart eyes while Taehyung focused on applying the cream while biting on his lip every now and then.

The blonde could feel his face heating up under the loving, intense gaze of his husband so he did his best to avoid any kind of eye contact with the ravenette. Once done, the blonde took a deep breathe and looked at Jungkook who was lost in him.

''I-Its done.'' Taehyung informed when his husband kept looking at him unblinking. Yoongi and Namjoon couldn't help looking away with a smile while Taegguk didn't know what went into his eyes to make them water.

He wiped his eyes and came forward bouncing in his steps with a bright smile on his face.

Taehyung was still trying to get habitual with Jungkook's eyes on him when Jimin came out and the way Yoongi's jaw went slack, it made everyone look into the direction.

Taehyung's eyes widen and he gulped in embarrassment watching his soulmate wearing that see through t-shirt and jeans shorts. The silver hairs styled to look careless and the sinful lips glistening with lip gloss, it made him look effortlessly seductive.

''Hey everyone......I am ready!'' Jimin announced excitedly and Taegguk covered Ara's innocent eyes and the boy himself tried to look away from those milky thighs.

''What happened? Why are you all so shocked?'' The silver haired boy asked getting confused when no one replied him. Yoongi immediately got up once his mind started functioning again and walked over to his boyfriend.

Removing his shirt, he tied it around the silver haired boy's waist without saying anything, somehow covering those thighs from the world but that shirt couldn't do much to serve the purpose.

Jimin made a face but he didn't say anything. Yoongi was about to say something when Jin came there in a hurry.

"Hey everyone....Let's go. I am ready!'' He informed taking everyone's attention away from Jimin.

All of them nodded and stood up to walk out. Taehyung pulled Jimin by his wrist to his side and glared at the boy making Jimin raise his eyebrow in question.

''What are you doing, Chim?'' He whisper asked his soulmate who looked around before looking back at Taehyung.

''What am I doing?'' The question was so innocent that no one believe it was spoken by Park Jimin's not so innocent mouth.

''What the hell are you wearing?'' Taehyung finally asked pointing towards the shorts Jimin was wearing. The silver haired boy chuckled and threw his arm around the blonde's shoulder before pulling Taehyung towards himself.

''These are called shorts.'' He replied winking and Taehyung rolled his eyes.

''Oh Wow! I didn't know that.'' A very sarcastic reply from Jeon Taehyung made Jimin's teasing smile disappear. He looked around them once again. Everyone was walking ahead of them giving them all the space to whisper talk.

''The place we are going, its not that holy, Tae... You will understand the purpose of these shorts soon.'' He winked again and walked away leaving Taehyung looking at his retreating back and as told by Park Jimin, the beach was not much of a family spot.

The girls with their tan skin sunbathed in almost no clothes on making their skin glisten. The way some girls were giving massage to men made the blonde almost gag. People played volleyball and other water sports like surfing and Taehyung looked at Taegguk who was trying his best to not look around at the girls showing off their bodies shamelessly while Ara bounced walked ahead of everyone playing with her straw hat not giving a fuck to what was happening around.

Jin also looked comfortable with the sight and that's when Taehyung realised that he was being uncomfortable because all of it was new to him as he never had been to a beach before.

Maybe that's how a beach is supposed to be.

The blonde was still looking around when his eyes stopped at Yoongi walking beside Jimin holding the silver haired boy's petite waist possessively while Jimin talked to Taegguk about something and that's when he questioned where his own husband was.

The boy looked around and he found his husband walking just behind him with eyes glaring at something. Taehyung looked into the direction to see a man licking his lips and walking away from there in a hurry after sparing a glance to the blonde and Taehyung couldn't help but feel butterflies in his belly when he realised what it could be about.

Jungkook raised his eyebrow in question when he saw Taehyung looking at him with a smile.

''What happened, Baby?'' The ravenette asked, the pet name rolling off so smoothly as if he has been calling Taehyung with that name since ages but the effect of that pet name was wild on the blonde.

He blushed red and bit on his lips shyly as Jungkook now walked just beside him with brown eyes locked to the blonde beauty.

''You okay, Tae?'' Jungkook asked again when he saw Taehyung's red face making the blonde nod his head.

''I a-am fine.'' The blue eyed male replied and turned even more red at his own stuttering. Jungkook chuckled looking at the flustered male and he didn't know what came to him and he ended up ruffling the blonde's hairs lovingly.

Taehyung's eyes widen in surprise but the way that small action of Jungkook did things to him, it made the blonde smile brightly.

They stopped when they found some benches in solitude. That area was a bit less crowded than the rest and they let their things rest there.

''Kookie Uncle...let's make a sand castle!'' Little Ara suggested poking Jungkook's waist making the ravenette chuckle.

He crouched down and patted the girl's head lovingly.

''But I don't know how to make one, Princess.'' The ravenette replied making a sad face. The girl giggled and turned to Taegguk who was drinking water.

''Ggukie,let us make the castle. Kookie Uncle is a kid!'' The girl giggled making other's chuckle too. Taegguk nodded and walked off with the girl leaving the adults there. Jin also left with Namjoon to play catch me if you can with the waves while Yoongi wasn't ready to leave Jimin's side.

The sunlight has lost the harshness and all it now was just a soft, orange hues of comforting warmth mixed with the fresh, cold air of the sea.

A group of youngsters were having a beach party at a little distance from them and the blasting music that erupted from speakers along with the sound of waves crashing at the shore made everything more enchanting.

''Beaches are always fun.'' Jimin commented out of nowhere making Yoongi nod. The blonde looked around with bright eyes and sighed dreamily.

