I Have Medicine Chapter 406

Chapter 405 – School of Fist Intent
Tian Mu saw that Liang Ting was still in the middle of a lethargic sleep. He whispered with a persistent tone: “Third brother.”
Liang Xinglong saw that his son-in-law / disciple was treating his daughter with such meticulous care. While he was quite pleased, he was also urgently waiting for an answer.
Tian Hang said: “Master, big brother, let’s go outside to talk.”
The two didn’t have any objections.
Since Tian Hang had an explanation, it was only natural to give him an opportunity to speak.
Thus, three people walked out of the ward, and went into an empty, adjacent room.
This was a private hospital that was under the Tian Family name. The steps taken to maintain confidentiality were excellent, and this entire floor was dedicated solely to Liang Ting’s convalescence.
Tian Hang didn’t have any intentions of beating around the bush. He cautiously and solemnly took out two bottles from his pocket, and clasped them in the palms of his hands: “When I went out this time, my harvests weren’t small.”
Because the path of martial arts that Liang Xinglong practiced was comparatively fierce, his temperament had been affected somewhat. Right away, he asked: “What’s this? It looks like jade?”
Amid Tian Hang’s reluctant gaze, Tian Mu took one of the bottles, and carefully scrutinized it under the hospital’s fluorescent lighting. After that, he said: “The jade quality is pure and limpid. There’s practically no impurities. However, compared to the currently existing precious jade stones, it’s very strange. It seems that it isn’t among any of the known types. This bottle’s workmanship is also peculiar. Although it looks quite ordinary, its luster is full, the jade wall is extremely thin, and it possesses a spiritual nature. It can be rated as a valuable treasure.”
Tian Hang’s understanding of jade artifacts was inferior to that of his big brother, who worked as the family head. Listening up to here, he couldn’t help asking: “Then, how much is this jade bottle worth?”
Tian Mu stated: “Although it’s peculiar, we don’t know if it’s an antique, and it’s too small and delicate. Moreover, this type of jade stone doesn’t have any renown. It’s price is probably around a hundred thousand yuan. If you meet someone who likes it, there’s a chance of raising the price to three or four hundred thousand yuan.”
As he spoke, he was still carefully turning it around in his hands. It was clear to see that he was one of those people who “liked” jade pieces.
Tian Hang said: “Big brother, didn’t you just ask me why I spent so much money? It was for the the things inside the bottle. It was incredibly expensive.”
Tian Mu was surprised, and said: “The things inside?”
He pulled out the cork, and peered down the neck of the bottle. He saw several light-yellow pearls, and smelled a sweet fragrance. But how could this type of pearl be worth that much money?
Tian Hang noticed Tian Mu acting this way. He hastily took the bottle back, and hurriedly re-corked it: “This can’t be opened. Otherwise, the medicinal properties will weaken.”
Tian Mu stared: “Medicinal properties? Inside this…is medicine?”
Tian Hang sighed: “Yes, it’s medicine. Inside is a total of four pills, and each pill is worth twenty million yuan.”
Tian Mu sucked in a cold breath: “T-twenty million?”
Even he was shocked by this medicinal pill’s price.
What kind of medicine would be so expensive!?
To the side, Liang Xinglong suddenly recalled: “Da Hang, is this medicine of yours for treating Ting Ting?”

Tian Hang spoke in a serious tone: “That’s right. These are called Rejuvenation Pills. The Rejuvenation Oral Fluid on the market is created by dissolving and diluting this type of pill. One pill can be diluted into twenty thousand doses, which is why it costs so much.”
However, anything Tian Hang could calculate, so too could Tian Mu. If this oral fluid was indeed useful, it was enough to use several hundred thousand yuan to treat terminal illnesses. But as it happened, Tian Hang had spent tens of millions of yuan. Having spent this much, it was abnormal no matter how one looked at it.
At once, Tian Mu solemnly said: “Third brother, is there anything different about this medicine?”
Tian Hang revealed a smiling expression: “Big brother, you can examine my body first.” He carefully put away the bottle of Rejuvenation Pills, and continued to speak, “Rejuvenation Pills are medicinal pills refined for us ancient martial artists. I didn’t only buy these four pills. When I was at the Zhang Family’s residence, I already swallowed one pill.”
Tian Mu’s mind suddenly had several thoughts.
Tian Hang spoke to Liang Xinglong again: “Master, thou can also take a look. Once thou has seen it, we can give Ting Ting the medicine. In addition, this disciple shall present thee with one of the pills here.”
