The Heavenly Plum Mountain Range was located at the north of the Pan Cloud Continent and had a relatively cold area temperature. This place wasn’t a proper cultivation area as the climate was too harsh but didn’t provide a good Cold Spiritual Energy to help the ice cultivators. However, it might be because of the Divine Rune that the Hidden World Clan used to conceal their hideout.

After a period of flight, Yi Tianyun finally arrived at the foot of the mountain range. He had to say that Heavenly Plum Mountain Range was really far from Heaven Ascending Divine Altar. Even with his incredible speed, Yi Tianyun still had to take more than a week to get there. The place itself was really isolated. It was surrounded by mountains and forests with no village in sight. Not even a single demon beast was sighted either!

However, there was a lingering fog on the top of the highest mountain that Yi TIanyun couldn’t quite perceive what was behind it. But Yi Tianyun was quite confused by the name of the place as he saw no Plum Blossom growing there despite the name Heavenly Plum Mountain Range!

As Yi Tianyun walked around, he finally realised that the thin white fog that covered the place was a maze, and once he walked past the thin fog, he saw the real identity of the mountain range itself! Yi Tianyun finally saw several young boys and ladies who seemed to be preparing some kind of trial.

“Hey, can I join the trial?” Yi Tianyun asked politely. He knew that even though this was a Hidden World Clan’s hideout, they still had to recruit a fresh cultivator for their regeneration. Shi Xueyun was the best example of that! They certainly couldn’t survive with themselves as they eventually wouldn’t have enough successor for the next generation.

So, if he can join the Smelting Trial that the Hidden World Clan has prepared, he would able to sneak in without too much effort, and he would be able to investigate without anyone getting suspicious.

For example, he could see what has the faction doe to their disciple and how they treated their disciple in all aspect so that he knew whether Shi Xueyun has been treated well or not.

As he saw no one really minded his presence, Yi Tianyun then followed the group of young men and women. He saw that most of them were at a tender age of 16 or 17, not too old, but definitely not a kid anymore. Their cultivation was at Body refinement Stage, which in theory, was quite bad for their age. Yi Tianyun was quite surprised as he saw the Heavenly Plum Race recruited these weak teenagers.

“You have to follow me, or you will lose your way in there! If you lose me, you will get lost, and no one can come and save you from your misery!” The leader of the group shouted sternly.

This leader is a handsome young man at a 6th Layer Core Condensation Stage cultivation. He was qualified enough to become a team leader in Yi Tianyun’s standard, but as he saw several impatient faces from the crowds, he knew that the situation wouldn’t be under control for much longer.

“Hey, why haven’t I seen you earlier?” the leader asked as he saw Yi Tianyun looking around.

“I suppose you were counting when I took my time for number two earlier, so you might’ve missed me there.” Yi Tianyun said indifferently.

“No wonder, but please don’t stray out of the group; it would be dangerous!” The leader said with a smile on his face.

They immediately hit it off along the way as Yi Tianyun generally knew that these Smelting Trials were made for recruitment from the Heavenly Plum race. It was no wonder either as both of them were slightly older and had higher cultivation compared to the rest of the recruits.

Body Refinement Stage wasn’t that low theoretically as it was sufficient for a public area. What good was a high cultivation level if you ended up becoming a trader or cleaner? After all, there were endless ways of getting a good income in this world.

But, there was a case of a wealthy family that helped help their children breakthrough, and thus they would end up becoming a cultivator!

That was what these teenagers were doing. They clearly didn’t have enough resources to breakthrough on their own, and thus trying their luck on the smelting trials that they somehow joined in.

The one who talks with Yi Tianyun was called Xiao Wu, a very common name, and he was from a completely average family that you could find anywhere. There was nothing special about him. However, he was honest, and it seemed that he was quite humble despite his cultivation being a bit higher than the rest.

But the mood here wasn’t that great as it was clear for Yi Tianyun that not all of these teenagers were trying their best. It seemed that they only want to get a little reward for trying, maybe a martial arts or medicinal pills.

They didn’t expect anything special as they didn’t think that they could do much on these Smelting Trial.

“This is the epitome of the lowest of Cultivation World!” Yi Tianyun said as he shook his head with a sigh. These people were the embarrassment of the cultivation world as they didn’t think about their future at all!
