Chapter 1393: Chapter 1393 – Who’s Here?
The people from the second front obviously didn’t expect that the previously missing Simon would return to this place.
In fact, it wasn’t just the people from the second front. The other players in the camp had also noticed the figure on the cliff. However, they were a little further away, so they couldn’t see the person’s face clearly, it wasn’t until someone flashed a flashlight at the figure that they recognized the person on the cliff.
Then, a commotion broke out in the camp. Those who were looking for weapons were looking for weapons, while those who were wearing clothes were getting dressed. The commander who had returned to the tent to drink a cup of hot water and rest for a while was also found at the first moment, he put on his sunglasses again and walked out quickly. At the same time, he picked up his binoculars.
The person asked with a strange expression, “He’s just… standing there the whole time.”
“He’s just standing there the whole time?”
“Yes, he’s just standing there the whole time. At first, everyone thought that he was going to launch an attack, so they quickly took cover. However, he just stood there and did nothing.”
“He’s probably still coming for the little girl. Go and bring the little girl over,”the man in sunglasses said as he placed the binoculars in front of his eyes.
The person on the other side of the camera was indeed Zhang Heng.
As the target of this operation, the man in sunglasses had done a lot of homework before they set off. Of course, he couldn’t be mistaken, but for some reason, when he saw Zhang Heng again, compared to before.., he felt a strange sense of strangeness.
At the same time, perhaps it was because Zhang Heng had been standing on the cliff for too long and hadn’t moved at all, it made him feel even more uneasy.

Based on his understanding of the man before him, he knew that the man would never do anything meaningless. The fact that he could not see through the man’s next plan only meant that he was not qualified to be the commander.
However, the man in the sunglasses did not have time to think. Soon, the little girl was brought back to his side. After a long day, the little girl looked a little tired and was still rubbing her eyes.
The man in sunglasses held the little girl’s hand and couldn’t help but feel nervous.
Even though there was still some distance between them, he believed that with Zhang Heng’s observational ability, there was no reason why he couldn’t see the little girl beside him. However, to his surprise, Zhang Heng didn’t even look in his direction.
Instead, his gaze was mostly fixed on the crane, as if the machines that could be seen everywhere on the construction site were more attractive to him.
Finally, someone in the camp couldn’t hold it in anymore and pulled the trigger.
At the same time, the man in sunglasses, who had been observing Zhang Heng through the binoculars, also noticed something. He noticed that the expression on Zhang Heng’s face had changed a lot compared to before.
A few hours ago, no matter what happened to Zhang Heng, the expression in his eyes gave people a sense of calmness. He didn’t have much emotion, but now, this Zhang Heng no longer controlled his emotions, however, those emotions were too complicated for the man in the sunglasses to understand.
Combined with the lingering sense of strangeness, the man in the sunglasses finally seemed to have thought of something. A look of fear appeared on his face. He put down the binoculars in his hands and practically screamed at the top of his lungs, “Don’t, don’t shoot! Everyone, put away your weapons!”

However, he was a step too late. A bullet had already flown out of the muzzle of the gun and shot toward the figure on the cliff.
However, just as the bullet was about to hit the target, the figure on the cliff suddenly disappeared again, as if it had never appeared.
The next moment, the light from the flashlight started to move around again. Everyone was trying their best to find where Zhang Heng had run to until the light from the flashlight landed behind the player who had fired earlier, only then did someone let out a cry of surprise.
Zhang Heng somehow managed to stand in the shadow of the player. He reached out and patted the player’s shoulder lightly. Then, the player’s head fell from his neck, it was like a ripe fruit falling from a branch.
This scene looked extremely horrifying!
The other players around him were so frightened that they turned their guns to aim at Zhang Heng. However, before they could fire, their heads also fell to the ground. This time, the camp fell into a state of panic.
Previously, their battle with Zhang Heng had been extremely difficult. Many of them had died, but at least they had come and gone. However, this time, facing Zhang Heng, who came and went without a trace and could make people’s heads fall to the ground without anyone knowing.., everyone’s hearts were filled with confusion. They had no idea how to fight back.
The man in the sunglasses felt his hands and feet turn cold. He knew that his worst guess had come true! While the others were still trying to fight back, he, as the commander, had abandoned his team and returned to the tent.
The Man in sunglasses picked up the satellite phone beside his sleeping bag and listened to the screams coming from outside the tent, but he suddenly did not know what to say.
Until the call was connected, his brain was still in a state of shutdown. He paused for another two seconds before speaking to the other end of the phone with a somewhat hoarse voice, “Do not send any more reinforcements. I repeat, do not send any more reinforcements! He is here!”
“Who’s Here?”The female voice on the other end of the line asked.
However, there was no reply from the other end. The man wearing sunglasses saw the tents around him twisting and changing, turning into terrifying and ugly faces. They were approaching him step by step.
Therefore, the man wearing sunglasses also threw down the satellite phone in his hand. He took out the pistol at his waist and fired wildly at the faces around him.
However, the bullets seemed to have no effect on such a terrifying creature. The man in sunglasses had unknowingly emptied his magazine, so he picked up the fruit knife by the bed and started to slash wildly!
He was not the only one doing similar actions in the camp. In fact, other than a few people who had suffered a mental breakdown, all the players were working hard. However, if there was a third party present.., they would realize that the enemy they were fighting didn’t even exist.
Perhaps it was because the swarm of ants had already bored him out of his mind, Zhang Heng didn’t stay any longer. He only glanced at the crane before it disappeared.
Behind the huge chunk of ice that was being dragged out, a pair of small eyes silently watched Zhang Heng leave. She held a small crystal in her hand. There were strange patterns on the crystal, however, the pattern had already dimmed, and a crack had appeared in the center of the crystal.

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.

The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
