From The Strongest Job of Dragon Knight, To The Beginner Job Carrier, Somehow, The Heroes are Depending on Me Volume 3 Chapter 21
Translator: “Pink Tea” Editor: “Ryunakama”
Just before the execution of the plan.
Saki, Daisy and I were inside of the Magic Science Guild’s laboratory, making our preparations. Andー
「Confirming poison entering pre-alteration stage! Antidote manufacture to begin in 30 seconds!」
Saying that, Moka was peering into a tube-shaped apparatus standing at the center of the lab.
The tube contained lenses, that apparently allowed her to get detailed information on the state of the poison.
A wave of nervousness ran through the laboratory after her words.
The expressions of personnel were saying that the real fight starts now.
Of course, Moka gave off the same air as she was looking into the tube, having her hand on the switch of the machine that will produce the antidote.
「Granz-san. Lysnoir-san. You remember the plan, right?」
「Yes, of course.」
「Yes. I will proceed just as we discussed, Chief-san.」
Moka will create the antidote immediately after the poison finishes transforming.
After finishing preparations by putting the medicine into pistol-type injectors, she is supposed to hand them over to Saki and me, with me going to the injection point on the top and Saki going to the bottom of the tree.
The injection points are marked with paint by the knights, so we only have to travel there and pull the trigger.
Next, I’ll have to return to the laboratory, and then head to the injection point on the ground.
That’s how it’s supposed to go.
「Yes. I’ll do my best creating the medicine as fast as possible… We are counting on you for the rest.」
As we exchanged a few lines, Moka began countdown while looking into the tube.
「Five seconds… Three, two, one, 【Pharmacological Magic: Antidote Revised Version】begin…!」
Confirming the alteration, Moka-san pressed the switch on the machine and simultaneously activated a magic skill.

A moment later, cylinders, set on the machine meant to produce the antidote, began to move.
Two of them at the same time.
Start of the manufacturing process.
…Currently, only Moka and Daisy are capable of operating the equipment to produce the antidote.
In medicine, having all of the ingredients is not enough to get the final product, you also have to have sufficient skills and knowledge.
In fact, I have no idea what is going on.
「…It’s working. Two doses are coming……!」
But it seems that for Daisy it was clear.
Well, that’s her expertise after all.
…It seems that they also settled on pistol-type injectors to make the administration of medicine possible without any special knowledge.
I appreciate such consideration.
「Ten seconds until completion!」
Once again Moka’s voice sounded.
And just as she announced, ten seconds later Moka retrieved a fresh green colored medicine from the machine, already charged into the injector. Andー
「One dose for the top part and one for the bottom, finished! Please, Lysnoir-san! Granz-san!」
She handed it to us with those words.
Accepting the medicine we dashed out of the laboratory.
My goal is injection point at the upper part of the tree, not that far from the passageway leading down.
Knights painted the spot just as we agreed, so I could see it even from here.
As for Saki, she was heading in the opposite direction from me to the lower part of the God Tree.
「Then, I’ll be going ahead, Axel.」
「Yeah, wait for me down there.」
Then, parting with me, Saki went for the God Tree’s plaza.
Looking at her actionsー
「Eh? Lysnoir-san? The passageway is in the other direction…」
One of the knights exclaimed in surprise. Howeverー
「Yeah, it’s fine. Rather than using that, it would be faster to go from the outside.」
Saki kept running without care Andー
「【Freeze・Ice Air】」
「Eh…?!」
Activating a spell she then jumped off the God Tree.

Sidonius, who was waiting at the warehouse district along with the other knights of the order, caught sight of Saki.
She was sliding through the air.
Creating a spiral path from ice pillars, she now was descending, sliding on it.
「No way, she is using magic to get down……!」
「Well, that’s Lysnoir’s specialty.」
Berzelia who was apparently was assigned to standby on the ground after her talk with Saki said.
Her tone is quite indifferent. However, we couldn’t help but feel uneasy. The reason isー
「U-using magic near the God Tree is dangerous, isn’t it……?」
「One can’t stabilize the magic in its proximity. The magic power of the God Tree gets in the way.」
「Yes. If Saki-dono is using a spell while simultaneously absorbing the magic power of the tree it’s another story, butー」
Using two spells at the same time is an outrageously high-level technique.
Furthermore, Sidonius never saw a person who could do that continuously.
In fact, the City Of God Tree didn’t have even a single person capable of that. Consequently, they had to resort to physical means to go up and down the tree.
However, contrary to what was going through his mind, Berzelia tilted her head.
「Simultaneously? Ah, I think she can do that, but…… I think Lysnoir uses a more effective method.」
「……What? Wha-what might that mean?」
「Well, there. Look at that.」
In the direction, Berzelia pointed.
We could see pillars of ice, from which the path consisted, gradually crumbling.
…The magic, the magic wasn’t stable after all…!
If you just use magic, as usual, that would be the result.
In less than a few seconds, magic will forget it’s given form and losing stability will rampage.
Even spells of the hero of magic were no exception.
They aren’t, and yetー
「Eh, she is accelerating……?」
As if she was riding the crumbling ice like some kind of wave.
Saki’s speed kept increasing as she rode the melting ice.
「Do-don’t tell me, she is using the fact that the magic is not stable……?」
Berzelia nodded to Sidonius’s words as if saying, yup, that is so.
「I hate to admit it, but Lysnoir is a genius when it comes to magic. After all, she seriously was saying some incomprehensible stuff like 『As if a bit of instability makes it unusable』or『If it’s unstable, I just have to make a stable instability』. 」
This very moment, that icy path is close to crumbling completely.
At which point Saki created additional ice pillars, and revolving around them like in a dance, kept going down.
「To think she can slide down such a rough path, with all those constant changes from vertical surfaces to an unstable mess…」
「……And I can do nothing but wait after losing rock paper scissors. Well, since it’s Lysnoir, she should be able to assist with Master’s work without any problem, so it’s fine I guess.」
And while Berzelia kept mumbling such words, Saki’s figure gradually grew bigger andー
「Phew, arrived. Did I make you wait?」
The icy path reached our immediate vicinity, and Saki softly landed on the ground from it.
「Just a bit. Master would’ve made it faster after all.」
「I thought you’d say that. Well, for now, I finished my task. Captain-san, the injection point is here, correct?」
「Ah, y-yes. Go ahead.」
When Sidonius pointed to the arranged location, Saki slowly approached it and pulled the trigger of the injector.
With a pshun sound, the syringe was shot at that location, administering the antidote.
「With this we are done here. Then, Captain, I shall go to the Axel’s drop point.」
「Ah, yes. Please do.」
「See you later. Sidonius-ojisan」
And like that, half-running, Saki and Berzelia made their way to the other side of the God Tree.
One of the subordinates looking at that said.
「So that is… The power of the heroes…… Amazing isn’t it, Captain……」
「Yeah. Truly so. I thought that Axel-dono was amazing, but other heroes are also outrageous. The outlook on carriers might completely change if people learn that they are doing carrier’s requests as a team..」

