Shi Xueyun’s complexion turned 180 as she was really worried and afraid of what Young Master Mei could do, so she just remained silent.

“What happened here? Young Master Mei? What are you doing here?” A woman said as she walked in.

“Master! Does the disciple here have to marry someone from Heavenly Plum God Clan?” Shi Xueyun immediately asked as she saw Elder Wan.

“Shi Xueyun, that might be the case now. For the sake of the faction, you might have to marry someone from the faction, regardless of who it is.” Elder Wan said with embarrassment clear on her face.

“That is not what you told me before, master! I know that I have to repay the faction somehow, but I don’t think I want to sacrifice my freedom!” Shi Xueyun said solemnly. She knew that she had to repay Heavenly Plum God Clan somehow, but she still wanted to be with Yi Tianyun!

Now, do you think I am not worthy of you? Or do you think the person you like is more powerful than me? “Xueyun, your bloodline is best to mingle with our Heavenly Plum God Clan. You should forget about everything you left in the Mortal World. The person you miss would surely understand that!” Elder Wan persuaded.

“I’ve already said from the beginning that I won’t give you my freedom if I join this faction! Now, you’re all just a big disappointment!” Shi Xueyun said coldly.

“Now, think it over again, Xueyun. Did you have any other choice here? Just marry me, and I promise you that we would visit your Mortal World faction someday! Furthermore, aren’t I more handsome than the guy you left there?” Young Master Mei said with confidence.

“No, there’s not even a thing better about you than him!” Shi Xueyun said coldly.

Elder Wan sighed, but she didn’t do anything to help out Shi Xueyun.

“Master, I didn’t expect you to plan this from the beginning!” Shi Xueyun said while shaking her head in disappointment.

“Being your master is the last resort. I know from the beginning that your physique and innate ability would produce a strong descendant for our Heavenly Plum God Clan.” Elder Wan sighed. She was on a mission to improve the quality of the Heavenly Plum God Clan’s descendant as it was steadily declining.

They surely couldn’t let Shi Xueyun go as she had the best innate ability and physique that Elder Wan has ever seen in a long time.

Shi Xueyun’s face was full of conviction. She was prepared to fight her way out no matter what, for Yi Tianyun’s sake. She hoped that Yi Tianyun was there to save her, but it was impossible! At least that was what she thought.
