Chapter 1129 He Can No Longer Stay at School
“Dr. Xiao Fang, rest assured.”
The taxi driver turned around and said with a smug smile, “It’s time to show you my skills!”
Fang Qiu, greatly startled, took a look at him.
“Huh?
“An old acquaintance!”
This man was the first driver he treated when he entered the orthopedics department of the affiliated hospital of the University of Jiangjing Chinese Medicine. After that, he brought in a continuous stream of taxi drivers for him to treat.
“Oh, it’s you!”
Fang Qiu smiled and asked, “Long time no see.”
“Yeah, it’s been a long time.”
The driver smiled and said, “My friends have been trying to get an appointment with you, but I couldn’t reach you. Although I knew you were at school, I couldn’t go there lest I disturb you. Later, when I learned that you had gone to the Chinese Medicine Hospital, my friends queued there to seek treatment. Now, every one of them has recovered well and is full of vigor again!”
While the driver chatted happily with him, he gunned his car and passed many vehicles at breakneck speed.
Fang Qiu kept a close watch on the situation for fear of meeting an accident if he drove too fast.
“How could these fellows compete with me?”
……
Watching the other taxis receding in the rearview mirror, the driver looked up proudly and said, “I’ve been a driver for decades. Do you think I practiced all this while for nothing?”
“Amazing, but you’d better not race against others. It’s safer to slow down a little,” said Fang Qiu.
“You’re right.”
The driver nodded in agreement and said, “Actually, I usually drive very slowly. This time, since you came up with such a unique request, I thought I might as well take this opportunity to win an exciting car race. After this, I can drive peacefully for another ten years at least, ha-ha.”
Fang Qiu also smiled.
“Dr. Xiao Fang, are you returning to school or not?” The driver asked.
“Let’s go back to school.”
Fang Qiu nodded affirmatively and said, “You don’t have to go straight back to the school. If I go back to school like this, I will create a big problem. You are familiar with the vicinity of the school, so find a secluded spot to let me off.”
“Got it.”
The driver nodded.
The driver drove to a small alley near the school’s back door, where there were lesser people.
“Well, you’ll be able to enter the school after passing through this alley,” said the driver.
“Thank you.”
Fang Qiu paid the fare and got out of the taxi.
Originally, the driver didn’t want to take his money, but Fang Qiu insisted. He then scanned the QR code and paid his fare.
“Dr. Xiao Fang, please wait a moment.”
After paying, Fang Qiu was about to leave when the driver stopped him and took out a notebook and a pen from the car. He handed them to Fang Qiu abashedly and said, “Could I please have your autograph for my daughter?”

“Sure.”
Fang Qiu took it with a smile and signed his name quickly.
“Can we take a photo together?” The driver asked hopefully.
“Of course.”
Fang Qiu nodded.
After taking a photo with the driver, Fang Qiu walked away quickly. He sneaked in through the alley and entered the school from the back door.
The school’s back door was next to the playground.
At this time, because it was 10 o’clock in the morning, there were not many people at the playground. There were only three or four classes having physical education classes. Some students who did not have to attend any classes were sitting there, practicing English with headphones over their ears, trying hard to recite the categories and effects of medicinal herbs.
Since there were a small number of students and no outsiders, Fang Qiu instantly breathed a sigh of relief. Then he lowered his head and walked along the wall shadows, ready to return to his dormitory quietly.
On the playground, everyone was busy with their own activity, and no one paid any attention to the others.
Of course, none of them noticed Fang Qiu.
Fang Qiu heaved a sigh of relief.
But…
Just as Fang Qiu secretly relaxed a little…
“Fang Qiu!”
All of a sudden, a sudden shout came from the playground.
Fang Qiu was greatly startled.
He quickly turned his head and saw a student jumping away from his classmates who were still doing the frog jump exercises. Then he pointed at him and shouted out loud excitedly!
His scream stopped those students in his class who were doing frog jump exercises, those from other classes, and those studying alone. One after another, all of them turned their heads and looked toward Fang Qiu.
“Fang Qiu! Fang Qiu for real!”
“Fang Qiu has returned to our school.”
“Holy shit, it’s him!”
His appearance caused an uproar among the students on the playground. They forgot all about their classes, and all of them rushed eagerly toward Fang Qiu.