Tian Mu’s actions were nimble and orderly. He swiftly ordered people to set up an examination room and to bring Tian Hang in for a complete body examination from inside out and top to bottom.
After the exam was finished, Tian Mu and Liang Xinglong were stupefied.
Unexpectedly, there wasn’t a single hidden injury within Tian Hang’s body! The vigor of his qi and blood was almost comparable to that of a Hidden Energy ancient martial artist. Moreover, after taking another look at his features and body, they were able to discover that his state was at the peak. He couldn’t have been better!
Liang Xinglong uttered in astonishment: “Da Hang, these are the effects of the Rejuvenation Pill?”
Tian Hang earnestly said: “Correct. Not only can the Rejuvenation Pill treat terminal illnesses, it can completely get rid of the hidden injuries within the bodies of us ancient martial artists. Even if it’s a Hidden Energy or Transformed Energy expert, it has the same effects.”
His mood calmed down: “Master, if Ting Ting takes the Rejuvenation Oral Fluid, she’ll still be weakened. It’s not guaranteed that her hidden injuries will be cured, and the desired effects will be slow. But if she takes the Rejuvenation Pill, not only can her terminal illness be cured, her body will also be restored to its peak state. At that time, it won’t be as painful when she gives birth to our child!”
Liang Xinglong clenched his fists, which made fierce sounds between his fingers. He couldn’t help giving a hearty laugh: “Good, good, good! Ting Ting didn’t marry you for nothing! It also wasn’t a waste to make you my apprentice!” He took a deep breath, “Da Hang, give me a pill. Once I’ve tested it, you can give one to Ting Ting!”
Tian Hang didn’t object at all. He promptly poured out a pill, and handed it over to Liang Xinglong.
Liang Xinglong swallowed it right away. A warm and comfortable sensation arose within him. Because his awareness of his own body was even sharper than that of his disciple, he immediately discovered that the hidden injuries he accumulated over the years were really improving!
At this time, Tian Hang spoke to Tian Mu: “Big brother, the Rejuvenation Pill is something specially made for martial artists. If someone without any inner power takes it, the medicinal power will be too strong, and it will instead cause harm to the body.”

Tian Mu understood. Although he envied the Rejuvenation Pill’s medicinal effects, he didn’t say anything.
After that, Tian Hang said: “But I think that, although the Rejuvenation Oral Fluid had been launched for the titular purpose of treating terminal illnesses, its usefulness isn’t limited to just this. Other people who aren’t terminally ill might not try it, but big brother can purchase some at the first opportunity, and let the whole family drink a bottle. It should be able to keep them in good health, and dispel some other diseases…”
Tian Mu nodded his head: “I’ll go and make a phone call.”
Tian Hang knew that his family’s big brother was going to swiftly send his subordinates to place orders for the Rejuvenation Oral Fluid. He also felt that, although the majority of Rejuvenation Pills Mister Gu obtained were turned into Rejuvenation Oral Fluid, after this batch was sold out, it was possible that the next batch wouldn’t be able to keep up with demand. It was hard to say.
According to his intuition, it was still better to hoard some as soon as possible.
Not long after, Tian Mu returned. Liang Xinglong also finished digesting the Rejuvenation Pill.
Lots of grime mysteriously appeared on the surfaces of Liang Xinglong’s body. After looking at this scene, Tian Mu felt that the Rejuvenation Pills were even more magical.
Liang Xinglong sensed that his body was at peak strength. He didn’t go to take a bath, and promptly said: “There’s no time to lose. Quickly give Ting Ting the Rejuvenation Pill!”
Tian Hang naturally didn’t object.
The following matters were only to be expected.
Once Liang Ting was given the Rejuvenation Pill, the surfaces of her body were continuously expelling grayish fluids. Tian Hang wasn’t disgusted by this. He personally held her, bathed her, and wiped her clean.
After a little more than an hour, Liang Ting finally stopped shivering. At the same time, she briefly opened her eyes, and exhaustedly fell asleep once more.
Liang Xinglong called someone over to examine Liang Ting’s body. Everything was back to normal. She was like a young woman without the slightest ailment. Once she woke up, she would be a healthy, pregnant woman.
At this time, Liang Xinglong also hurried to take a bath, and cleaned away the grime on his body.
When he came back, Tian Hang called for him and Tian Mu again.
Tian Mu’s emotions were already stirring, and he couldn’t help asking: “Third brother, are you going to talk about the other bottle this time?”
It seemed that a person like him naturally wouldn’t neglect all the details.