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.

The Laptop Hero (Portal/Isekai LitRPG)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - April 2022 Silas got summoned to another world—by a group of kids attending magic school who seemed rather unhappy with the results of their ritual. After a brief glimpse of his summoners Silas woke in the town dump. Unable to speak the local language, a misunderstanding escalated and before long Silas wound up in a jail cell, the locals having confiscated all his worldly possessions aside from his laptop, which had formed some strange bond with him. Now he can summon his laptop at will, and he can view his Status, level up, and gain powerful skills and magic as if he were some character in a video game, which is great and everything, but all Silas really wants to do is sit in a dark room and play games on his laptop. Only, life isn't a game, and Silas needs to get his act together because everyone else is playing for keeps. Or does he? Maybe for Silas life is just one big game now, with everyone else stuck playing by his rules. Assorted Disclaimers, in no particular order: I am only posting this on RoyalRoad.com, so if you find my story elsewhere it was not posted by me. Please do let me know! While I do consider this a progression fantasy, and have tagged it as such, Silas's Status improvements will not necessarily proceed in a linear fashion. His RPG stats will have ups and downs, exploits and nerfs, periods of growth and stagnation. Such is the life of a gamer, to be held under the thumb of the all powerful devs, or in this case a certain goddess devoted to the idea of Balance. SIlas himself should learn and grow, improving and progressing in areas where he struggles, or rather, to show such is my goal. The story is told from multiple points of view. While other PoVs will come and go, Silas shall remain the only lead character. The world Silas finds himself on is not a nice place. Expect him to encounter gore and traumatizing content and bad people who do bad things for selfish (or possibly noble) reasons from time to time. Some characters will use profanity, however due to cultural differences the curse words used will differ from those used in our corner of reality, so I'm not including the profanity content warning. Silas himself isn't one for foul language. No explicit sexual content here. This novel is intended for mature readers, however, and will include mature topics, including, but not limited to, sex, violence, death, and taxes. No harem. Might be an eventual romantic interest, possibly even some competitive jealousy, yet as his story begins Silas is too overwhelmed with other concerns to consider long term plans. Musophobics might want to steer clear of this story. Same goes for turophobics. You have been warned. Keep in mind, however, if my other disclaimers didn't make this clear, I only have the faintest of outlines at the moment. This story will take me where it will. My goal with this story is to write it to the end, something of a long-term writing exercise, with the hope others might take an interest in my work and encourage me to keep at it. I've started a number of works before, even finished a few, but this is the first time I've shared any work in a public forum. My temporary cover was made by me, in GIMP using public domain images. If you can do better I'll happily accept your submission and give credit for your work here!

Zeroth Knight
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Just when she was about to confess to the man of her dreams, Eve is taken by a light to another world. Swallowing her up, against her will, eroding her, it demands a life so contrary to her previous one. In a new world with the title of “Zeroth” forced upon her, she must rely on her newfound “friends” to stay sane and navigate her responsibilities. But bit by bit, the world loses sight of the girl inside; seeing only “Zero,” the person she did not desire to be, but the hero that the world needed. Will Eve let the title she bears consume her, or will she become the hero in both body and mind? This is the tale of her struggles, and a star-crossed love destined by Fate to never converge. This is the tale of Zero. This story is a slow-burn, meant to be a few hundred pages or more in length, so the plot isn't the fastest to move. It also has lesbian-themed relationships for the majority of its cast. This story partially falls under, "harem" with the main character being female and gaining the affection of other females, against (at first) the main character's (Eve) will. This first arc will be more focused on the mentality and emotions of the cast with battles spaced intermittently. The second arc will involve a lot more fighting. Arc two will be out in a reasonable timeframe. I have another story up, a short story drama with light yuri and supernatural themes: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/27010/escape-the-knight I am will continue updating older chapters to make them flow better, and to just be more structurally sound.