Meanwhile…
The teaching building was near the playground, so the students in it could hear the cheers and shouts from the playground. Almost immediately, they turned their heads and looked anxiously outside the windows…
Fang Qiu stood out clearly at the playground.
Though they were stunned, they could only sit there and watch because they were still in class.
The loud commotion also attracted the attention of the students in other areas of the school. In the confusion, everyone asked each other what had happened.
As soon as they learned that Fang Qiu was back, they all rushed to the playground excitedly, ready to catch a glimpse of this celebrity!
Especially those who were taking the graduation photos on campus, they all rushed over at once and pulled Fang Qiu to stop him from leaving!
On the playground, Fang Qiu was about to run away, but before he could run out, the students from the ground had already rushed over and surrounded him.
Now that he couldn’t get away, Fang Qiu had no choice but to make for the dormitory at his normal speed.

After a short while, crowds of students rushed over and surrounded Fang Qiu, while more people kept coming in from a distance.
“Oh, no way.”
A bitter smile emerged on Fang Qiu’s face.
He had to find a way to escape as soon as possible. Otherwise, he would not be able to leave!
“Dear all, I’m sorry. I’m in a hurry and have to go first.”
After apologizing to all the people around him, Fang Qiu immediately rushed into the crowd.
As soon as everyone saw it, they crowded together to stop Fang Qiu from leaving.
But Fang Qiu moved deftly among the crowd and instantly jumped out of the dense crowd and darted away. Before the crowd could react, Fang Qiu had already made his escape and was some distance away.
There were still a lot of people on the playground and it bustled with noise and excitement. The continuous flow of students who kept rushing there didn’t notice Fang Qiu leaving and let him run away.
After experiencing the fanatical pursuit of those students, Fang Qiu didn’t dare to go back to his dormitory. He could only run all the way to the third floor of the teacher’s office building and eventually arrived at the Vice President’s office.
“Thump, thump, thump…”
Fang Qiu looked around vigilantly. After making sure that there was no one around, he quickly knocked three times on the door.
“Come in.”
Chen Yinsheng’s voice came from the office.
“Vice President Chen.”
Fang Qiu pushed the door open, went in, and quickly closed the door behind him. He greeted Chen Yinsheng, who was working, then he hurried forward and sat down before Chen Yinsheng’s desk.
“Eh?”
Chen Yinsheng looked up and saw that it was Fang Qiu. He was stunned and asked in surprise, “When did you come back?”
“Just now.”
Fang Qiu answered with a wry smile.
“Have you been pursued by your fans again?”
Chen Yinsheng seemed to have seen through his awkward situation and immediately asked happily.
“I didn’t ask for any of this.”
Fang Qiu shook his head and said, “I’m here to take shelter. By the way, I’d like to find out about the students giving free medical treatment in the countryside. People from the Three Billion Foundation have talked about this matter with all the practicing physicians in the countryside. These students didn’t encounter any unexpected or unfair treatments, right?”
“I’m worried about it.”
Chen Yinsheng nodded slightly and said, “After this plan was made known, a lot of students have signed up, but the situation in the countryside is different. Each student will go to one place. No matter how many people have signed up for this, a student can only be assigned to one small mountain village. After all, there are so many physicians, but only a few students from this school. The practice of one-on-one teaching and internship is excellent for every student, but their safety in the countryside is a big issue.”
“After all, we also have to be responsible for the safety of our students!”
Fang Qiu, hearing his concerns, nodded knowingly and said, “I was also worried about this, so I came to ask about the situation. As for the safety issues, let me organize some people to protect them.”
“Well, it will be great if you can handle this problem. Although there will unlikely be any incidents with regards to their safety, we still need to pay attention in case of any emergency.”
Chen Yinsheng nodded slightly, then suddenly laughed and said, “Speaking of which, I was just about to thank you.”
“Huh?”
Fang Qiu was stunned.
“It’s about what you did in Africo.”
Chen Yinsheng said with a smile, “You helped Africo cure the malaria outbreak, which has attracted a lot of worldwide attention and has also created a great impact in the country. Because of you, both the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education have praised our school. I suppose our school will get twice as much funding than what we received before. This is a big event worth celebrating for both our university and your schoolmates.”