Tian Hang nodded his head: “The pill is called the Qi Generating Pill. It’s a medicinal pill that’s suitable for only ancient martial artists. While the price is also expensive, it’s much cheaper than the Rejuvenation Pill.” He took out the other bottle, and displayed the medicinal pills inside, “Each pill is four million yuan.”
Tian Mu asked: “What effects does it have?”
Tian Hang didn’t answer right away. He simply spoke to Liang Xinglong: “Master, how about we spar for a little bit?”
Liang Xinglong’s heart stirred. He promptly took action, and launched an attack at Tian Hang.
Tian Hang tossed the bottle to Tian Mu for safekeeping, utilized his ancient martial arts, and exchanged quite a few rounds with Liang Xinglong. Originally, he should’ve suffered a defeat after a couple exchanges, but now, he was able to catch Liang Xinglong’s heavy blows. Although he stifled a few groans, he still held his ground.
Tian Mu stood on the side, and watched with a steady gaze.
Although he wasn’t a true ancient martial artist, he had learned some martial arts. As he observed the scene before his eyes, he didn’t know how this third brother of his had already made so much headway in the martial disciplines.
After roughly fifteen minutes, Liang Xinglong stopped.
Tian Hang panted several times, and excitedly said: “Master, how was that?”
Liang Xinglong was amazed. His thoughts and feelings were moving: “With your current level, it seems that you can advance to the Hidden Energy Stage after another period of tempering! Could it be —”
With an incomparably burning and fervent gaze, he immediately looked at that bottle.
Tian Hang suddenly nodded his head: “Correct. I swallowed a Qi Generating Pill, and my inner power increased by ten years! Perhaps the Rejuvenation Pill is extremely miraculous, but as far as we ancient martial artists are concerned, the benefits of the Qi Generating Pill are by no means below that of the Rejuvenation Pill!
Liang Xinglong obtained a confirmation. His breathing slowed: “Does this type of medicinal pill have an effect on any stage?”
Tian Hang said: “After I took the Qi Generating Pill, I wasted a lot of the medicinal effects. With regards to master, it should be very suitable. However, Mister Gu also mentioned that the more outstanding the person’s inner power, the weaker the Qi Generating Pill’s effects. But as far as we’re concerned, even if it’s only a little bit useful, this price is worth it!”
One had to know that, in order to seek out good medicines with strong medicinal powers or that had matured for a long time, ancient martial artists often needed to fight each other over them, and purchase them before it was too late. As for the medicinal ingredients obtained, the effects weren’t necessarily going to be that good. But what about this type of pill? Once it was taken, the effects were instant and observable. Even though one had to spend even more money, it didn’t matter!
Liang Xinglong quickly swallowed a pill. Sure enough, the effects were even more amazing than what Tian Hang said. Right away, his inner power increased by a dozen or so years — He was a Hidden Energy Stage expert! Moreover, there weren’t any side effects at all!
This kind of medicinal pill… As one could well imagine, this kind of medicinal pill was going to stir up an enormous hurricane among ancient martial artists!
Immediately following this, Tian Mu raised his own question: “Third brother, who is that Mister Gu you mentioned? That Mister Gu sold such medicines to you this easily?”
Tian Hang had a trace of uncontainable excitement: “Mister Gu is the personage who refined the medicinal pills. He can’t take out many Rejuvenation Pills, but it seems that he’s willing to sell Qi Generating Pills. His only request was that we inform some close friends and relatives… But I feel that we have to make some plans on this matter.”
Tian Mu’s brows furrowed: “If we’re thinking of using underhanded methods…” He quickly overturned this notion, “It probably won’t be easy.”
Tian Hang’s complexion was serious: “I couldn’t see through Mister Gu’s strength. In addition, there was someone else by his side. Although he didn’t talk much, the feeling he gave me was even more dangerous. We shouldn’t try to overreach ourselves.”
Tian Mu murmured: “We’ll have to carefully consider this matter. Teacher Liang can bring the news back to the School of Fist Intent, and discuss things with the school. Afterwards, we can get in touch with some like-minded parties. It would be for the best that we hold a private gathering, and get acquainted with that person…those two personages.”
Liang Xinglong knew what was at stake. He attached great importance to this, and said: “I’ll go back immediately.”
T/N: I just wanted to share some happy news IRL. I passed my NCLEX, and now I’m a registered nurse! I still have three more years to go for my nursing program. After that, I can take my boards and become a nurse practitioner.
With regards to this translation, the speed will probably still remain the same. You guys don’t have to worry about this project being dropped. Concerning the dating chapters, Part II is short and will be posted in two days. As for Part III, it’s another double-length chapter.

The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
