The Summoner is Going Chapter 144 part2
Translation: DarkHeartedAlchemist
Editor: Weasalopes
Neither the guild leader nor Granny Gelta looked like they were going to help me.
My back was against the wall
It was ever since I came to this town.
We are in the parade grounds.
Juna-san, Granny Gelta and the guild leader are here with me.
I hate to admit it, but I am heavily outnumbered in the middle of the enemy territory.
I guess I have no choice but to do this, so I summon the minsters I took here with me: Volff, Zangetsu, Helix, Obsidian and Heather.
「Hmm… what do you think, Gelta?」
「They are pretty nice.」
「Yes, but not to my taste after all.」
「There’s your necromantic taste showing. You still don’t like anything if it’s not all bones and rotten flesh?」
「And you still hate all things undead.」
「I don’t hate them! I just don’t like them!」
「Isn’t that the same thing?」
This is awesome!
To think there would actually be someone in this world who will manage to push Granny Gelta back!
Of course, I’m not going to say that out loud.
Juna-san outstretches her hand towards Volff and he slowly approaches her.
And she gently strokes his head.
She looks fairly used to it too.
Could it be that Juna-san is also fond of petting everything that has soft fur?
「Keith-san? Forgive my curiosity, but do you happen to have an undead of some kind among your Summon Monsters?」
「Well, I do have a sentient Mist and a Skeleton.」
「Aaaah! That’s great!」
Ahh, now I see.
I get it.
This person is a monster freak just like Adele, but with a knack for undead ones.
I called Heather back and summoned both Mumyo and Zuiun.
Sorry for summoning you in the middle of the day like that, guys.
Also, Zuiun still hasn’t grown at all since I first summoned him.
But even so.
When she saw Mumyo, Juna-san laughed happily.
「It, it looks like a crab! Hahaha, you have a great sense of style, I like it!」
And she hits my back in a friendly manner.
I didn’t choose that specific armor because I thought it looked cool, by the way. I chose it because it is relatively light for its good defensive stats.
「All right, I won’t lose! I will show you something nice as well!」
And she began spellcasting.
Both Gelta’s and the guild leader’s expressions changed in an instant.

「Master!」
「Juna-sama, please don’t do anything rash!!」
「Summon Monster!」
Juna-san’s spell is finished, and a monster appears from within the summoning circle.
It’s not big.
It seems to be the same size as a human being.
Vampire Duke Lv ???
Summon Monster On Standby
Battle Position: Ground, Air
The figure was that of a beautiful young man who gives off some narcistic vibes.
He stands in the middle of the room in an imposing yet dignified pose.
Is he one of those vampires who can freely walk in the sunlight without being burned by it?
「See, isn’t he totally cool?」
「M, Master!」
「Juna-sama, that’s an overkill!」
「I-I think he’s pretty cool.」
I agree with what Juna-san says, just to be on the safe side.
Vampire Duke keeps his eyes closed and most of his face obscured with his robe.
Although it is daytime, he does not have a yellow marker indicating an abnormal status over his head. He really must be suffering no penalty from sunlight.
That is both unusual and amazing, even for a Summon Monster.
「Why are you acting so repulsed, Gelta? He’s not even looking at you! See, his eyes are closed!」
「But he’s still scary!」
「Oh now you’re just being melodramatic!」
I have no words to describe what is going on here.
I thought that my teacher was a lost cause, but it seems that this person is even worse!
Is it because she is master’s master?
「What do you think?」
「It is amazing.」
「Do you want to be able to summon monsters like that yourself?」
「I would love to, especially if it would reflect how strong I’ve become.」
「I see. In that case you should learn 【Alchemy】as well.」
Ugh.
【Alchemy】is one of the skill that I’ve put on a backburner up until now. I’m afraid that I’m not very skilled at it.
「Anyway, what does alchemy have to do with monster summoning?」
「You’ll understand with time if you decide to pursue that path.」
I’ve been thinking.
Even though this woman is a master of both Granny Gelta and Master, her appearance was really deceiving. She might be incredibly wise, but that penchant for speaking with cryptic riddles is rather childish.
Maybe that’s where Master got her habit from?
「Okay, if our business here is done then I’ll be on my way.」
「Oh, before you go, tell Aurnier that I want him to deliver another 100 Mana Potions the day after tomorrow.」