“It’s my honor to contribute to Chinese Medicine.”
Fang Qiu said with a smile.
What he said was not to help the school or support his schoolmates, but to make some contributions to Chinese Medicine.
Absolutely!
In Fang Qiu’s view, helping his school and the students was equal to supporting Chinese Medicine!
“Good point.”
Chen Yinsheng nodded with a smile, then rolled his eyes and said, “There is one more thing.”
“What?” asked Fang Qiu.
“You must have seen it when you came back. Your senior brothers and sisters have begun to take graduation photos at school. Graduation season is in full swing. Do you want to give another speech?” Chen Yinsheng asked.
“Thump, thump, thump…”
Suddenly there came a rat-a-tat on the door. Before Chen Yinsheng could speak, a security staff of the school immediately pushed the door open and rushed in, saying, “Vice President, bad news. Fang Qiu’s fans are blocking the school gate. They were so brash that they broke into our school. All our security teams were sent out, and they finally stopped them at the school gate. They said that they wouldn’t leave until they saw Fang Qiu. What should we do?”
“Did they break in?”
Fang Qiu asked in astonishment.
“Yes, they did.”
The staff responded and then noticed that the man he spoke to was Fang Qiu.
“It seems that I can’t stay at school any longer. I have to go.”
Fang Qiu gave a wry smile and said, “Vice President, I’ll leave the rest to you.”
After that, he stood up and ran out without hesitation.
“Er, I’ll go with you to have a look.”
Chen Yinsheng smiled bitterly, then stood up and rushed to the school gate with the staff.

Falling
It is often unclear when a thing comes to an end, the world itself no exception. In the event of the world ending, it was both abrupt and unnoticed, something down right confusing to most involved. Due to this confusion, we will quickly cover the short window of events that led to the destruction of the generally known universe, following the primary instigators to hopefully give the whole thing a little much needed context. ... Author’s Note: I intend to release regularly, hopefully weakly, within the planned three arcs. However, it may go on hiatus between arcs, but it should be clear that an arc has ended. Regardless, I currently plan to go on hiatus after the third arc, which is intended to be a natural breaking point. This is with the hope of not dropping off in the middle of narrative, and I am mentioning it now so no one is surprised if there are planned pauses. Content Warnings: I do not plan to include anything I would see as profanity, gore or traumatizing content. However, I do expect my bar for what qualifies is both above some people’s and below others. Therefore, I am including the Content Warnings so people are not surprised when my view is different. If you find something you do not like, I wish you luck in moving on without it farther concerning you. If I was not as extreme as you were hoping, I apologize for not meeting expectations. I have not marked sexual content, since I do not intend to include explicit sexual acts. However, sex and sexuality still exists and may come up as both an offscreen event or subject. Cover Art: The art work is by me, and I will take it down immediately at request from the artist.

The resulting explosion killed him instantly, and now he has been reincarnated into the world of Rokna. In this new world of magic, monsters, and conflict join him under his new identity Adimir freelancer the adventurer half-elf as he seeks a way to live out an exciting life of researching new and creative ways of combining magic and science. But with a tyrannical empire beginning to prepare for a bloody war the signs of turmoil begin to loom on the horizon. Adimir will face numerous challenges. Both challenges to those native to this world, and against other people have come from earth. Author's comment: I'll be uprfont with you on the entire war thing that the description hints at. Yes it will eventually happen, and many of the strange and out of place things in the beginning will tie into that. Not that it will be explained until much later in the novel. In fact the first 100 or 200 chapters will be spent on the main character growing stronger as an adventurer before the entire war even begins to start rearing its ugly head. So for those eager for the war to kick off sorry, but there won't be a big explosive war so early. At least not with the empire (although if you read carefully you may be able to pick up signs of how close the war is with what happens in the story). But the wait (I hope) will be worth it as it will be diving into some of the stuff a otherworlder in a significant position of power could do with the right knowledge. With that little warning over with I hope you enjoy this novel of mine. Its my first actual attempt at writing a story for people to read so please keep that in mind. If you have any criticism please tell me. I'd love to read them and will be using them to help me in improving my writing quality as time goes on. Experience is the best teacher after all.
