The knocking on the door interrupted Shen Xixi’s recollection. She got up and looked at the door cautiously through the peephole before pulling out the door pin.

Li Bai walked in from outside. He picked up the bottle of mineral water on the table and gulped down half of it. Then he said, “We’ve checked it out. That group of people is in the neighborhood across the street.”