「I’ll be sure to do that.」
Concluding everything with the guild leader I decided it was high time to leave the building.
While I was walking out, Juna-san smiled and waved her hand at me.
But I mustn’t be fooled by her.
Out of everyone gathered in Gelta-san’s office, she is the most dangerous.
The tension that was eating away at me disappeared only when I finally lost sight of her.
I hopped on Zangetsu’s back and made my way back towards Master’s house.
The lineup is back to what it was when it came here.
The way back was smooth.
But monsters still attacked us.
Well, I’m not pressed for time now, so I guess we can humor them for a bit.
So come and get some!
For some reason, monsters are attacking us regularly until they reach the sights the entrance to the forest.
It was the same on the road to the village of Legias.
We were attacked by Stray Horses again.
Just like last time, they were a welcomed change from all the other weaklings.
Wild Pheasants (female) attack until they come out on the road, and then they stop chasing after us.
What is this strange feeling?
I have finally arrived at the Master’s house.
However, something was obviously wrong.
Stone Golem was moving. And Master’s Magi Owl was sitting on his shoulder.
「Keith! Stop right there! I’m coming to you now!」
Eh?
Did I do something to upset Master?
The Magi Owl jumps on my head.
Certainly, I can feel hostility very clearly.
But nothing has attacked me so far.
「What happened?」
「It’s not your fault! But we do have quite a bothersome situation on our hands.」
「Eh, a bothersome situation?」
Strange.
A voice that is neither me nor Master reverberated in my ears.
「Show yourself, fiend!」
「Who are you calling a fiend?!」
Where?
Where is it coming from?
Wait…I know this voice!
Juna-san?
「Here, boy. I am here.」
My shadow was shaking unnaturally.
Another shadow detached itself from it, and its blackness gradually returned to its original shape.
Juna-san.
Magic Show?
「Surprised?」
「Surprised does not even begin to describe how I feel right now.」
「Well, looks like we have something even more surprising before us.」
Something big appeared across the wall surrounding the house.
It was Roc Bird.
「Planning to escape, are we?」
Juna-san reaches out towards it.
She doesn’t have any weapon, magic or otherwise.
But she has rings on her fingers.
I could understand it even without using Sense Magic.
Each of them holds tremendous magical power.
「Dark Prison!」
The surroundings are cloaked in darkness.
It swallowed up even Master’s house in its entirety.
What about Roc Bird?
It cannot fly away.
I mean, it tries to, but is unable to break through the darkness.
Meanwhile, Juna-san talks to Master’s Magi Owl.
「Stop being so prejudiced and just do what you have to do. I promise to let you go as soon as you finish your work.」
「No! I don’t want to do any more business with those guys! They are like, super scary!」
「What the…?!」
What is going on in here?
Master looks like she wants to avoid meeting with Juna-san at all costs, but she doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge against Master.
If anything, it’s the reverse.
My head starts to hurt from everything that was unfolding in front of me, but it looks like Juna-san just came to make sure that Master finishes his work on time this time?
She effortlessly neutralized all of his defensive systems.
She stopped the golem who was about to punch her with just a snap of her fingers!
Whatever, I don’t care anymore!
If Master was allowed to escape I would have end up in serious trouble.
Besides, I am interested in creating Mana Potions.
Master is now in front of the house.
His Roc Bird was also called back.
「Aurnier-chan, it’s been ages since I last saw you!」
Juna-san went straight for a hug without any prior warning!
Master just stands in place, motionless.
His eyes look like the ones of a dead fish.
Master, I feel sorry for you…. No wait. On second thought, I’m not sorry at all! Serves you right for sending me to do business in your place!

Reincarnated, Now What? (ReWorked)
This is what I always wanted. I always wanted to fight like in the anime and manga. Video games could only fill part of the void, but never fully. Follow Haruto, a young Japanese boy struck down in the middle of his gaming life and reincarnated at the whims of a sadist god. He is a chill dude, who loves anime and otakuing it up. The sadist powers that be have forced him to a new world, now he endeavors to live out every weeb's dream of reincarnation. you know minus the boring parts like fighting for justice. In a world of gods, demihumans, and thankfully succubi, Haruto decides to live the life of his dreams. It's a comedic isekai that should not be taken too seriously. An adventurer in age denial. A man who looks like a pig. The ever present human trash who call themselves nobility. Of course butlers because who doesn't like OP butlers who for some reason stay a butler. A croc that acts like a dog. Tons of one-inch punches in honor of the great one. A tribute to the best waifu. A wide assortment of demons. A lich who is great at kissing butt. It's an adventure slice of life journey and tons of trash talking. I mean how could a weeb not be good at trash talking, have you not read a wuxia before? Currently in the middle of revision, so bear with me on grammar and tense issues. Will be done within this life time.

Clarent Saga: Chronicles
Based on my work on Saga of the Jewels, I've been hired by an indie game developer to write the novel for their 'novel + turn-based battles' game which is in Early Access on Steam. Of course, a 'novel + turn based battles' is a terrible idea for a game, which is why no other games like this exist, but hey, the developer is paying me. And if something's worth doing at all, it's worth doing as well as possible, so I am going to give this project my very best shot and try to make it as good as it can be. So if you read this, please give me feedback on the story to help me make it as good as it can be! Please note, for this story I have been given a pre-existent set of characters, character back-story sketches and a rough plot to work with. I also have to insert random battles into the narrative, have set characters appear in a certain order, and have the party fight fixed bosses in a certain order, all at fixed points! Please also note that this is a first draft. I will be editing and re-working this in the future and re-posting it. But I need helpful feedback, if anyone can give it. You can also find the game version of this on Steam by searching there for 'Clarent Saga: Chronicles'.