''Yup....It looks fun. Everyone is enjoying.'' He stated to no one grabbing Jungkook's attention.

''Why are you saying it as if you never visited a beach before?'' He asked confused. Taehyung looked at Jungkook before smiling sadly.

''I am visiting a beach for the first time.'' He replied looking at his fingers. Jimin looked at the ravenette blankly while Yoongi just prayed to God to keep his boyfriend silent.

''O-Oh...'' That's what Jungkook could reply. He had nothing to say.

A strange sadness enveloped them where everyone was lost in their own thoughts. Taehyung looked at the ravenette who was sitting there silently looking down in guilt. The blonde didn't like how weak his husband looked right now but was there anything he could do to make things better?

''The sand grains feel so good and soothing barefoot.....doesn't it?'' The blue eyed male asked removing his sneakers and playing with the sand with his feet. Jungkook chuckled and nodded while Jimin could see the way Taehyung had looked at his husband from the corner of his eyes and smiled in victory.

That's what he wanted.

To change the subject and divert everyone's attention from the main topic.

To make Jungkook smile again.

He was Taehyung's soulmate for no reason. He could read the blonde's mind like an open book but he didn't say anything and just played along and nodded in agreement.

The blonde was still playing with the sand when Jungkook stood up and extended his hand towards the blonde making him look up at the ravenette confused.

''Let's go on a walk.....barefoot!'' He suggested and Taehyung placed his hand in Jungkook's without taking any time for considering anything.

''I-I'll see you later, Chim.'' The blonde turned to his soulmate nervously. Jimin nodded blankly and both of them walked away from there.

The atmosphere was lazy yet calming. Sun was getting ready to move towards the horizon while wind was caressing and playing with Taehyung's blonde hairs lazily, the tides raced to kiss the shore who was waiting for the ocean to come and embrace him since centuries.

The humming of people talking in the background made everything more lively while the music now started fading as they walked silently to nowhere.

They were not in search for some destination.

Both of them were in love with the journey.

Holding each other hands with the space between their fingers occupied by the other's, Taekook walked lazily in no particular direction.

"Isn't it so beautiful?" Taehyung asked looking ahead at the bunch of kids making sand castle. Jungkook hummed in response before looking at the blonde.

"You like sunset or sunrise more?" The question was out of the blue and it took Taehyung by surprise.

"Why?"

"N-Nothing....just wanted to know." He replied scratching his nape sheepishly.

"Oh...so getting to know each other, are we?" The blonde teased his husband who chuckled.

"Well...Kind of." Because they say its better late than never. Taehyung giggled and looked down for a moment.

"I don't know. Our choices change with time. When you are alone, you hate nights, when you are sad, you love sunsets and when you are excited, you love sunrise...." Taehyung replied indirectly.

There was a silence between both of them for a moment before Taehyung broke it.

"You love sunstes... don't you?" He asked looking at Jungkook who raised his eyebrow impressively.

"How do you know?"

"Because for loving sunrise, you will have to wake up early, you know." The reply made the ravenette chuckle.

"That's true though..."

"I know."

"What's your favourite colour?" The ravenette asked again. Both of them were still walking on the warm sand barefeet that gave a strange sense of satisfaction to their souls.

"You are asking a painter about his favourite colour? Don't you think it will be a bit hard for me to choose?" The blue eyed male asked playfully which made Jungkook nod his head.

"Right...But mine is black." As if Taehyung didn't know that.

"You are so boring! Is that even a colour?"

"I love the colour of your eyes too." The remark made the blonde shut immediately and he blushed scarlet.

"Tell me more about yourself."

"About me? What do you wanna know?" It was a light conversation which made them being comfortable with each other immediately or else both of them end up being awkward.

"Anything.....and everything!" Jungkook replied smiling and squeezing Taehyung's hand encouragingly.

Taehyung smiled and decided to speak.

"Well ....I am Jeon Taehyung, I-"

"I like the ring if it." The ravenette interrupted the blonde who glared at Jungkook playfully.

"Do you want me to continue ahead?" He asked making the ravenette nod his head immediately.

"Then let me speak. Don't interrupt me!" Jungkook put his finger on his lips showing that he won't meddle again making Taehyung giggle.

"Okay...so, my parents died when i was ten and my grandmother raised me up. I have live almost whole of my life alone so I like everything that gives a sense of belongingness to me, be it colours, this air, silence, music, diary, Gguk, Jimin and others.." Taehyung paused for a moment making Jungkook nod in encouragement.

".... Little things make me happy no matter if its a small gift from Gguk, or a smile from my customer, a compliment from someone I love, a movie that has a happy ending. Something about nature gives me contentment." He explained everything that Jungkook didn't know about him.

"Contentment? What's that?" The question from his husband made the blond confused.

"What do you mean?"

''I always wanted to know what is contentment because I never got it.....'' Jungkook spoke making the blonde look at him and the ravenette continued.

''Whole my life, I was searching for something that I didn't know what it feels like. I mean, can you avoid a loss in business when you know nothing about how things work?'' He asked chuckling at the end making Taehyung chuckle as well.

''What kind of example it was?''

''What else do you expect from a businessman?'' The ravenette counter questioned making his husband giggle.

''But that wasn't relatable.''

''But do we care?''

Both of them laughed as now they walked on the edge of the water where the tides would come every now and then to relax their souls by offering them all the calmness ocean held within its depth.

''But seriously, I always wondered how contentment, self satisfaction and all those big words feel like.'' Jungkook commented again and Taehyung looked at him.
